We went there for dinner before a show at the Orpheum. The service was friendly and the food was very tasty.
Delicious food, excellent food, good prices. Parking in lot next door is expensive. Look for street parking. Overall I recommend it highly.
Downtown sucks overall so I’m bias about it. The place is easy to find and there is a parking lot next door but it’s $20.00 to park so be warned. The place is clean but very old like all the buildings in downtown.
What I didn’t like is that they would NOT make separate checks. We were a big group of 12 and we needed 5 separate checks but the manager refused to do it and that we had to figure to different totals ourselves. That bad attitude from the manager embarrassed me in front of my clients (I was the one who suggested this place) and I had to spend 30 min trying to figure out the stupid bill.
Not what I expected, while there is a restaurant, it seems like more of a takeout place.
This is a wonderful restaurant for one reason, his name is HIGINIO. We have never been to a restaurant, where someone really cares about you having a great experience. HIGINIO is attentive, he makes excellent recommendations, and will work with the kitchen to make sure you get what you want and how you want it. For this reason alone it is truly worth going to this place, just to be served by HIGINIO!
Called ahead to advise we were running a few minutes late and they seemed to either not know about our reservation or even care that we had one. Get there and the host/waiter was going to seat us at a table right by the door on a rather cold night (we opted for the bar instead) - and THIS is because they had also booked effectively the entire restaurant for a party thus pretty much wiping out our reservation.
My chicken parmesan took FOREVER to come out - and was lukewarm at best when it did materialize, and if it wasn't for the sauce I am sure the pasta would have been cold as well. My wife's salad came out without dressing and when we asked another server for some she just disappeared. Overall shoddy and snotty service. Will never return.
the ravioli was terrible. the waiter was fantastic and the lasagna was great
Disappointing darkish restaurant with uninteresting decor. Appreciated it being open at 4pm for matinee dining but it was dead city there. Food was great but atmosphere is also important.
Food was good only one waiter so service a little slow. Price was reasonable. Would recommend if not in a hurry for dinner.
The food was delicious and a price performer! They were out of some menu items but still had a super large variety of things to choose from. Would definitely return.
Open taxable booked my dinner reservation even though the dining room was closed for a private party. We ended up having to eat in the bar and service was compromised as a result.
The service was rude and abrupt. Food was good but the experience was quite negative.
Loved it! Kind of a NYC vibe. Nice place for a meal after work on a Tuesday evening. Casual dining done right. I enjoyed THE most delicious gnocchi with pesto. Will definitely come back for more.
I wanted to eat Italian and have a pleasant dining experience, which I did!
Watched my Lakers 💜💛🏀 play!
Nice COLD BEER! In chilled glass!
We arrived after 9 PM on a Monday, so the place was nearly empty, but the food was delicious and priced reasonably. Definitely recommend.
The food was delicious & the staff was great!
I went on a Friday at 8pm and it was pretty empty, but the staff wasn't overbearing or anything.
The appetizers are delicious! We ordered the bruschetta and the cheese bread.
The entrees are great too! We had the ravioli & the fettuccine alfredo. They were both delicious.
I'd recommend this place for date night or bigger groups.
Very nice and the food was awesome
I came here for a special occasion. I was meeting my in laws for the first time. The restaurant was perfect for a quiet conversation and Our waiter was great! very attentive! However, the food was far from great! We ordered seared tuna and it was overcooked and so dry! just not eatable! We don't usually complain but we were hungry! Our waiter suggested another plate, which we ended up ordering. The other plates ordered were not that good either! I guess the only plate that we all liked was the margarita pizza!
This place does a brisk takeout business but there was only other table sat when we arrived for our 8pm Friday night reservation.
Great food and the proportions were good for the price. I loved the atmosphere.
A simple and straightforward Italian restaurant in the fashion district downtown, serving very hearty and flavorful favorites. I had a perfectly seasoned and healthy cup of vegetable soup and a rich and delicious eggplant parmigiana over spaghetti. Service is friendly and attentive.
Food was very good! Good thing we were not in a hurry! There was only one waiter for the entire restaurant, so we had to wait quite a while to even get a refill on our water or for anything that we asked for.
