Took 4 hours to get dinner Server/kitchen lost order and notified us after 2 hours Retook order and was told that they would comp out appetizers as compensation Appetizers were not comped When dinner came out , the hit plates were room temperature Some of them were comped but not all. Not happy with experience and we were visiting from out of state. We would not return to restaurant

We came to watch the Gonzaga BB game. Management made sure we had the PERFECT table. Our servers were on point. Funny, supportive we we got crushed in the game, very attentive. I had the gem salad with salmon. The flavor was fantastic. I could taste every spice and oil. However, the salmon was disgusting. It came out looking like jerky. The kitchen should not have even put it on the grill let alone cook it AND serve it to a customer. Wouldn’t have served it to my dog. I sent it back. Management came over and apologized which was ideal. (I owned a customer service company) she literally gave me an official and impressive apology. The replacement salmon was ok. Just ok. The cut of salmon was definitely substandard to anyone let alone a culinary dropout chef. Knowing my salmon(I’m a pescatarian) you can not cook a bad cut of salmon properly. It’s just not possible. I expected an ok salmon and that is what I was given. Over cooked, chewy and salty on one side, slimy, undercooked and bland on the other. So, note to Culinary Dropout, if you don’t have “good” food to prepare, say your out. I’m embarrassed for you. That being said, we love everything else about Culinary Drop out. I just might not eat there again. I don’t think I should have been expected to pay for it.

Booked thru open table for 7:15 & was seated just a few minutes after. It was a Friday nite and packed so a 3 minute wait afterward wasn’t a problem. Not a great selection of beers for a place this big. My husband and I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was so greasy my hands looked like I dipped them in oil & the fries were mediocre, the Tartar sauce tasted like plain Mayo & Cole slaw was ok. Waitress was very nice, the female bartender was hustling and keeping up with the pace as good as anyone could. I wish I could say it was a better experience.

First time to Tucson for a quick vaca. Got a tip from a local hotel about a great food experience. The tip paid off. Food was great. Drinks were well made and service kept the glasses fresh. Enjoyed the atmosphere, good for couples, families and more. We’ll come back.

The food and the drinks were very good. Service was kind of slow but they were very busy and the restaurant manager did come to the table and apologize. Slow service would not have been an issue if the music in the restaurant hadn’t been so loud and we had been able to hear our conversation better. It was like eating dinner in a club rather than a gathering hole type restaurant. This is a restaurant probably suited more for a young professional or college aged crowd and not for older groups that enjoy good conversation at dinner.

Last night I visited Culinary Dropout on a very busy Saturday night during March Madness. We had a reservation and were sat right away. Our server was super busy (to be expected), but very pleasant and did a great job. I was super impressed by the customer service and professionalism that I experienced. When my wings came out, they were cold. They likely were sitting in the window too long. Our server didn't even hesitate. They apologized, took them away, and within 4 minutes I had hot wings in front of me. I love their wings, BTW. When the bill came, the wings were comped. Although not necessary, I greatly appreciated the gesture. I've worked in the service industry for 15+ years and things like that say A LOT. It's a make-or-break act and Culinary made it. Kudos to them for taking care of their patrons. They still remain one of my fav places in Tucson and now I know it's not just because of their food and ambiance.

I was very disappointed in this spot. The restaurant itself is very nice and I loved the covered patio and the decor. Perfect for a causal get together with such a fun vibe! But the food was very bland….like it was dusted with salt and pepper. If you are going for drinks and convo it’s perfect. But the meal was grossly underwhelming! Add some seasoning to your food people!!

Delicious food! This was our first time dining there and it is our new favorite dining place in Tucson. The fish and chips and chicken were outstanding as were the kale and squash salad, onion rings and pretzel/fondue appetizer. The service was excellent and our server was attentive, friendly and filled iced tea beverages without having to ask. The check was accurate and handled in a timely manner. Music was a bit loud for conversations. We dined on the outside patio and music was still loud but not quite as loud as the interior.

I love this place! The cheap house salad with added salmon is what I always get and is always delicious. I ordered the nachos and they were salty as far as my liking. The piña colada here is also amazing. I have tried to make it at home unsuccessfully. Its unique flavor and toasted coconut is outstanding. The noise level during dinner is high. I wish the music was a bit quieter. All in all I love this restaurant and it will continue to be my favorite. Thanks for being awesome!!
