The food, drinks, and service were good. My husband and I both liked our dishes. We think the reason the restaurant is so empty is because of its location and the exterior doesn't even look like the restaurant is opened. We would go back again to try other dishes.

We read a review that said reservations were recommended on a weekend, but it was "worth the wait" if you did not have a reservation. So I made a reservation for Saturday, 6:45 PM, 4 guests. The place was empty. We sat on the bar side. There were 4 people sitting at the bar, and the 4 of us in a booth. The main dining room may have had one table occupied. The food was edible, but nothing special. Probably will not return any time soon for dinner. The bar was okay and bartender was nice. She made a really good Manhattan! The drink prices were very reasonable. There is a pool table, jukebox that sounded pretty good (almost live-sounding), and 2 big screen TVs over the bar. Edit on Apr. 24, 2017: Since writing this review, the restaurant CLOSED its doors!

We had lunch at Cultural Catch, it was a great experience. With different choices on the menu from all over Asia, surprised how they manage quality outcome with different cuisines from India, Thai, Middle east and so on. We had the kebabs and Thai curries, it was very authentic and we asked the server to adjust the spices for the group, it was absolutely well managed. The prices are very reasonable and one can have 3 course lunch for just $10 or select from menu individual items for just $6 to $8...The decor is very good and nice stage for live events. The service is great and the chef came out to meet us which was very nice. Finally, we have a great Asian cuisine restaurant in Grapevine that also has some great Indian dishes, something we were missing and had to travel far for such type of food. Highly recommend this place to be tried and you can certainly enjoy. I have to try their dinner especially on the weekend with live music, something not usual in Grapevine. Well done Cultural Catch, keep it up.

Generally this was a disappointment, we won't go back. It isn't worth the10 mile drive. Hostess seemed confused about reservation when we arrived. Food was over cooked and under seasoned. I had mixed grill and it was bland.

Finally, we managed to find a quality Asian restaurant in Grapevine. The food and presentation is very nice and service is very friendly. We tried the Thai dishes and Indian food as well. Chicken Teriyaki, Orange Chicken and Singaporean pork ribs, these are awesome selection of dishes. We always wondered how they can have food from so many countries. they are absolutely fabulous. This place needs more people and lucky to have a nice Asian restaurant in Grapevine, let us grab this opportunity and we will certainly be regulars here.

This restaurant has unique concept with differents dishes from all over Asia. I was surprised to find Pork ribs from Singapore and Vietnamese dishes. The owner came amd gave us a good brief and see this place really becoming popular in grapevine as we have very less Asian restaurants. The food is very and loved their bat, a cool place to hang around. We also enjoyed Trivia amd were told about live music every weekend. The service staff is very attentive and take good care. Try out chicken tikka and kebabs. Highly recommend this place for private parties and relaxing dinner.

I am excited to have a truly Asian cuisine in grapevine. The food here is authentic and really good quality. I tried their thai, malaysian, Indian and chinese dishes. The Thai red curry was excellent and the best chicken tikka we ever had before. The staff is very friendly and took good care of us. If you like to try different cuisines from Asia and have a great time with nice cocktails then go and visit cultural catch. They also several live events and great ambiance to make it overall a great experience.

Service. Was excellent. However we were the only people in the restaurant. Another couple came in about the time we were leaving. Food was poor. Rice was mushy.

Facility was a Boston Pizza and Cultural Catch has not changed the facility very much, so this feels more like a pizza place than a seafood restaurant. That, and the cornbread, were the only disappointments. As fans of cajun cooking we decided to go cajun. My wife (Louisiana born and raised) had a bowl of gumbo with cornbread for her dinner. The cornbread should be left on the plate, in the future my wife will bring her own until they change the recipe. The gumbo was excellent! I had blackened swordfish over jambalaya, a combination I never had before but one I will get again, and again. The presentation was excellent, swordfish cooked to perfection. I am a jambalaya fan and this was the best I've had in TX, though I may have been biased because combined with the swordfish this was an outstanding meal. We did not have dessert as we are not dessert eaters. Our server was excellent. We asked to speak to the Chef and he and my wife compared their Louisiana backgrounds as well as their gumbo and jambalaya recipes....including their secret ingredients for both dishes. We also spoke to the owner/manager about what we perceive to be the plusses and minuses of the restaurant. After a great dinner we were more accepting of the pizza place interior, but this interior is something to be overlooked rather than enjoyed. An interior overhaul consistent with their Cultural Catch theme could make this place a real winner. We will return to Cultural Catch to sample other entrees as we both want to sample other entrees to see if they can come close to out first meal.

Went for dinner on Sunday, the staff was very welcoming and dedicated to taking good care. The Chef came to our table and recommended some nice fresh seafood. The shrimp and grits and we also have specials from South america. Apparently they have specials from a different country every month. Best seafood that I have tasted in US.

It was an excellent dinner, completely surprised by the great food and service. The staff was very nice and I was surprised by the great concept. They have changing menu every month and this month they had south American seafood specials. There was also live music and the bar is a great place to hang around . Definitely will be back to taste the great seafood dishes

The staff was very friendly. The food was fresh and cooked from scratch. Had the gumbo and shrimp and grits. This is one of the best gumbo I have ever had and loved the flavors in the shrimp. Pretty good concept to celebrate one country every month and apparently they are next in South America, will definitely try them again. Also had the opportunity to sit in the bar, it is great place to hang around and the bar tender was very nice.

First thing the restaurant staff were well aware about my reservation. We were a party of 4 and sat down in the dining area then moved later to the lounge. The food was fresh and very tasty. I am a big seafood fan and this place has the best quality seafood, tried the calamari and crab cakes, then ordered fresh Lobster. They run theme food from different countries and was fortunate to find that they were having French and Italian theme this month. Then we all moved to the bar lounge which is very nice and we enjoyed the cocktails and there are different things to do in the lounge to hang around. The staff was very friendly. The patio is nice and has also activity like darts. This is the favorite seafood place for us and we will definitely be back.

Our dining experience at Cultural Catch was very disappointing. I was in a party of two, and we we the only people in the restaurant on a Saturday night at 7:30pm, which was not a good sign. (There were a few people in the bar). The Moscow Mule cocktail was refreshing. Although the service was good and the server was friendly, the food was terrible. The appetizer of calamari was ok, but it was in tiny pieces, less than bite-size. The Ceasar Salad was drenched in dressing, and was not Romaine Lettuce. The entree, a mixture of fried catfish, shrimp and oysters with french fries was very fishy. All of the food was very greasy and tasted like the grease was old and stale. I could not eat the food. The cole slaw on the side was insipid. We won't return to eat at Cultural Catch, and I predict a grim future for this restaurant.
