Avoid. This is the worst overall steak house in NYC.
It was great!
Went on a Saturday night with my wife.
Atmosphere was great, busy, but they didn’t shove you into tight tables.
David the wine Director was extremely good providing great insight into the wine selections. He listened to what we liked in wines and gave us an array of price points, not overselling.
Food was amazing as well. It isn’t cheap but you are going to a NYC steakhouse.
The food, service and ambiance here are spectacular. This is a great steakhouse that does not feel stuffy in the least bit. Prices are reasonable and steak is phenomenal.
Service STELLAR, atmosphere STELLAR, food OMG STELLAR. Celebrating my wife’s birthday we started with a table for 6 and it grew to 12. (We all squeezed in a huge round table for 6. The Cut was overly accommodating at all times. Our server treated our party with upmost professionalism and courtesy. Imagine people showing up one by one and your server still smiling !!
I can go on and on about the experience; Simply Stellar !! 5 stars. !!
The four of us totally loved the experience. It was the best food and service we have ever experienced. Absolutely delicious tasting and impecable service. Still a bit overpriced for overall value, but outstanding nonetheless. The ambiance and decor is also splendid. I recommend it for a great dinner experience.
I picked this restaurant for my husbands birthday because I love Wolfgang Puck and figured his restaurant would perfect. Our food was excellent. Ribeye and Mac and cheese. The wine list was good also. Not of the service was top notch. The ambiance was romantic and just perfect for the occasion. Staff. Paid attention to all of my special requests. I was very pleased.
Excellent steakhouse. Yes it’s a bit on the pricey side but the room is beautiful and the service is very good. I personally thought the sides were very small portioned. Cocktails were very good. Sommelier was outstanding.
It was an incredible dining experience, the food was really delicious and our waiter was very helpful and personable. And special treat Mr Puck came out to meet everyone. We keep talking about the amazing steak!
Great food. Weak service. Would have ordered more drinks but nobody asked, nor did anyone check to see how food was. Pretty disappointing considering the prices
We had a wonderful meal. It was the best steak I have ever had along with the special mustards and sauces. The beet salad was amazing. Unfortunately when we were all full, happy and relaxed the person beside us couldn’t stop complaining. Too much alcohol maybe but she would not shut up. They bent over backwards for her but I think they should have moved us so we wouldn’t have to hear her. It’s not CUT’s fault but it certainly put a damper on the evening.
Wonderful experience. Chef Puck came around to each table to introduce himself. Save room for desert, it’s amazing! Steak is wonderful here and so are the specialty drinks.
My wife and I had a wonderful time.
Celebrating my 25th wedding anniversary. The staff showered us with attention. Very nice.
Sexy, elegant eatery in Four Seasons hotel. Really good steak. Amazing cauliflower seasoned to perfection. Great drinks.
Service was the worst, Applebee’s has better service. Food was great besides the dessert.
Would definitely return as long as they get better workers, maybe there not taken care of idk.
Went as a group for a birthday and they were very nice and accommodating.
Perfect spot for a business breakfast. I had the salmon and avocado poached eggs and we shared the granola and both were fantastic. Also love the extensive tea selection. Our server was excellent and helped us get through breakfast in an hour since we were unfortunately in a rush.
Loved the prix fixe menu! Cuisine quality and visual pleasure of the plates are outstanding but portions are increfibly small!
Great food and service
Nice feel, nice decour. Food was very good. Waiters were friendly and attentive. However, I got there 5 minutes before my reserved time. The room was completely empty. I asked to sit at a table and tbey asked me to wait in the bar. WTF? Why cant you sit me at a table? Stupid process. They finally sat me, but I was annoyed.
Food was amazing. Service was excellent. The different types of fresh bread were a very nice touch.
I had made a reservation and my table was not ready when I arrived (due to slow guests ahead of me at that table). There was an additional 15 minute wait - which I did not mind too much - things happen - but I thought they should have comped me an extra drink or something. Then after being seated I realized there was no Restaurant Week menu at dinner time. So an appetizer (incredibly awesome beet salad), lamb chops (no side - just chops propped up against each other on a plate with a whipped mint sauce (interesting but thought they could have done better with a tzatziki style sauce) and a glass of wine (expensive but delicious) totaled way over my measly daily corporate budget. The lamb was very good, but as all red meat here, extremely over-priced. I ordered it to be cooked “medium” and I hope it arrived at the appropriate temperature while cooking... because the color, taste and texture really were barely hot enough for medium rare.
Had this dinner cost under &100 plus tip I would rate a five.
Service, food & ambiance perfection.
energetic dining with creative appetizers and amazing steaks and sides. also plenty for non steak lovers. bar bangs out great cocktails. all with a Tribeca vibe but 5 star service worthy of being housed in the 4 seasons
The food: I’ve always been a fan of Wolfgang Puck and his innovative cuisine. So I was really excited to try this restaurant. I was not disappointed. The Lunch Menu for Restaurant Week had some good choices. I had the steak sandwich, and my friend had the quail with ginger sauce. Both were absolutely delicious and flavorful. The flavors burst in your mouth, with your taste buds doing a happy dance. The butter lettuce salad was fresh, crispy, and tasty. And the Apple Crumble dessert was so amazing. There was hardly any talking happening between my friend and I when our food was being eaten. That’s a sign that it was that good.
The service: The service was great. They were very friendly and attentive. Things don’t come out like fast food, but this is fine dining. They value quality - even if it takes a few extra minutes. But I didn’t notice any long waits for food at all. I think the service did the namesake justice. Our waiter was awesome and so friendly. He, alone, made us want to come back again to eat.
I can’t wait to come back to CUT to eat again. Thank you Restaurant Week for giving me a sneak peek into this amazing place!
Worst meal ever. Bad fish that tasted like ammonia. Chef responded that Skate tastes like that. We all grew up by the Mediterranean Sea. We know a thing or 2 about good fish and bad fish! Does not even deserve the 1 star given for food
Dishes are perfectly cooked and perfectly spiced. Service is tops
Went here for Restaurant Week lunch. I had the tortellini (excellent), skate wing (excellent), and donuts (very good). Service was friendly but not very attentive. The place looks nice.
The service and food were 100% spot on. The GM runs a spectacular operation. It’s the best restaurant in TriBeCa.
Pretty great overall - a bit expensive, but the food was amazing.
CJ was an amazing server and steward of our experience. The food was great and the ambiance was lovely.
It is an expensive meal, but one absolutely worth it every once in a while.
Exceptional service at every point of contact, from the hostesses, waitresses and support staff... memorable bottles of wine and food. Thank you all.
The service was excellent from the front door to the table. We we were served by the greatest team. They were knowledgeable about the menu selections, ingredients and the wine. We plan to return soon.
The server was not very attentive, I actually had to look around for her a few times. We ordered the cheese platter were charged but didn't receive it.
Wagyu rib eye was amazing. Truffle fries overrated for $30. Smoke flavor in bacon of cauliflower carbonara and mushroom butter overwhelmed the palette and the delicacy of the wagyu beef. Underwhelmed for a $500 meal.
Very stylish but comfortable restaurant. Great food also
excellent restaurant, excellent meats and sides. Great service. overall pricy...
The lunch was delicious, specially the ravioli and the steak sandwich.
The service was friendly and attentive.
We will certainly be back.
Food was wonderful- really fantastic flavors. The service was exceptional very attentive but not over bearing.
Just went to CUT Saturday night to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. We loved everything about our evening...the service was outstanding and the food was delicious. Wish we had time to have more drinks at the bar... the bar was so beautiful.
