First time diners to this new restaurant at Old Orchard which offered a variety of dinner choices. We enjoyed the meals, however our experience was dampened when my husband ordered an ice tea and later requested a refill to be told refills are not free. It’s 4.50 for ice tea. We asked the waitress if she would consider a free refill as a courtesy to us considering it’s our first time here and that we would add more to her tip. She kindly replied she could not. We have only experienced this refill charge once in our years at an upscale restaurant in New York City. We did mention this to the manager and he was not willing to change this service for us claiming that they use “an expensive tea” which prohibits free refills.

Visiting from out of town and met up with my family that I’ve not seen in a while. I was looking forward to a nice meal to catch up. The food was good, though this side salad a little missing of anything but lettuce. But my main complaint was the service we received from our server who had a bit of an attitude and was condescending. He seemed disappointed that we didn’t order multiple beverages. I know I said, please and thank you more times that were necessary, but in return received the worst service that I’ve gotten in a long time. Very disappointed and will not return.

My second time trying their night menu and wow just as good as the first time! I ordered the Mediterranean Salad again because it was so delicious the first time that I had to order it again. For my entree I went with the Steak & Frites. The steak was so tender and full of flavor. The drinks were also so good. Of course I will return. Cupitol will always be my favorite!

Round two at Cupitol last night. The owners were welcoming and recommended the Braised Lamb Shank. The most tender Lamb shank I’ve ever experienced. It was accompanied by whipped potatoes in a Bordelaise sauce. We also revisited the fabulous Pancherri Pasticio and Mediterranean salad that my friend recommended. Definitely add some extra Greek Feta mouse to the salad! Both were as good as my last review. We finished with the Key-lime tort cheese cake. The key-lime flavor really pops and caps and exceptional meal. This is a great spot to take your significant other. It’s a warm setting with neutral colors and a crisp/fresh feel.

Cupitol Old Orchard knocked it out of the park last night! I started with the bone broth chicken soup. It was complex, rich and perfectly seasoned. We followed it with a refreshing Mediterranean salad. Again, a winner that was chilled and perfectly dressed. Cucumbers were cubed and the seasonal tomatoes were a delightful texture. The star of the show was Cupitol’s Greek feta mouse in the salad! Omg!!!! More please! The main course was their Paccheri Pasticio! A spectacular array of flavors and texture. This dish has so much to offer! Al dente pasta in an amazing Tarrgon sauce. Accompanied by savory black angus shredded beef. A creamy aged parmigiano reggiano kisses the top of the dish for an explosion of flavor in every bite. Service is top notch from the staff to the owner mingling and engaging clientele. This sincerely is the best meal I’ve ever had at a Greek restaurant! Bravo! We can’t wait to review other dishes! Although it will be difficult to not order the Paccheri Pasticio!

Wonderful service. Comfortable seating. Great atmosphere to catch up with friends. I enjoyed my chicken sandwich and Basque cheesecake.
