The Cuervo family welcomes you to enjoy their most treasured values, savor homemade recipes from our family, who has spent centuries in the tequila brewing and the food & beverage industry, or enjoy the exquisite creations from the masterful Chef Roberto Gallardo, Charlie Trotter’s former sous chef, featuring gourmet dining with Mexican flair, all with our hallmark of warm hospitality; and last but not least, enjoy unique Tequila Tasting Experiences with Jorge Cuervo, Master Tequilier and descendent of the founder.

Our family is original from Tequila, Jalisco, best known as being the birthplace of the drink that bears its name, “tequila”. Our passion for this industry starts with Don Jose Antonio Cuervo, the founder of the Tequila. Nowadays 220 years after, part of the family still produces tequila, but Jorge Cuervo took after his father, Don Malaquías Cuervo, who expertise in the culinary arts inspired by his ancestor's deep knowledge of the authentic Mexican cuisine.

    This was excellent! Everything we ate was truly delicious, abundantly flavorful and generous portions. Attentive service and great ambiance. A wonderful meal before the art walk!

    Amazingly intimate experience!! Jorge was excellent in every way. Personal, knowledgable, and immersive. Awesome to see his families lineage, and his love for Tequila. Our dinner for two was massive and delicious. Wishing his brand Malaco, all the success. 10/10 recommend.

    Outstanding Experience! The owner and his wife have a terrific restaurant and I would highly recommend it! We will be back when we return to San Jose. It is a hidden gem!

    This was an absolute highlight of our trip to San Jose Del Cabo!! The food tequila presentation service, and overall care of your experience is next to none! Jorge did a superb job presenting his varieties of tequilas and how to master the technique of finding your perfect tequila. His wife is so sweet and the food again was incredible. We definitely recommend!!

    Jorge Cuervo and his team were phenomenal. His presentation of tequila mixed with his family history provided cultural enrichment that you can’t get at a resort. And the food served paired phenomenally with the tequila and was delicious. We were a group of 32 sorority sisters and we all left very happy with our experience at Cuervo’s House. Thank you Jorge for creating a phenomenal memory.

    Coming from Uk, we don’t class our nation as tequila drinkers and to be fair we knew nothing on the subject. We decided to do the tequila tasting evening and dinner and are so pleased we did. We came away interested in Tequila - purely from the inspiring and informative talk from Jorge Cuervo. A perfect early evening experience. We wish Jorge well at getting back into the old school art of tequila making.

    Tequila tasting was great, and so were the canapés. The food there is top notch. Jorge Cuervo did a great job teaching us the differences between tequilas, and what to look for when selecting. Would highly recommend. They make you feel like family!

    Jorge Cuervo gave us the most amazing Tequila tasting. He was so educational, informative, insightful and on top of all... kind. What an incredible experience for tequila lovers. But also, this tasting was so fantastic that even people who might not like tequila minds will change after this experience. The location is beautiful and the little snacks are delicious as well! Highly recommend and hope everyone enjoys it as much as my family and I did. Cheers!
