Happy Hour Monday through Friday 5-7pm
We have had dinner here many times over the last few years and mostly been very satisfied.
Our recent meal here was average in flavor. Scallops over duck risotto was not a great combination. Big disappointment for a very special occasion dinner. At $32 for a small plate (four scallops over a mound of risotto), I would have expected a stellar meal! Service was OK. Server was lukewarm at best.
We might give the place another chance. Hoping the previous standards are met next time!
The food was good, but the service was incredibly slow. We waited a long time for every step of the meal (water, drinks, bread, and each course). We only ordered burgers or prix fixe menu items but ended up spending nearly 3 hours there because we had to wait so long between each step of the meal. At least 45 minutes passed between finishing appetizers and the main entree coming out. The waiter was apologetic, but honestly I doubt I will go back.
Awesome place, great and beautiful setting, delicious food 😋
The food was fair, we had a $20 pizza that was just OK and the rockfish was bland. Also, The hostess told Open Table we never showed up which was annoying.
Our server seemed put off by serving us. One in our party arrived late and wasn’t offered the specials or asked if she wanted a drink. We pretty much fended for ourselves. The manager who stopped by was so much nicer. When we left, one of us discovered she’d been charged correctly, then the charge was reversed, then recharged at triple the amount. It made no sense at all. The food was pricey for the lack of attention and inaccuracies.
The Seared Scallops were to die for! Best scallops I’ve ever eaten! My husband loved the Jerk Duck too. This place is a gem!
Make 1/2 price wine everyday
This was a return visit for the Mothers Day brunch buffet. The options offered were plentiful and ranged from two types of salad to benedicts, pizza, and beef tenderloin. There were over 6 desserts presented. Very pleased with the selections. Service was impeccable.
We had reservations for a Mother's Day Dinner Buffet (5/12) at 7pm. Many items in the buffet seemed like leftovers from the noon Lunch Buffet/ Brunch. The salad greens were wilted, the cut "fresh" fruit were obviously sliced many hours earlier, and were turning a brownish color, the sliced strawberries in the salad were faded, and soft. In addition the salads were depleted quickly, and not replenished. The "hot" items in the chafing dishes were semi-cold or cold. The dessert comprised small pastries, and breakfast danishes which indicated they had been left out all day. Cant understand why the restaurant did not remove the danishes which is not a dinner item? The cost of the buffet was $40 - the same as the lunch buffet, despite the poor quality of the food. Very disappointing, and a complete rip-off for a restaurant that prides itself in the high quality cuisine.
The Mother’s Day brunch was very nice. I will dine there again to try their regular menu.
Mother’s Day Brunch. I made reservations without knowing that this would be a buffet brunch set-up. I am not a fan of all you can eat buffets, as I am typically full at 1 serving. And -for me -the quality of the food and the ‘dining out’ experience are diminished by a buffet format. The ‘hot’ food was lukewarm &/or over-cooked, salads were over-dressed/wilted.
My husband & I really enjoy Cunningham’s for “everyday dining” & will continue to come back for the regular menu & service.
My mother's favorite place to go. She's never disappointed. The buffet was a wonderful idea.
Mother’s Day brunch was excellent! Cunningham’s never disappoints.
Our server was so sweet! Had an amazing experience. Really enjoyable.
The food was outstanding except for the Jerk Duck which was disappointingly bland. Our server (a female Towson student studying Marketing) was charming, polite, and well informed. She is an asset to Cunningham's.
Good food, lovely service, great wine list. Too noisy to hear the people at our table of 5.
Great service from the waiter Samantha who was accommodating with our food allergies.
This is one our favorite restaurants to celebrate special occasions! We’ve celebrated birthdays, anniversaries and graduations here over the past year. The atmosphere is beautiful, service is friendly and the food is great. The menu also changes from time to time which has given me a chance to try some new things. This is definitely a great spot and worth a try!
Great food and our waiter, David, was amazing!
Appetizers were delicious and unusual. Three of our four entrees were terrific; the fourth, a lamb dish, was fatty and stringy. The vegetable sides were very tasty. Desserts were unique and quickly devoured. Our server was very accommodating and moved our table to a quieter corner due to a large (somewhat boisterous) party.
Lovely restaurant with excellent food. We had group members with gluten-free requirement and one vegetarian, and the server and kitchen were able to accommodate with a special menu and requests. Service was excellent and unrushed. The ambient noise level was a bit high- had to raise voices a bit to be heard around the table.
Cunningham ‘s misses the mark this time. The Charcuterie app was just flavorless meat and nothing else. The rockfish special was very small. ( think deck of card) it was tasty but the farro was runny. It was good but not great. I do like Cunningham’s they may have just had an off night
Everything was amazing. Bartenders did a great job in handling our section, and the food was amazing. Would definitely come back to their dog friendly patio. 10/10 a Towson gem
Our server John Michael was excellent! He was very professional and friendly, he was attentive without being overbearing.
The food was excellent. I was talking about how good the cauliflower pilaf was and next thing I knew John Michael got the recipe for me.
Great experience! Will definitely return.
I attended for Easter Brunch and the food selection was delicious from crab cakes to spinach salad to a wide selection of pastries! And the mimosas were a very generous pour! Wonderful experience all around! I can’t wait to go back again!
A disappointment. Chef’s rendition of spatzel and duck breast turned into a soup with a sauce not quite a presentation one would expect with the two. Duck was tough. Spatzel Soupy. My husband’s shrimp and grits were a slap in the face to anyone from the south. Something so simple turned into a soup. Over sauced. It really is not complicated , it needs to be resolved internally. Who approved these plates to leave the kitchen?
Love Cunningham's. Have had several fantastic meals here.
Went on a very not busy night. Food was great, but wouldn't order the crab cake again, too much back fin not enough jumbo lump.
I would give the food 3-1/2 stars but Open Table doesn’t have 1/2 star. For starters, we had the charcuterie tray and cornmeal fried oysters. They were good but not great. I actually liked the slab pork belly under the oysters more than the oysters. For entrees, my husband had the rockfish special of the day and I had the seared tuna with pork & shrimp dumplings. They were ok. I liked the dumplings. The tuna didn’t have much of a taste. For dessert, we had the homemade ice cream and there were quite good. We like our 2nd drinks, the Lutherville. Our waitress, Brianna, was very nice and helpful.
Very impressed with this restaurant. Our server was top notch. The menu was well crafted and the quality of our food was makedly excellent.
Will go again and order the rock fish. Waiter was very polite and ambience inviting
I ordered the whole branzino, which was supposed to have been de-boned and kept having to spit out bones so I would not get that again. Also this is not the place for quiet conversation as the noise level was very high. The appetizers and wine list were quite good.
I really did not like the menu. There was not much for me to eat except pizza or crab cakes. I don’t eat red meat.
I don’t eat pork.
Food was great and Ron did an excellent job as our waiter!!
The food was too salty. My husband and I both felt sick afterwards
👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 we had a great time
Cunningham's is our go-to dining experience. The food is excellent and the service is always on point.
Food was excellent, though we had an issue with our appetizers not being put in first.
