Culinary Dropout at The Quarter
Once again, great customer service
Met friends for a Sunday afternoon catchup. The CD provided a great venue to do that. We enjoyed the food and drinks choice, never felt rushed, and had a great time
Everything was great! The drinks were awesome and the food didn’t disappoint!
Amber our server was a sweetheart!
Food is good as always for service is lacking. Waitor took over 15 minutes to come by the very first time. Just super slow the entire time.
Fun atmosphere. A younger and energetic environment. Some of the food was very good (pizza) some was dry and bland (prime rib dip) and, oh, by the way, mayonnaise should NEVER be put on a prime rib dip, UNLESS a customer asks for it.
The staff was attentive, unique, beautiful, and eager to help. Each person we interacted with had humor, intelligence, and verve. It was a real pleasure. The management trainee from Colorado, Amanda, was a particular favorite.
Love this place
The ambiance of the restaurant, the food and service are excellent……but the noise level makes it impossible to carryon a conversation. The tables need to be at least six feet apart or more. The person at the table next to us ( he sat at the end of the table rather than on one of the sides) actually touched our table every time he moved. This restaurant has great potential if the noise level can be addressed.
Enjoyed the food, staff friendly. Service was slow but manager took off appetizers which was nice we didn’t even ask. Kid friendly.
Great food and service.
Not all it's cracked up to be. Food very average. Service is good.
Great service. Taste good. MY FAVORITE IS fried chicken and pork rib. Mush try.
One of our favorite spots in Scottsdale.
We love Chelsea! She is always hustling getting us our orders to the table. Checking on us through out our meal. The best!!
First time there after hearing about this place. Food, service, and the vibe of the place was great! We will be back!
Love love love this restaurant. Service was great. Bar drinks are delicious. We sat in their indoor patio. We live eating here. Such a great place to enjoy a meal.
The food was great but having to yell to be heard diminished the overall experience.
Great team member coordination… accommodating and proficient! Pleasant attitudes! Good job!
First time, great place Service and ambiance fantastic
Out of our party of 4, 3 of us had never been here - we were NOT disappointed! Our server Baylee was nothing short of awesome - the pretzels and cheese were a great appetizer. I ordered the Steak Frites - juicy and cooked to perfection! One person ordered a pizza - which looked very good! One person ordered the ribs - he said they were fantastic! Our last group member who had been here before had the meatloaf - I think he licked his plate clean!
Definitely coming back on our next trip to Scottsdale next week - want to give other options on the menu a try!
Prompt and attentive service. Dinner was excellent. Food well prepared and presented. It was FUN.
Ordered and fried chicken showed up 5 minutes later. Every other time it took 15 or so minutes. Potatoes were cold. Really small serving of coke slaw, like 2 bites. Should have sent the meals back. Just not the typical excellent food I usually get.
My wife and I have been to Culinary Dropout the past two Sundays for brunch. Love the food and service. Unfortunately, the live music they offer is dismal. It's way too loud, screachy, and unappealing that we won't be coming back.
Sunday brunch is supposed to be relaxed and fun, this isn't.
The meal was fantastic!
The Detroit style pizza was amazing. The crust was so light and slightly crispy. Absolutely perfect!!
Great place to spend an afternoon with friends over drinks and great food!
Great food and service; great table; very energetic environment!
great tasting food, good menu, very lively atmosphere.
Loved it!! Waiter was a little snappy but overall great
So much fun!!!
Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, and great location.
1st time at this location. Loved it. Great atmosphere, great food and friendly staff.
Changed the pork on nachos although menu was wrong
The food was really good. The following day my wife looked in the fridge and frowned because all the leftovers from the night before were already gone.
Awful service and low quality food
The entree salads were excellent. The steak sandwich bread was soggy. The fries with both the fried chicken & steak sandwich came out cold. The waiter & manager took very good care of us—including turning down the music. With hard surfaces & the big crowd, it was already very noisy & the music is unnecessary.
Skirt steak and accompanying arugula salad were fantastic, but the "frites" were terrible.
All 4 of us had the fries, which were old and soggy.
They should never have been plated, and the servers should never have allowed them to be served.
The fish and chips were excellent (again, except for the soggy and greasy chips).
Cole slaw on the F&C's was excellent.
The chicken sandwich was terrible. Just basically a thin piece of overcooked and completely unseasoned chicken....grilled to near cremation....topped with an old and soggy piece of bacon or two and then served with soggy and greasy chips.
Service was not attentive at all. Would have sent all the chips back, but nobody checked on us. Waitresses socializing instead of checking on the clients.
Probably just need better training and management.
The floor manager did not appear to be visible and - if I am right - appeared to be a wide-eyed 12 year old (probably older, but you know what I mean) that did not seem to be comfortable with their job.
We will return. This place has potential and these issues are all totally solvable with better feedback and training.
Food portions are small and prices are very high. 2 salads and 2 alcoholic drinks with tip was $78. That was lunch. Adding chicken to the salad made it $20. Not able to go there much.
Delicious! There was no avocado in the Strawberry Avocado salad but everything else was great!
Great food and fun server!
The hostesses and wait service were horrible. Food was decent. Would never go back based upon the lack of proper training and overall poor management of this place.
