The live music was useless… Just a bunch of muddy noise that made it harder to hear conversations. Food, service, ambiance all 100% excellent!

It’s nice to go to a restaurant where the workers act like they want to be there. Our service was great. I believe her name was T. Food was delicious. Get the truffle pizza!

Food was great. Service wasn’t that great. The guy was friendly. But didn’t keep drinks full and didn’t come back to bring check. Finally had to ask a manager walking by for it. Soda price is 4.75, it would have been nice to have it filled up at least once for that price.

Our 2nd visit. 1st time for brunch. We had the southwest chili and fish and chips which were both very good. We’d order again. The Bloody Mary and mimosa was also great. Especially great was our server Morgan. Very personable, fun and attentive.

It was a decent experience. At the end of our meal we were supplied with our checks. The payment process consisted of scanning a QR code only to find out credit cards for not accepted but rather Venmo and or a Culinary Dropout gift card. Not sure how this detail was missed prior to making a reservation because I definitely would have been prepared by setting up Venmo for payment. The food was overpriced compared to comparable places in the city. Probably won't return but I won't discourage others from trying the experience.
Culinary Dropout - BirminghamResponded 7 days ago
Adrienne, I wanted to first say thank you for leaving us this feedback. I am so sorry that you had this experience with the payments. Although we do offer a qr code to be able to pay tableside through venmo or apple pay, we also offer traditional payment options including all major credit cards and cash. It sounds like there was some miscommunication on our part and for that I wanted to apologize. I would love to invite you back in for a better experience, I hope to see you again soon. Overall very good. Prices were reasonable. Wife had fried chicken and I had fish & chips. Both were excellent. I especially enjoyed the fish & chips. Reminded me of fish &chips in Kearney NJ. Our server Morgan was awesome. Very attentive and personable. Only downside was noise level.

Fred, Thank you for this review. I am glad you enjoyed your food. I am sorry that it was a bit loud while you were here. Other than the noise level, is there anything you would like to see us do different to earn a 5 star rating? We look forward to having you back soon, Matt Huebert General Manager
