   The restaurant was in the midst of a name change, and our bartender (we ate at the bar) was brand new. In spite of the challenges we had a lovely evening. Food was great!

   Went to Cuisine 76 and bar with some colleagues interested in trying some Mediterranean food. The restaurant has a modern feel with the focus on the food not the decor. We started with the Meza sampler and all the elements which included muhamarra a dish with spicy tomatoes and peppers which complimented the humus and fresh pita. The dinner was excellent and we had the mixed grill, muja dará and khachapuri. Overall a very nice adventure in a locally owned restaurant.

   Our waiter had no idea about the contents of the menu. We asked about the charcuterie appetizer, and he did not know what it included. We asked about the evening's special, and he replied, Mahi Mahi. We asked what did it come with and he said "Nothing, just the fish." Nothing about any sides. Strange.

   Our first time at Escape was wonderful! The service was amazing and our food and wine were incredible. Everyone went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. We will definitely be back!

    The food was awesome and the staff were kind. Only negatives were the appetizer came out at the same time as the entrees, but it was New Year’s Eve and clear they were short handed. overall a great experience. I’d go back again for sure.

    The restaurant did not have enough staff to accommodate a large party. The server was very friendly. It probably would have been better to have two servers to handle the party of 14. We were told only wine and beer because the bar could not make cocktails at this time.

    Restaurant was super empty which was okay, it was the Sunday after Thanksgiving so understandable. Music in the back patio area would be nice. Our waitress was great, however she was a bit too open with current state of the restaurant. At one point after finishing our meals she mentioned that the two refrigerators were down which was a bit concerning. Your guests should never know the nitty gritty of the kitchen, what if I was a health inspector? We could tell the bartender was either inexperienced or having an off day, was unsure of how to make an espresso martini and unable to make a White Russian which are both listed on the menu. She also brought the bartender to the table after a good 20 minute wait just to tell us there weren’t ingredients available to make the drink. The coconut shrimp was a bit over fried. Enjoyed my time otherwise, wish you all the best.

    Lol literally wut. When we (2) walked in on a Sunday at 6 the place was empty. The ambiance lighting and brick is cool. We sat at the bar. There was no bartender. The lady working said she wasn’t available that night. We asked for wine. We had to show the lady which wine we wanted..and also open the cork for her because she didn’t know how. We watched as other tables ordered shots and the “bartender” asked us for help shaking and pouring the shots as she was reading recipes from google. I ordered the French roasted chicken with puff pastry. It was boiled chicken with pillsbury rolls, We sat as other customers came to the bar with the same bafflement about their drinks and food. We would’ve gotten a better culinary dining experience at Wendy’s 5 Points.

    It was our first time eating there and the food was really good along with the music & atmosphere. We will be back to eat there again. The calamari and chicken wings were really good, the Tzatziki was enough to share with others, and the shredded meat on a bed of rice with nuts was seasoned well and tasty. Our friends really enjoyed their dishes as well.

    Mediocre food, awful service, very bad acoustics for live music. With only 3 or 4 couples seated at any given time, we had long waits for drinks, ordering and our check. Two couples that came in sat and waited and got up and left. Their website (and prices) makes the restaurant appear “high end” - it’s not. It’s a dump, with dirty bathrooms, and I suspect it won’t last long.

    Listen. We walked in with some VPs for a business dinner. At first wondered what kind of place I booked…turns out the food was great, wine was reasonably priced and the cocktails were happy hour specials. Then we moved to the patio in back for phase ii of the night and it could not have been more pleasant!! Unassuming but great service and all around would say a hidden little gem!!!

    Excellent menu, well prepared. The Chicken Vol-au-Vent was very good, not over seasoned. The entree dishes are family sized and can be split by two people. Three of the small plates are perfect!

    The restaurant was very disappointing. The service was very poor. The food that we did eat was good such as the prime rib lumpia. We had a party at seven and we had to wait which was expected. Once we all ordered our entrees it took 39 minutes and 58 seconds for the manager to come over with her tablet to let us know that we had not been waiting that long and I had only been 30 minutes. The reason I know it was 39 minutes and 58 seconds is because she had a timer on the tablet with the orders. We canceled our entrées and paid for appetizers and drinks that we ordered. Well canceling our orders at no time did the manager let us know that the food was ready. She honestly appeared irritated or upset because we were not willing to wait any longer. If I filled was done I’m sure she would have led with that when she came over to let us know that we have not been waiting that long. Our reservation was for 7 PM we did not leave until 845 without an entree. The managers excuse was that they were short staffed. Unfortunately that is not the concern of the guest. If the staff is short then you should have not seated guest that you cannot accommodate. We also had a reservation so I’m not sure why our group of seven was not properly accommodated. We watched as people that came in after our table and ordered similar items to us were served and left before we even received our entrée. The overall experience was poor and we will not return to this restaurant. Our waiter was required to work our table inside and also work the outside patio table. He was nice and knowledgeable however we still lacked certain items such as complementary bread and timely water refills.

    I’m so disappointed I wasted date night and quite a bit of money for this place. The drinks were just ok, not worth the price. The short rib lumpia were good but not enough to make up for the rest of the experience. The khachapuri was not at all what it should have been. This was like pizza dough you get in the store that was killed in toppings that were not fresh - “wild mushrooms” were straight up canned mushroom. The chicken tasted like precooked frozen chicken. All could really taste was garlic. Nor did they care that we didn’t like it and didn’t eat it. And there was this buffet that honestly looked and smelled terrible. We should have walked out right there. Will not be returning.

    The lamb and vegetables were good at first, but started to make me queasy about halfway through due to all the oil. There was literally a puddle of oil on the plate that everything was swimming in.

    Great food, great service, well priced and tasty cocktails. Hidden gem. We had been to other restaurants in Riverside and so glad we tried this. Can’t wait to come back with our friends and neighbors.

    Great dining experience: food was international, creative and very tasty and the owner was very personable. They brought a few extras to sample throughout our meal, which was a really nice touch. Only very mild complaint was that the background music was a little loud. Overall loved it and would recommend and will come back!

    The food and ambience is great. The service is still lacking. This is the third time I have visited. They are very friendly, but they do need to up the service. It took almost 15 minutes for the two of us to get our glass of wine we ordered. The food didn't take that long when ordered. It is the just the drinks and knowing how to take care of a customer is what is lacking.

    We had reservations for 11am. We were early and the hostess let us in a seated up before opening. The service and food were both VERY good. My only complaint is, that I ordered an Old Fashioned cocktail and had way too much bitters. My GF had a Mojito and said it was one of the best she's had. Overall a great experience, I'll just order a jack a coke next time.

    Worst service ever! Attempted to eat early before an event so we were the only 4 people in the whole place. Drinks took forever. Server had greasy hair and dirty fingernails. Maybe she was stoned? Dropped our appetizer at my feet. Brought out white wine instead of red. Never got our entrees. Had to leave after appetizers. It was so bad it became comical. Like…what next?
