A unique and enjoyable experience. Visited with a group of 6, we went with the Bacchanal experience... food was great and varied (too much of it thought). The beers served with the meal were great, but we ended up ordering another one each. All in all an excellent value and fun unique and delicious eveing
Absolutely fantastic start to finish
This is my third time dining at Cultura. I love the atmosphere, the service is lovely, and the bartenders there make some of the best cocktails in town. Our small plates were absolutely phenomenal, particularly the winter salad. My seafood entree, however, was a bit disappointing. It was flavorful but nothing to die for, and I found the portion to be very small for the price. With that said, I think I'm going to be sticking to small plates in the future. Though I may try some of the other "group dishes" such as the fondue, ribs or crabs. People seem to really enjoy those.
Place is awesome. No other way to put it. Great food great cocktails. And service is top notch.
This restaurant has an interesting concept with small plates and feasts. we had a cheese fondue feast which was quite good actually. Had a lot of grilled vegetables to dip in the cheese. But we also had the rib feast and that was more than a little of a disappointment. The ribs were not fully rendered and they committed the cardinal sin of not removing the membrane from the back of the baby backs before cooking them. I'm sorry but for a place in North Carolina to cook ribs without removing the membrane is just malpractice.
Worth a try for the other options.
Menu is very unique. Staff is very responsive and very customer oriented. Had a great meal, good wine list. Parking is a real issue in that part of town.
Amazing addition to the Asheville culinary scene. These folks are crushing it—a real competitor to Curate. Adventurous and plentiful food at a shocking low price. Party of 4 and we were all blown away. Waiter was also perfect. Wine selection is creative and interesting and reasonably priced. But the food is the featured attraction. Chef really is offering something special.
Phenomenal service and food!
Simply phenomenal—made me look great for selecting it for a business dinner!
We ordered the Brussels salad and the country club. The food was absolutely amazing and great portions for 2 people. We couldn’t even finish the county club, had to bring it home! It was my boyfriend’s birthday dinner and as soon as we walked in they gave us drinks and surprised him with a dessert. The service was on point and we didn’t feel rushed with courses. We’ll definitely go back and hope to sit at the booth inside the barrel :)
Lovely setting and the food was outstanding.
Everything at the restaurant was exceptional during our visit. We had a reservation and we’re seated immediately our server attended to us regularly and the food was very goodp
Hands down, the best flavors in every dish.
We sat in a barrel which was so much fun. This was a dinner to linger and talk with friends. Tried new things and had comforting familiar foods as well. Definitely a splurge but it was a great experience.
The venue is beautiful. The seats were very uncomfortable. The menu was limited and the food overpriced.
We loved the upbeat vibe of the restaurant. Ordered one of their special feasts. The food was excellent, but too much for our party of 4. Will order off the menu next time. Desserts were incredible, and the overall favorite was the gluten free chocolate tart. Fun end to the meal with cotton candy. Wonderful place for a special occasion!
Amazing!!! The food was so good and different!
The team at Cultura was amazing! So welcoming to my fiancé and I. We did the chef’s tasting menu and while it was $80 per person it was WELL worth it! The courses were timed perfectly and were continually evolving in taste and flavors, most of which had some sort of fermented or cultured element to them. Everything was delicious but the stand out were certainly the Koji Cured Venison, Koji Water Mushroom Pasta, the Pineapple dessert 🤤 and the CBD cotton candy to finish the meal. Best meal I’ve had in a LONG time. We went on a Wednesday and while the restaurant was about half full the ambiance was still quiet and moody. Everything was amazing! Definitely worth a trip if you are an adventurous eater!
We went for our 1 year wedding anniversary and it was an amazing experience! The “dine like a chef” plates were creative and bursting with flavor. The environment was great, staff was friendly, and beers paired well with the food.
Food was slightly above average, nowhere near worth the price.
Great ambiance and food was very good!
