   Culinary Dropout in Gilbert never disappoints. Our meals were excellent. Our server Harley friendly , helpful and appropriately attentive. This place has been consistently excellent, and is one of our favorite places in Oldtown Gilbert.

   Everyone enjoyed their meal and drinks. Service was very good. The side salad with the Cheeseburger was terrible. The Cheeseburger was not outstanding, but it was satisfying. The place is a bit noisy. Very difficult to carry on a conversation across the table.

    We met friends from Seattle for dinner at the Gilbert location. The service, food, and drinks were great. It was quite loud, but we could still enjoy decent conversation even with two hearing impaired people in our group.

    Although the service was good it seemed like we had a long wait for it to be served. The noise level was loud but I blame that on the acoustics and number of people that were there. The Salmon was excellent but for the price I expected a larger portion. My dining partner had the burger with a salad and ranch dressing. The burger was very good but he stated that the dressing was more reminiscent of Caesar salad. Overall I recommend this restaurant. I wouldn’t hesitate to revisit to give it another try.

    Cold food. Salty. Over sauced with weird lemon flavor (pasta). Small portions for price. Long wait to get food. Poor service and difficult to hear (and I should be ok). Bummer.

    We visited last year with our friend and made sure to bring her husband this trip. It was great! I had the roasted salmon and it was perfection. Everyone loved their meals. We will be back!

    The food was really good, but this is the second time I’ve been to culinary dropout and it takes FOREVER to get food and drinks. It took 15-20 mins to get our cocktails and then about an hour to get our food. It was somewhat busy for a Sunday night but it was definitely something that should have taken an hour or so to complete, not 2 hours. No one came to refill our waters and we were never asked if we would like anything else to drink. For the amount of money we spent, it was a subpar experience.

    We’re seated within 10 mins of our reservation on a Sat nite. Server was polite but could have been more attentive. Food took too long to be served without at least an update. We had the wedge salad, charcuterie plate, salmon & burger. Kitchen sent out burger order but it was incorrect. Had to go find a server/manager as our server wasn’t around to follow up on order. Manager brought out new order & followed up as did our server. Manager made good on bill. We’ve eaten here several times. All previous experience were very good. We will return & do recommend. Fun place. Bustling area. Easy free parking.

    Crazy loud, hard to have a conversation. Food was good, but 30 minutes for appetizers is a little long. Consistently good service

    Reserved a spot on Open Table. We were seated immediately. Service was very good. Fish and Chips was good, Prime Rib dip sandwich was good. Butternut squash and Kale with grains and added chicken was overkill with the kale. Would have liked a better balance with the squash and grains. Overall we enjoyed our evening.

    Onion rings were okay. The bacon bbq sauce that came with it needed something more - couldn’t taste or see bacon. But, the mash potatoes made up for it. If only the serving was bigger. It’s that good. I had the trout with beans and it was the best fish and beans dish I’ve had in many, many years. The banana dessert was delicious. Service was great. We will be back!

    Our server recommended the Korean style steak (can’t remember the exact name). It was fabulous. Their sauce is listed as Spicey and I’m a spice wimp but it was very minor and only accentuated the flavor. Great atmosphere.

    We went to CDO before a concert at Hale Theater. Great service, thankful for CDO taking reservations as downtown Gilbert was crazy hopping’! Server for us was excellent and gave us ideas for ordering and was very attentive. Overall a wonderful experience.

    I made a reservation weeks in advance and got stuck in the bar area at a cheap table that was far to big for two people. What a shame. So disappointing. What’s the point of making a reservation if you don’t get a table in the restaurant?

    Took my niece for her 14th birthday since she had never been. Parking is much easier at this location vs. others. I had a reservation and we were seated 15 minutes after our reservation time. We ordered as soon as we were seated. Appetizer landed fast (house made chips/dip was good but chips were over cooked) and it took an hour for our entrees to come out. We both ordered meatloaf on someone’s recommendation: Mashed potatoes were cold (serving size was small too), green beans were inconsistently cooked and overly salted, sauce in meatloaf was overly sweet. The meatloaf itself was decent. The server asked if she wanted a refill on her soda and when she said no, the server quickly grabbed her glass and walked away. My niece still wanted the bit of soda and ice that was left in her glass but whatever. Birthday fail :(

    The food was okay, nothing special but not bad. A bit overpriced for the quality. The biggest issue was the kitchen was completely backed up. It took 45 minutes from when we ordered to when we got our food.

    Great Friday night friends get together - fire pit outside while watching Phoenix Suns bball! The French onion dip and homemade chips were great but popcorn shrimp are just so-so. Great service here! You absolutely need a reservation on a Friday night here:)
