Curious Cafe & Bar Norcino
The Curious Café opened in November 2014 and is located in the heart of Kelowna's cultural district. Since then, The Curious has been serving both quality interpretations of classic dishes and daring new ventures into the uncharted territories of food.
The Curious interior, designed by proprietor Luigi Coccaro and designer Rhonda Lebedoff, reflects the hip sensibilities urban area's while also paying tribute to Kelowna's storied past. Adding to the mystique of the setting is the location's history, as it used to be a run-down tobacco shop, now transformed into a warm hang out.
The multi-room restaurant offers the choice to eat comfortably on the café side where one may watch the art of cooking as it occurs in the open-kitchen room or sit on the community table side where 16 beers flow from our rotating taps.

I had the house made bagel with smoked salmon, creamed cheese and capers with an egg. It was heavenly. I was delightfully surprised by the pickled onions on my side of greens.

The curious is a great spot that I regularly visit. In this visit, I had 5 business associates visit from out of town, and wanted to have a great meal with great ambiance. Curious never lets me down!

Second time coming, great atmosphere. Foods pretty good too and the draft selection. Entertained my Sales Team here, all was very good. However when asking server her background and what brought her to Kelowna as a friendly interaction, the server unfortunately told us she had Covid previously and had to recover before coming to Kelowna and she's been in town for 3 weeks. Good intentions, but probably not the best conversation piece, especially while handing over the credit card terminal.
Absolutely loved sitting out on the patio! Great brunch - really enjoyed everything we had.
It was perfect!! Food was delicious , beers were good. Our server was really sweet and did a great job.

We had a table of 6 on the patio. Weather was perfect. Service was excellent and the food was very good. Some gluten free options but relatively limited for our celiac friend. Pizzas were great and the mac a cheese was amazing. Super rich. Highly recommend the lemon cheesecake. Light and lemony. Yum.
We chose to eat out back on their private patio. The food was great. We were able to relax and enjoy spending time with friends I hadn’t connected with in over 40 years 😲 - The service was great and we could hear each other talk which was so important.

Place for young people, not a family restaurant. Very limited menu. staff almost seemed knew, nothing above and beyond by the staff. Mac n cheese was good, fries were good but over priced. Pizza was good almost wished it had something more, felt like something. Was missing. We will not be back.

The service was not very good. Took 40 mins to get our first glass of water.
Now, that being said. Our waitress was on her first day. But during a dinner “rush” being the only server, this in my opinion is managements fault on poor planning. The cooks had to start serving food to help her out while the bar tender didn’t do much to help and was a little dismissive when we asked about our waters or menus etc.
if they can fix the service glitch there food is TOTALLY worth it

Curious cafe has always been one of my favourite restaurants for breakfast lunch and dinner. I was happily surprised by the selection of non alcoholic drinks as I’m pregnant and was celebrating my 30th! Gin and tonics, Prosecco, pale ales and more all non alcocholic! Blew me away. So great guys! I will be coming back lots in my pregnancy and afterwards.
So happy to be able to eat out again. Our server was wonderful, very professional, joyful, and calm. Hand sanitizer readily available. Food was amazing. DJ was a terrific, energetic added touch; loved it!! Thanks so much. We will see you again soon.
It was busy and loud (ish) (not too loud) a great ambience for dining. (That how I know a place is good, if it's busy and lively)
Saturday night before a Rockets game and they had a short beer list. Some of the beers noted on the list were out.

The restaurant was very inviting atmosphere with friendly greetings by the staff. The food was excellent and well presented. Recommend and will return.
The feel of the place is nice but it was very loud And hard go hear with being at a community table.
I ordered the meat locker. It had a good selection of meat but from the description I was expecting other things. There were three tiny pieces of Brie and no pickles or anything else.
