It was our 40th anniversary. The owner gave us complementary lemonchello. He comes to all the tables. Such a nice guy glad he survived during all the restaurant closings
A really nice place, just a little pricey.
The owners and chef were so welcoming and friendly. They took time to come out and speak with us several times. The food was very good as well.
This was our first time going to Cuginos. There was a private party there which was a bit loud but first impression was good atmosphere. The waitress read us the dinner specials which we ordered 2 of - the food presented was not what was described. She did take it back & brought correct food. To our shock the special entrees we’re $40 each ….. our fault for not asking but seriously fettuccine with stuffed chicken cutlet. Our waitress was very accommodating & actually brought a complimentary dessert for birthday celebration. All of us agreed there are too many excellent places to spend $40 on an entree & most likely will not go to Cuginos again 🤷🏻♀️
Great food and great evening at Cugino’s chef came out to greet us and guide us through the specials. We shared appetizer order stuffed banana peppers,fried calamari and fresh mozzarella all very good and as advertised
The chef recommended that we all choose different entrees so we could split them and get a feel for restaurant. All good suggestions and quite enjoyable for all involved
Entrees were chicken parm, gnocchi,shrimp scampi,lobster ravioli and spaghetti bolognese
Homemade pastas were very good along with very good service. Highly recommend a visit and evening at this solid restaurant
Everything was delicious, beginning to end!
Extremely slow service. The Bolognese and pork osso buco were very good. Not impressed with the beet salad or artisan cheese board.
Great Food. Service was great as well. It was Mother's day and they did a great job on a busy day.
The service was good, but the food just wasn't good. I felt like I was at Olive Garden, where everything is processed and from the freezer.
I had the sea bass and it was prepared excellent it was delicious! Others at the table had bolognese said it was very very good there were six of us all meals were very good. However we were seated in outdoor type chairs with cushions very uncomfortable!!!
Great service, delicious food in fact one of the best steaks I’ve had. The chef comes out, greets you and ask you how was the food which I think it’s pretty nice. Very romantic ambiance perfect for anniversaries.
Our experience was not good. I went here less than a year ago and had a wonderful experience- attentive server, delicious food, did not feel rushed, and owner/cook even came out to say hello and make sure everything was good. When we went this time (my husbands first visit) it was the total opposite. The server was quite brash, rushy, non existence for long periods of time, and she’d constantly come out from the kitchen and forget to put her mask up. She just didn’t seem put together at all. We waited 20 minutes for the check and the server blamed it on the bar being busy with customers (when we left the bar had 2 small groups of 2 there). The food came out quickly, too quickly, and the food wasn’t nearly as good as my first visit. Oh, and their menu on open table features prices that are less than the menu in the restaurant, and that’s misleading. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this place to neighbors and friends and I probably will not come back for quite a long time.
Always delicious food and service. Frank the owner and chef personally makes every meal and dining experience great.
I do not like Italian food, but family voted and I lost. I wanted so hard to get some objections here... I couldn't. Good food excellent service - all great. A tad too pricey.

This was not a great experience. We made a reservation for 8:30pm and it was obvious the hostess didn’t want to seat us because she checked three times to confirm the reservation. This was odd because the restaurant was empty.
After being seated, the server came to the table to ask if we were ready to order. My wife asked for a few minutes to review the menu and the server told us “the kitchen closes in 30 minutes”.
We started with a Cesar salad and the beet salad with goat cheese. My Cesar was nothing fancy. The goat cheese salad did not contain any goat cheese. We asked the server if we could get some goat cheese and she brought us 3-4 crumbles. Literally 3-4 tiny crumbles. She should’ve been embarrassed to bring that to the table.
My wife ordered the shrimp pasta which was supposed to come with spaghetti and it was served with fettuccini. I ordered the $40 seafood combo pasta which came with three shrimp, three scallops, and a small portion of severely over cooked pasta. I wish I I could underline the word “severely” because it was painfully over cooked.
I’m sorry to be negative but if they’re going to charge those prices, we shouldn’t be rushed, the goat cheese salad should actually contain goat cheese, and the $40 pasta dish should be al dente.
We had a lovely dinner. The owner came out and checked on us and was very personable. Can’t wait until it’s warm to dine on the patio.

The food was amazing. Great specials in addition to all the options on the regular menu. Many homemade items such as the pasta and sauces as well as desserts. The staff was great! Our waitress was so friendly and the owner/chef came out to welcome us in addition to telling us the specials. He came back out to check on us at the end of our meal as well. Highly recommend this gem.

Cuginos's Italian restaurant is well worth a visit. It is a hidden gem within the heart of Williamsville. The service was excellent along with the food. We had a party of 6 and we all enjoyed our meals. The chef/owner comes out to check on the tables which we appreciated. I would recommend Cuginos to anyone. We will definitely be going back.
Recommend without any hesitation or reservation. We were not rushed. Service was polite. Food quality was awesome as was the quantity of each dish. This was on a Saturday night.
Cugino's Italian Restaurant was outstanding. The food was delicious, ambiance was lovely and service impeccable.
We 4 had dinner on Valentine’s Day. None of us had ever been here before. The weather was awful; we also heard that two servers were out sick, and the bartender just never showed up.
That said, our server Linda was charming, funny, and terrific even if a bit overwrought. The very Italian chef himself (Frank!) came to us, chatted and took our orders, plus checked on us and everyone else later. Very sweet guy.
The food ranged from pretty good to really excellent. We’re definitely going back... Linda and Frank charmed all of us. 💙
A busy Valentine's Day led to stressful vibes. After a bit of a wait things improved. Our server was as attentive as possible under the circumstances and thanked us heartily for a very good tip.
We finally tried the burrata, fig & prosciutto which was delicious! Same for my sea bass on risotto & my husband's filet mignon on polenta. Both chardonnays were apprecicated and reasonably priced. Go at a less busy time or day for a relaxing treat & a few words with Franco.
We went the Saturday before Valentine's day. Food was great. Felt very rushed though. We ordered drinks and 3 courses each from the kitchen. First course came right out. Second course came out while we were still eating our first course. Again, third course came out while we were still eating our second course. The staff had no time to resilver before the next course came out.... also, I wanted to order another drink but we were not asked, nor would we have time to enjoy it. We were an 8 o'clock reservation, the last seating. So there was no rush to squeeze another table in before the 10pm closing time. We were out of there in an hour. Our bill of $160 included 2 of the specials that were suggessted. The restaurant was nicely decorated, staff was nice and food was good. I am not sure if it was the timing of the server or kitchen staff, however we if ever go back I would make sure to mention we would like time between courses.
The staff was extremely friendly and everyone in our party loved their entrees. Some of our selections were Chilean Sea Bass, Stuffed Chicken special, Pork Osso Buco, Lobster Ravioli and a Filet Mignon special. Everything was delicious. Loved the large selection on the menu and the restaurant had a nice, relaxing but elegant atmosphere.
Tha ambiance was nice, food was delicious and staff were friendly. The banana peppers were hot (wished it had more stuffing inside and not just at the opening of pepper). We were celebrating a birthday and the waitress brought over Tiramusi with a candle and told us it was on the house yet charged us?! Although the food was delicious, we didn't want to stay any longer because their music was too repetitive.
It was nice italian music including a number the nutcracker yet the songs were not played in its entirety and was on a loop the entire time! It became unbearable. I suggest they add more music to their playlist.
It was a very nice place and the food was excellent. Our service was a tad slow, but it was NOT our server's fault. She appeared to be the only one working all of the tables by herself. We understood she was busy, but it would have been nice to have some help for her. The food was good, but the overall bill was on the expensive side. They had less expensive wines on their list that they didn't have in house... Then they suggested a more expensive bottle (by $15 more) instead. We will return for special occasions as the food was delicious and it appeared that they weren't expecting to be short handed.

Very nice but just a few suggestions, homemade bread delicious but not warm. If you serve homemade bread warm it up. Dipping sauce for bread to spicy. Serve oil too so if someone doesn’t like spice they have oil as a choice. Homemade pasta was very good.
Our food was excellent....we both had the Filet and Scallop special. The filet was huge and tender. We asked for medium rare and it came medium - we believe this was the server's error as she was a bit harried, they clearly had more business that evening than they anticipated. Fig and Burrata appetizer is always enjoyable.

We had a delicious dinner here! We started with an appetizer of stuffed peppers. They were spicy and scrumptious ! The bread came with a slightly spicy dipping sauce. Next we had salads (which were non descript, yet tasty enough. We ordered chef specials for entrees. I had a stuffed chicken breast, while my husband had a steak filet. Both were amazing, good sized portions. Dessert for us was just a drink of home made lemoncilo! We will be back soon!!
The food and service was excellent! The owner/chef came to our table to see how everything was which is a nice touch. It was the first time but not the last time for us!

This place is the best of the best. Service is outstanding, food is fresh and tasty, drinks are made perfectly. I highly recommend Cugino. I’ll be back again and again.
Greeted warmly- tables nicely spaced apart. Our server was kind and helpful. All the food we ordered was delicious. Extensive wine list. Desserts were yummy. Chef/owner came to table to check on our satisfaction and bought us after dinner drinks. We will be back!
