Fun place to hang out and enjoy dinner and play some games.
We celebrated our anniversary here. It was our first time to visit culinary dropout and the atmosphere and music was great! Food was delicious! We will definitely be back!
Great food. Very busy and loud. Good service considering how busy it was.
Not a big menu, but we enjoyed it. The waiter talked very fast and was hard to understand, but I guess we made the right choice. I little loud but we're not going anymore. I would recommend it.
We were there for U of A family weekend and their kitchen or staffing seemed unprepared. We got seated at our rez time and our server was great, but the food took an hour from order to our table. He and the manager came over several times to apologize and say our order was coming. Some of it was wrong. They gave us a piece of cake to go but it would have been more meaningful to us if they took something off the bill. I would have given them a second chance.
We loved the food, but after we ordered food it took more than 40 minutes for our food to arrive. The manager even came over, said she was prioritizing our order and considering reducing the bill. It took another 10 minutes to get our food but no reduction off our bill.
Perfect for family events! Plenty of games to keep kids happy; great food and drink for the adults.
Food very good. Desserts delicious! Wait staff attentive too.
Waiter was hitting on my daughter. Really!!??
Several times....with me, her dad, sitting right there.
Brad I think his name was. Big guy, very muscular!
Kinda killed it for us.
Great and delicious! A gem!!
Fun and fresh! Had a great time!
Delicious food in a lively venue. We've been here twice -- great service and better food. Highly recommend it.
Love the layout and ambiance of this restaurant. It’s open and can be quite loud but it’s a fun modern style and atmosphere. Great place to come for drinks but the food is just not that great, especially for the prices. This is the second time we came for dinner and both times we were underwhelmed by the food. Item menus sound and look good but don’t taste good.
The Dropout was a fun atmosphere and a good place to go for corporate team building events, however I would warn customers that the food while good was expensive and the portions were small and the drinks were outrageously expensive. Neither the menu nor the website have nutritional information, so those on diets or having dietary restrictions are at a severe disadvantage.
Really cool and fun spot to eat - good food, fun for all ages and fast service. We will definitely be back!
The $14 ahi appetizer came in a small bowl with four giant crostinis. It was OK tasting, but seriously overpriced. Our server started out great, but he disappeared as soon as our food arrived. We had to keep asking for refills and other services from other random servers. We had come in around 1:15, so I'm sure he just wanted to go home.
THE FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE WERE FANTASTIC, SO WAS THE NEW GAL I WAS WITH!
It was the perfect place to watch a football game and celebrate my son's 22nd birthday!
It was a good experience and the food was awesome.
Everyone was friendly attentive and the food was amazing.
This place is amazing, not the food, but also the service.
Amazing! The room service drink was fantastic!
Comfort food done with care and expertise. Wait staff attentive and ambiance just plain fun. You owe it to yourself to hang out and chow down
This place was amazing! We were visiting from Texas and loved this place. Food was amazing and the drinks were really good! The atmosphere is also a fun one. Ask for Joey.. he’s from Texas also!
Good food. Quick service. Fun atmosphere.
The service was not good. Our waiter took our drink order and took a while to have them delivered. It took about an hour to get our food. Another waiter filled in since our orginal waiter "got slammed" and could not return. Food was not hot either. Drink menu is very good. Lots of options.
Do you like a loud atmosphere, football (among other sports), overpriced bar food, lots of alcohol, and scantily-clad young ladies? Then this is the place for you! This is not my type of environment, so I will not be back. Not a good place for quiet conversation, and the food was just okay and overpriced. Also, when I made the reservation online, I was asked whether we were there for a special occasion, so I checked the option for birthday as we were celebrating my husband's birthday. Without our asking, they brought us a dessert that was sickly sweet and rich. This would have been fine if it was free, but they charged us for it! Not cool. My husband, other family members, and I had never been there so we didn't know what to expect. Needless to say, we were all pretty disappointed in this place and would not recommend.
Birthday Dinner , great food as always. The wait for food was longer than normal and appetizers came at same time as entrees. They did compensate by removing one from the bill. But I highly recommend this place , the food is consistently great !!
Great as usual.
Good food (but a bit salty) with unique selections — especially with the appetizers, smaller plates. We had house made soft pretzels with cheese deep— fantastic (and way too much for two people!), fried chicken (takes longer to serve, which they let you know in advance) — crispy and tasty (but smashed potatoes had too much salt), ribs which were the star of the show, and monkey bread with delicious vanilla ice team to finish. The open floor plans leads to high noise level (went on weekday evening, maybe with 1/2 full capacity, and was getting loud). Biggest disappointment was that we had reservations, yet we were still seated in the more ubiquitous hard/metal chairs, versus the upholstered (more comfortable?) chairs. Prices are on the higher end, but would still recommend though, especially for out of town guests for a more unique menu (and drink!) choice.
Great atmosphere! It was a Saturday night, it was busy, but our service was great. Food and drinks were good. We tried a few of the appetizers. Pretzels and cheese Fondue excellent, along with the house chips and onion dip. Hot wings were a favorite at our table too. Everyone in our group enjoyed. Would come again.
Not at all what we had expected for a restaurant - more of a Chucky Cheese, kids arcade experience.
Very loud setting, kids running around, games, people had their dogs at the tables, and then the band started. Chaotic! Not the place to go for a relaxing dinner with your spouse.
I am sorry to hear that you had a less than stellar experience with us. We do tend to get loud and chaotic on the weekends, especially Friday and Saturday evening. However, we do offer a Saturday and Sunday brunch that tends to be less loud and chaotic. I would love to assist you in making a reservation as well as provide to you the full 5 star dropout experience. Please reach out to me directly for a reservation. firstname.lastname@example.org Respectfully, Adam Classen Assistant General Manager
Food was underwhelming and portions were small for the price you pay. It was just ok for me.
AMAZING! Food was phenomenal! Favorite restaurant in Tucson hands down!

Casual dining and the food was tasty. Just a little to casual for me

We loved our dinner here! It’s a fun environment and service was spectacular - definitely above average. We loved the Korean chicken and the meatloaf!
Thank you for the great review! We think you are great too! Hope to see you again soon. Cheers, Adam Classen Assistant General Manager Culinary Dropout direct: 520-203-0934 2543 East Grant Rd. Tucson, AZ 85716
I would it recommend this place for the food. The environment is nice but the food was bad. If you are going for drinks and an appetizer it’d be ok.
Andy, I would love to chat and learn more about your most recent visit. Please shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or a call at 520-203-0934. I hope to talk soon. We loved the food and left with a lot of leftovers. It would be nice if it wasn’t so loud. We couldn’t have a conversation without yelling and ended up texting to talk. It also is very slow so if you go plan to wait a while to get food. But the food was amazing and we loved the flavors.
KJen, Thank you for your feedback! With our live music on the weekends, we do get a bit noisier, however our Lunch and Happy Hour service (Monday-Friday 3-6PM) we are much quieter. I look forward to having you join us again! Adam Classen Assistant General Manager Culinary Dropout direct: 520-203-0934 2543 East Grant Rd. Tucson, AZ 85716
