A lot of confusion on who was serving our table - but overall good.
Food and drink are always awesome and never disappoint! Started out with the pretzel rolls and cheese fondue, as we always do because it is so good and head’s above anywhere else we’ve ever tried. The sangria, mules and matador mules were also very good. Five of us dined last night. Two had the fried chicken, which is always a great choice. Once had the fish and chips and said it was the best he ever had. The salmon was excellent and the summer corn lasagna was a good seasonal choice. We all enjoyed the apple cinnamon dessert with vanilla ice cream. It was described to us as a cinnamon roll marrying an apple crumb cake and that too was quite tasty! Every time I visit my daughter at ASU we eat at Culinary Dropout. This was our first time at the Gilbert location. Parking is easy and it’s huge inside and not nearly as noisy as the location at the Yard in Tempe. One of our favorite restaurants for sure!
The brunch menu had some incredible options! I went with the Southwest Bowl. It could have used some salt because the black beans were a little bland, but the tomatoes and cilantro were flavorful so it balanced overall. It was a little bit loud, but it was Sunday during the Cardinals game, so that was understandable.
The monkey bread was absolutely delicious!! 5-stars!
We will definitely be back, but more thoughtful of the sports schedule if wanting a more intimate dining experience.
I love this location! I go here with my husband all the time. You have to make a reservation, especially if it is second half of the week of you will have to wait forever. The food is always amazing. I have been to this location more than 10 times for the last year and only once I wasn’t really happy with my onion rings. They were too chunky for my taste. I usually order steak and it is my favorite! Appetizers are great. Best Margarita and my husband really likes their selection of beer. Unfortunately my favorite wine (Riesling) is no longer available so I get a cocktail instead. I also love their live music on Saturday nights. The musician/singer is amazing, sings some of my favorite songs. Very enjoyable. The service is always fast, very nice. I didn’t like my drink once and they took it off the bill. The waiters are stylish and attentive.
Great service and delicious food! The portions were a touch on the smaller side but the taste made up for it!
This was my first time at this restaurant. We went at night. There was music playing and TVs in every part of the establishment, similar to a sports bar. The food was really good. The service was good.
Great service and great food.
Ambiance is so fun
Fantastic dining experience
The food was delicious. My husband loved the Spicy Korean Skirt Steak and the Summer Corn Lasagna was tasty. The house chips with onion dip were amazing!
ordered a full meal, they brought a little snack with burnt toast (black). overpriced and not great.
Service to get the table is always friendly and efficient; server is friendly and attentive and welcoming. We love this location. Grilled salmon is a must and the grilled asparagus.
Family was all in town and wanted to have dinner together. Dinner was great.
Strawberry & avocado salad is fantastic. Pretty much everything is good and great ambiance.
Would defintily try something different. Skirt steak- No. Meatloaf - Just ok. Nachos were great. Korean bbq - good. Deviled eggs - no. So maybe a burger might be ok?
i’ve never been to culinary dropout before, but this was an extraordinary experience! our server was fun, and energetic , personable, gave us great recommendations and substitutions for our meals, and made it just an incredible experience for all of us.
Service was amazing but food was low quality. It was cold and undercooked.
Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu, including the drink menu. I have strict dietary needs, and he submitted my order in such a way that those needs were met quite well! The food was delicious, with nice presentation.
The restaurant was rather noisy, but considering the size of the place and the number of people there, understandable.
The ambiance was amazing i a very cute area downtown Gilbert. Although construction you wouldn’t even know it. The service was exceptional! Way to go Taylor! smile was infectious! The food was a little greasy my my take but great flavor. Will be back!!
Great food, service, and overall great time!
Our server, Alyssa, was phenomenal! It was our first time there, and she was patient as she explained everything, and her recommendations were excellent! The food was fantastic, the atmosphere great, and Alyssa just made the entire experience one we will definitely repeat!
Food was cold. The ambiance was very loud.
love the place just wish they had more menu items and cocktails weren't so much.
Great food. Timely service. Noisy as heck.
Make a reservation!
Actually better than the Tempe location :)
it was my first time there. the food was delicious, the drinks fantastic. i enjoyed the open atmosphere and look forward to returning and sitting outside in cooler weather.
Food was ok. Server was very nice and hospitable. If I had to do it again I would order off the menu instead of the special menu. I would have opted for just the regular dinner instead of the 3 course meal. It wasn't any thing special. I would not go back.
The value and the quality of the food off of the Restaurant week menu was awesome.
My teenagers were amazed at the quick turn around on the beverages and the courses arriving. The way restaurant's use to be.
I’ve been to culinary dropout in the past they’ve consistently provided a fun memorable experience! Whereas the noise level is very loud making conversation at times difficult, it’s not a complete turn off. The food is incredible- dishes easily recognized by many yet done with a nice level of quality. The atmosphere is energetic and always lively even for a Monday night which makes the time spent there all the more fun. Culinary dropout does a good job at creating an environment where it’s relaxed and easy going without compromising on quality of food and service
Our server was awesome I didn’t catch his name but was always checking up on us! We had a party of 6 for my birthday in the afternoon! The food was so good and my family and I really enjoyed the meal! Thanks :)
Everything (food, ambiance, service) was amazing!!! This is the perfect restaurant for date-night, a girls night out, or a business dinner. It was a little loud last night but nothing terrible. Will definitely come back again.
Great service and hospitality. Worked with us when I needed to add to my reservation. Thanks!
We went for Az restaurant week
Food was great, server was very welcoming and made the experience even better. 10/10!
The service was great, and the food was exceptional
Went because I had read good reviews. I would agree the food is good & liked the atmosphere. Would recommend.
Charming place with great food😁 the menu is unique and I am ordering something different every time. We had corned lasagne, amazing skirt steak, chopped chicken, fried chicken, And fish n chips ALL DELICIOUS. Love long red couches for several people.
Really enjoyed lunch at Culinary Drop Out. Would let people know that it is very loud. Great food, great service.
Pretzel bites! Best item on the menu. So good!
Culinary Dropout is always a great experience. I have been many times and it never disappoints.
Had the chicken Cobb salad for $16 and was very disappointed. Small serving of chicken, browning not-so-fresh avocados, served in a bowl that was not very appealing visually. Overall, not much better than a salad I make at home. I don’t think I will eat here again, or recommend it to others.
Great service and awesome food. Celebrating my Mother's 80th and the server could not have been more accommodating, such a pleasurable experience.
