Truly elevated experience, the menu and the service outstanding. I love the dark and sexy ambiance.
We had the 4 course menu experience with wine pairing. Food was decent but the service was atrocious. Every food item was put down in front of us without any explanation, which was strange, especially when the ‘menu experience’ did not have a set menu for us to read. Nobody asked us how the food was. The best part was the sommelier who gave great explanation about the wines she was pouring. Very disappointing experience overall. We did not feel taken care of at all. Paid $400 for a mediocre meal not to be remembered. Their service needs a major overhaul.
Food ok only for that price level. Service was painfully slow and indifferent.

We went to CUT to experience restaurant week.
The corn salad and tomato salad we shared were excellent however our main course of soft shell crab was inedible. The shell was hard and crunchy. With good soft shell crab the shell is cooked soft and edible. This shell was so hard a piece got stuck in my throat. Tried to remove the crab from the shell but there was basically nothing there!
My friend and I were very disappointed with this restaurant.
We’re in from California on a work-cation & had the most outstanding experience where we were greeted & spoken to by not only the General Manager... but we were able to talk Cheese with the Global Director of Wolfgang Pucks restaurants. Let alone the food was out of this world. Can’t wait to go back!

Coming all the way from San Francisco, California, I was looking for a culinary experience that made the trip worth it.
Simply put, Cut by Wolfgang is a "Cut" above all other restaurants I've visited I've visited so far in NYC.
The dynamic flavoring of the food, eagerly attentive wait staff, and quaint environment made for a memorable experience.
As perfect a steakhouse as can be found. Service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. Every staff member even those who seemed to be busing, seemed knowledgeable. Highly recommend
Great service and friendly staff. The steak and ravioli were off the charts tasty...my only complaints was it being pretty warm and loud.

Restaurant week lunch! Food was delicious, loved the skate wing and ravioli. Service was sort of subpar, friendly but pretty distant. Wasn’t too busy either.

The food was outstanding. My family said the steaks were the best they've ever had. I had the trout and it melted in my mouth. The attention to detail and service were excellent. It's pricey but I highly recommend.
The tuna tartare was very good, and so were the cheese puffs in the beginning. But unfortunately they over cooked my steak, I asked for a medium and I got a medium well- to well done. I was quite disappointed as this is a Wolfgang puck resturant, but I’m not the kind of person that will send their steak back at a restaurant. I also ordered the wagu which is quite pricey to ruin it. The soufflé tho was amazing. Also selection wine by the glass is not great, I just wanted one glass of a nice wine, and all the ones available didn’t really cut it.

Best steaks in the city anchor an eclectic menu not found in most steakhouses. Wolfgang Puck has designed an exciting menu, but gives liberty to his incredible chefs (yes -real chefs- not just running a line). In New York the chef in residence is the incredible Raymond Weber, whose talents and innovation are only limited by the ability to get the highest quality ingredients, which are often seasonal.
The nice part is as the seasons change, we get new dishes, although often times at the price of losing a favorite.
Kudos to the job done at Cut, food, ambiance and services are all first class.
To start, I have been to this restaurant overall ten times. This was my favorite restaurant in town. This is no longer the case. The wagyu was over cooked the first time and cold in the center the next time. I am not sure what happened, but they need to go back to the old way
This was a reservation I made for my girlfriend and her girlfriend while they were in the city. Giovanni, Taylor, Peter and Paul all did a wonderful job of making the evening special and helping me with some special arrangements for my girlfriend.
We will be back, but I am coming next time. Can't wait.
Strange seating, over cooked steak
I had dinner in Vegas Resturant and I loved it. This time I took my family and we had great food , excellent service experience.

It was a celebration for a very significant event in my partner’s life and I know he and his mother will never forget the wonderful experience, incredible cuisine the ambiance and extreme Michelin type service we experienced that night on Friday June 22nd. The servers and staff went over the TOP. THANK YOU ALL

Sat at the bar and the service was terrible. Had to ask the waiter multiple times for a water, the steak came out tasting bland and had no flavor and kept having to ask for water. Feel like a steakhouse should be able to do better but obviously not.
We went for lunch before heading back to the airport for our flight. The ambiance is wonderful. Great for people staying at the Four Seasons or visiting 9/11 or World Trade Center. The cheeseburger was very good and the plate looked like a masterpiece. The service was wonderful.
Dinner and drinks were fantastic -always enjoy my experience .service was excellent -very helpful and extreme friendly -atmosphere , food and drinks were top notch .

Cut is the premier restaurant in the revitalized downtown. The selection of steaks ranks with the best in the city. Appetizers and sides are innovative.The service is 4 seasons quality like.
The atmosphere is classy Tribeca.

The restaurant is very quiet, great service and very intimate. I had the soft shell crab and it was prepared to perfection. A great respite after touring the 911 Memorial Museum.
