Curry Cafe serves up classic curry and tandoori barbecue in the heart of Northcote. Cold beer, spicy curry, and a very relaxed vibe we've been a staple for those who seeking a hot (medium or mild) time for over ten years.

We keep it simple and fresh, spices ground in house, naan straight from the tandoor and our curry as spicy as you like. The menu includes classic Indian staples like saag paneer, Goan fish curry, biriyani. Come Saturday lunch time we do something a little different with masala-spiced fried chicken paired with beer straight out the tap from some of Melbourne's favorite craft breweries.

Table wasn't ready for 20 minutes. Called when table was ready and made up for it in service and free mulled wine.

Had a fantastic dinner, the service was amazing (rare these days) our waiter had great knowledge of the menu, was relaxed and laid back and gave as excellent recommendations. Then food was served up pretty quickly and was truly flavourful and we ordered just the right amount. A rice dish, naan bread and two mains to share. It's BYO, we shared a nice bottle of red and the atmosphere suited us nicely. Thanks for the wonderful night gang!

Come here regularly after a movie. Good for a late night feed with good dietary options. Really enjoyed the in house made saag paneer !
