We were pleasantly surprised by the food, service, staff knowledge of the food and wine. It was so nice to be in a restaurant and not have to shout to talk with each other. This is a gem in the Woodlands.
Little noisy as we sat next to the sliding doors adjoining folks next door.. not a big deal.. Food, service, experience was terrific!
Need option for slightly heavier pours.. perhaps the 70.00 additional to serve one additional ounce each , especially the reds! Thanks for a great evening!

The best word to describe the Cureight experience is PERFECT. The food — the wine pairings — the service (thank you Adam!). Chef Austin Simmons’ vision has matured and evolved beautifully and simply cannot be missed.
I booked the reservation to celebrate my husbands birthday. The food was out of this world! We loved every course. The attention to detail and flavors were top notch. This is a gem for The Woodlands area for sure. We will definitely be back!!

Incredible experience at Cureight! Chef endeavors to create the perfect bite, and accomplishes this feat repeatedly over the eight courses. Wow! And Adam is an incredibly knowledgeable guide for the journey!
Birthday dinner for 2. Oh my goodness!! Sooo very good. Talented chefs Just phenomenal. Especially loved the wagyu. Each course just got better and better which I didn’t think possible.
Our favorite way to dine, a multi-course chef tasting menu. From start to finish the experience was outstanding, Claudia delivered some of the most knowledgeable and professional service we have ever encountered. Eight courses of generous sized tasting portions, I had to scale back a few courses to have room to experience all eight. We opted for the wine pairings and even though it may seem pricey to add another $70 to the $125 food price, when you consider what a good bottle of wine will cost, it really is worth the money and the pours were generous. With that being said, due to the fact we are pretty much exclusively red wine drinkers, we almost opted not to pair, but so glad we did because the wines they chose (even the whites) went deliciously perfect with each course.
If you are an open minded diner that doesn’t mind paying for an extraordinary fine dining experience, I recommend trying this for a nice evening out.
As usual everything was fantastic. Chef Austin’s creations and wine pairings are top notch. The staff is knowledgeable and provide that just right amount of attention. My only suggestion is to upgrade the stemware. When spending $7-$800 dollars on dinner for two the wine glasses should be fine crystal. Certainly a small nit and it would not keep me from coming back to one of my favorite restaurants.
Once inside Cureight the service is THE BEST. The food left me speechless. Flavors I have never experienced before.

Our experience at Cureight was top-notch. The food was amazingly creative and perfectly cooked. We did not do the wine pairings, but they were happy to recommend a bottle of wine and to provide a cocktail menu for our table of 4. The service was on par with many restaurants with Michelin stars to their name (Michelin doesn't come to Houston). We will continue to come back to see how their menu changes over the months and years!
Have had other chefs table and cureited style menus and this is easily top three of all time. Totally impressed with the food, service, ambience, and we can’t wait to come again.
A great dining experience ! Each course was unique and the wine pairings worked very well. Favorites included the lobster, truffle grilled cheese sandwich, the blue crab ravioli and king crab, and the Akaushi beef with the uni custard ... but every dish tasted great. The service was just about perfect, and it was fun watching each dish being finished and plated, and then served just seconds later. Following the meal, we had a nice chat with Chef about the dishes, pairings, the restaurant, and food in general. Although not inexpensive, we felt it rivaled some of the finest dining we've experienced and presented a reasonable value.
Cureight is an incredible experience any foodie will value. Food, service, presentation and setting are all 5 stars! Highly recommend!

Good experience. Not something you’d expect in the Woodlands.
We did the full meal with wine pairings, and an additional truffle and grilled cheese course. Despite the scary sounding nine courses we therefore consumed, it was just the right amount, and the wine pairings truly enhanced the meal. The food was beautifully presented and well crafted. Particular standouts were the amuse Bouche of parsnip and turnip velouté, and the venison. I will definitely be back. The calm atmosphere was welcome so we could hold a genuine conversation.
In short: Absolutely EXCELLENT food, small portions, very EXPENSIVE.
This is an 8-course tasting experience and that is very important to remember because it explains the small portions. I did not, however, feel hungry when the meal experience was complete.
Beyond the $125 base price for the meal, we were also presented with an $80 wine pairing option and a $35 Kobe beef (reportedly specially ordered by the chef and flown in from Japan). The four of us in the party opted for both of the additions because why not, it's an experience and we weren't going to be doing that again soon, at those price points. This did bring the final price for the table to $1,042 (with no added gratuity) before tip.
Was the experience worth it (the price)? Well, yes and no.
First, the food: Each course was absolutely excellent, and I cannot stress that enough. Most of our party had never eaten many of the types of foods that ended up being served that evening, yet, with rare exception, they thoroughly enjoyed each of them. The exception being the somewhat fishy flavor of the orange roe that was served over one of the half-shell oysters. I have eaten oysters many times and found the flavors, here, to be phenominal. The duck was by far the best I'd ever had and the very small Kobe beef portion was nothing less than perfect. All of the courses were very nicely plated and everything on each plate had a specific purpose to enhance that course. I also found the development of each course to be quite creative, interesting, and set-apart from any other meal I had ever had.
Second, the wine: Each of the 8 courses were preceded by a different glass of wine that was purposed to match with the upcoming course. For the most part, we found each of the wines to be tasty but they seemed to be moderate to good in quality.
Last, the ambiance: nice quiet atmosphere but halfway through, the fire alarm went off for the building and it took them about 20 minutes to turn it off. It was annoying.
Wow. It's all I can say about our experience at Cureight. Food was delicious, every course was amazing and we struggled to decide which was our favorite. Though their oyster and pearl was one of my favorite ways to start this meal.
Can't wait to find another special occasion excuse to go back.
I especially love a fixed menu because you know that someone’s heart, passion and creativity went into it. Our experience at Cureight was exceptional!!! I can’t tell you how rewarding the whole experience was from beginning to end. This Team is top notch. Every single dish was a pallet pleaser! The wine pairing was perfect, and well thought out. I loved being able to watch the team at work. You could tell they find pleasure in the joy of others enjoying each dish. I can’t say enough about the quality, uniqueness, and delicious taste that each dish delivered. This meal is my favorite of any to date. When I think of amazing food Cureight will be first to come to mind. The chef who created these dishes is a genius and he’s lucky to have a great team who can deliver! ❤️

We were celebrating our 35th anniversary and really enjoyed the entire evening. Most of the items on the menu were not things we had eaten before and we liked all of them very much. The wine pairings were perfect, the staff were all very friendly and informative. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to others for many reasons and look forward to going back soon.
Awesome experience. Wanted to try something different for our anniversary and the decision didn't disappoint. The food was amazing, portions of each tasting were perfect, very relaxing, quiet enough for a conversation and service was top notch. It was a well performed production that we look forward to repeating.
The food was excellent. The A5 wagyu beef replacement is an absolute must, I've never had beef so perfectly prepared. The overall experience was what I expected and was worth a sit down.
Dramatically overpriced. The ambition of the concept was appreciated, but if they are aiming for ‘high-end’ dining then they need to go back to the drawing board.
It was a pleasure to have a culinary experience at Cureight yesterday with my friend. We were both highly satisfied after leaving the restaurant.
I RSVP'd through OpenTable, and left my default request of a booth, if possible, in the RSVP. It was a mistake. To avoid several calls confirming your RSVP, a note for future goers: Cureight only has tables.
But otherwise, the experience after the host stand was smooth and very professional. We were greeted by the manager, who walked us to the hideaway room and led us pick which table we would like (since we were the first guests to arrive). Adam then introduced himself as our server and began explaining the two optional items of the menu (wine pairing or upgrade the sirloin to Wagyu--which I think was a fair and common options to offer). We did the Wagyu, but opted for cocktails instead.
Overall, I love most of the menu offerings for the day, though I think there are certain complimentary choices that could be improved to better enhance the proteins. My favorite dishes include the Octopus, Duck, Wagyu, and Chocolate. I would definitely go back to try a different featured menu, I wonder when it will be!
Probably one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Our waiter Adam did a phenomenal job with the service. The food and wine pairings were excellent. Chef Simmons came by and chatted with us for a few minutes after our meal, which allowed us a brief moment to ask questions about what he had made and his inspiration. Everything was very well prepared and spaced appropriately so that we had time to enjoy our food, but with just the right amount of pause between dishes.
All-in-All, Cureight is a great tasting menu experience we have not seen anywhere else in The Woodlands. We will definitely be back with our like-minded food friends. This is one of the few times where we talked about dinner for days after we ate it.
We had a 7-course menu, originally scheduled as a 6-course, but we got an extra treat. It was good, my husband noted that previous NYE menus were better, and I agree with that. I was looking forward to the fois gras, but this year's dish wasn't a stand out like it was in the past. The waiter never asked us if we needed additional cocktails once we finished our cocktail about 2/3 of the way into the menu, so we were left drinking water. We could have asked, but that's not the point. We still love this place and will return. I thought I had made a reservation for the Bistro NYE menu, but realized I reserved Cureight and there were no reservations available to change it through OpenTable. First experience with Cureight.
It's hard to describe Cureight, but I guess the word perfection would have to suffice. Chef Simmons delivers an amazing culinary experience that rivals the best in the U.S. (think French Laundry). It is simply not to be missed.

This was the best true "fine dining" experience in The Woodlands area, and certainly one of the best I've had anywhere. While not all of the courses were my particular taste, they were all done exceptionally well, and most of them were amazing. Great environs, exceptional service (Adam and Claudia!). The waitstaff know the food and wine they are serving you. We will return soon!
The dinner we had was awesome. We have driven to Pass and Provisions several times for special celebrations but we will no longer be making the drive. Cureight was better in my opinion and it is so close to home. It is worth leaving Houston to come to The Woodlands for dinner.
