Cold and drafty for the lunch tables near the bar. Service was good but the food is really good. Loud tables of Wall Streeters make the ambience bad.
Was ok expected it to be great . Presentation was very poor for the main course , food was at varying temperatures . Not bad but expected more for the cost
Every dish was excellent. The steaks were truly outstanding. No disappointments. Maybe decor could use refresh. But that’s nitpicking.
Gave our dessert to the wrong table, then brought it to us after it sat with the other customers. Steak ordered medium well, came rare. Had to wait 25 minutes for our reserved table. Asked for a glass of ice, then had to ask a second time. Overall, pretty disappointing.
Newly married, my husband and I decided to come here to celebrate. The food was phenomenal, the service was amazing. The only disappointment we had was that we had noted on our reservation that we were coming there to celebrate because we just got married and they didn’t do anything special for us. I know it sounds a little bit extra, but for $350 that we spent we were hoping maybe a glass of champagne or a glass of wine on the house to celebrate our special evening. To add to that, the couple that got seated after us directly across from us got glasses of what looked like rosé on the house for their celebration.
My husband brought it up to the manager and she gave us some cookies to take home, but it did kind of put a slight damper on the night considering it’s a pretty big deal that we just got married a week ago and we wanted to spend our special celebration night there.
We will return but definitely not to celebrate anything special.
unfortunatley locaated in once of the worst hotel in the world
Amazing! Exquisite and oh so classy. From the walk into the door, you feel as though you’ve entered an underground lair where only the sexy, sophisticated people with a palate and appreciation for food that is artfully crafted as well as delicious and delightful is served! The service from the beginning to the end of our dining experience was top notch. The staff was over the top kind and attentive and was consistent in ensuring we felt like honored guests and they were delighted we joined their curated experience. And we were! The drinks we ordered had the cutest names - Show Me Love (which had Tito’s vodka, St. Germain and lime Yumm) and Peace on Earth which was a rum drink that looked so fun and amazing. My friend said it tasted like vacation in a glass. I started with the butter lettuce salad, which had the presentation of a flower and so much flavor, I could have ordered it twice. For dinner I had a delicious mushroom pasta dish that was soooo good! The noodles were made fresh in-house and you could tell. So flavorful. We also got a side of broccoli rabe - amazing!! And Mac and cheese that tasted home made. Omg. My friend ate Dry ridged ribeye and loved every bite! We also had a bonus - Wolfgang Puck himself was there and greeted us with a warm handshake and a beautiful smile! Bonus!! Oh and the desserts were AH-mazing! The cheesecake was light as air and creamy with the bananas and freshly made caramel sauce. Even a tiny flower on top - every detail had love in it. The homemade ‘snickers’ dessert was also so so good. I’m still smiling from this impeccable dining experience and I look forward to going back!
I was there for a business lunch and based on other tables, I would say most of the tables were also here in business lunch, we got seated quickly and served water and menus, no problem. The order took actually a lot of time about 20 minutes to arrive (simple steak frites, and CUT is a steak house), while I would not mine for diner, I feel for lunch it's also a lost opportunity for the restaurant. I would have really enjoyed taking a dessert but for lunch time, most of the guests are time conscious so I think the service should be faster.
The steak was good but nit exceptional.
My husband and I went there for the first time for our anniversary dinner and everything was incredible from the service to the drinks to the food, and dessert. George the manager truly makes his guests feel like family and even brought out a custom dessert tray for us that said Happy Anniversary with two glasses of Prosecco. It was a great, and fun night, and love the overall vibes of the place. I can't wait to go back again, for lunch or dinner!! A+ on hospitality, food, and service!! Thank you for a memorable dining experience!!
Food was delicious , service excellent !
Service was great, one steak was horrible but the other was good.
Family celebration for my 60th birthday. Fantastic appetizers—oysters, steak tartare. Steaks cooked to perfection—filet mignon and ribeye. Sides were great too—broccoli rabe, mac & cheese and potatoes. Desserts were delicious. Service was impeccable. This restaurant is one of the best steak houses in NYC.
The food was fantastic and the service was superb!
Good was outstanding. Interesting menu for a steakhouse. Nothing was “mailed in”. Superb hamachi and ceviche. Steaks had great seasonings. And desserts were terrific -very chocolaty!
Service was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. However it was extremely slow. Not “lack of staff” slow, but really slow. Just getting a second glass of wine took 10 minutes. Water was filled promptly and table was cleared and reset quickly. So I couldn’t figure out the pacing. However it was still an outstanding experience and the food more than made up for it. Better than expected!
Excellent, per always
Where do we start? This was one of the most amazing dinners in a long time. All from the apps such as the oysters and the salad to the steak and the desert. All was flawless. Our server, David was most attentive and made for an enjoyable evening. We will plan the again.
Celebration for my nephew having just
Passed the bar. Food was very good and we were seated in the Lounge area adjacent to a window so it was lovely. Service was impeccable. The photo is of a burrata cheese
And fig appetizer- to die for!
Outstanding food and service especially considering COVID. I would definitely recommend for a special occasion.
We had another extraordinarily delicious dinner, which included the Mexican street corn, oysters, and ribeye—one of the best steaks in NYC! The vibe of the restaurant is fantastic—an interesting and diverse crowd, cool background music, and a talented and friendly staff. This place always impresses me and my guests.
Food took 2 hours. Came out cold. The risotto was of the worst I’ve ever had but the filet was great. I’ve been here many times and I’m not sure why this time was so unpleasant. but it’s unlikely I’ll ever go back.
Exceptional dining experience. 100% recommended!!
Lovely lunch shared with a good friend. Great catch up time
The dining outside has zero ambiance. I let my server know our lunch was rushed, but it was exceptionally slow
I love everything I wish I remember the waiter me she was such a a sweet girl I was drunk
By far the best steakhouse in the city. Fantastic ambience and service, even better food.
One of the best restaurants in NYC!
Great food, service, and drinks. If your looking for a traditional steak/steakhouse I’d say you can find somewhere better. However overall experience and vibe is 5 stars.
Came to celebrate a birthday. Great ambiance and food; a little on the pricey side and I've had steaks just as good for cheaper. Enjoyed the service and would come back again, though!
Great food. Ok service.
Great service by matt
Stake was cold, overall great place, very impressed.
I am a huge fan of this restaurant. It’s where I take out- of-town guests, hard-to-please New Yorkers, my younger friends, and anyone else I am trying to impress. The food and service are top-notch, and my guests always appreciate the friendly and knowledgeable staff. On this visit, two of us had the ribeye and one guest had the salmon. All were perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. This place is a gem!
CUT by Wolfgang Puck is our favorite steakhouse. Every time we're in the city, we have to stop by CUT. The steaks are always perfectly done. The service is always excellent...from the hostess to the wait staff, to the sommelier... They do care about making our dinner very special.
I always get the Wagyu Miyazaki strip, and my wife always gets the filet... We are never disappointed. The quality is consistent over the many years that we've been coming here. The wine list is excellent, and quite reasonable in price. CUT is always on our dinner itinerary when we are in the city.
Get the most expensive dishes, otherwise you are missing the point of going here
Beautiful spot. Wonderful service. Delicious food.
Very expensive and noisy.
Executive Chef Ben and his team pulled out all of their tricks to make us feel like royalty for our anniversary celebration
Boomerang it’s good
From entering to exiting, the experience at CUT was top notch. It was a table of three and we all enjoyed the dinner and playlist!
