CURRENT KITCHEN AND COCKTAILS HAS CLOSED FOR THE SUMMER SEASON 2023

Current Kitchen & Cocktails is a coastal getaway, perfect for any occasion. The relaxed and welcoming atmosphere is family oriented, with indoor and outdoor seating. This playground for adults and children has an outdoor patio with hanging swings, a pond and large BBQ pit. Weekly musical artists add to the beachside BBQ feel of this restaurant. The large glass doors that open up onto the patio offer natural lighting, and gives an open feeling to the indoor seating in the main dining room. If you are looking for a more private setting, the restaurant also offers seating in several smaller rooms that give a more intimate space.

Ordered alcoholic drink that tasted like lime water. Must have had no alcohol in it. Food was good. Wait staff had no personality. Quiet room had a large party and was not quiet. Loves this restaurant previously but disappointed

We arrived and were seated at our table before the server informed us that the bar was closed..we should have been told that up front....wait staff was very young and inexperienced...we are regular Current customers, and were disappointed

Current is one of our favorite places! Last night, we had the beef jerky (a go-to every time for my husband) and sushi. In a previous visit, a server recommended the Mexican roll but substitute the asparagus for avocado and add cream cheese which we get every visit! Last night we had that, the Philly roll and the crispy tuna roll. Delicious!!

This is an outstanding place for a well prepared dinner with a friendly, upbeat vibe and attractive setting. We have been several times and will continue to go. This time we took friends/professional partners from Atlanta who have the world over and spend good deal of time enjoying great food from an international perspective. They were both outspoken in their compliments foe Current. There are many options for libations to accompany good food. We chose the Quiet Room over the Grand Room and had easy conversation throughout the evening, but if you enjoy a bit more "lively" atmosphere, it is available...and in an al fresco setting too!

Current offers great food at reasonable prices. Service is always good and people very fun and friendly. Offers indoor and outdoor seating for when the weather is pleasant. A perfect place for people on the islands when they want something more than bar food, mexican or pizza that is so prevalent in the area.
