Dined after a movie across the street. Restaurant was quite busy and very loud. I ordered a pasta dish loaded with seafood. The menu said 'spicy sauce' but our waiter assured me they could serve it nonspicy. Such a nice dish but it was still spicy, regardless of what he wrote down. From the bar, the Cosmopolitan was the best I've had in ages and I told the bartender so. A big plus!
The music was a little loud for table discussion. Food was very good. Please ask servers to refrain from removing plates until the last person is done eating.
We enjoyed a fairly nice evening at Cucina Venti. Our hostess greeted us twice with, "Hey you guys" which I felt was too informal for this type of restaurant. I spoke to the hostess about this as we were leaving.
We were not greeted by a waiter for a long time after being seated. We were not given any water and had to ask another waiter for water.
Our waiter (I think his name was Alexander?) was not very attentive.
Our finished plates were gathered up from the table in a sloppy way.
We were appreciative of the free chocolate cake for my daughter's birthday we were celebrating. Our waiter did not come back after serving the cake to ask if anyone else wanted desert or a coffee.
Our food was quite good, but we would not come to this restaurant again because of the disappointing service.
food was really good and authentic. Brushetta was fair but the beef short ribs, tortoloni pesto and choc cake were excellent.
The service was really bad. We sat for 15 min and finally needed to ask for a waiter. When we arrived at 5:30 it was only 1/2 full. Someone helped us finally. Got water, bread took a while. Not sure what was going on, maybe short staffed that night. ? We ended up with 2 waiters heloing is because it wasn’t clear who owned that table. For the upscale restaurant and prices the waitstaff should be very good. Their timing was off with us the whole time.
They were resetting tables around us. By the time we left 1.5 hours later the restaurant was full.
We didn’t see a manager on our way out or would have talked to them directly.
We likely won’t recommend or return — great food, but poor staffing. For a good meal we would expect both.
Great food and service!
Outstanding sea bass, along with calamari and artichoke hearts.
Love Cucina Venti - always feels warm and welcoming and food is terrific. Parking can be difficult though.
Over all good exerience
The food was good, not great. The prices have gone up a lot in the last few years making the value equation weak. The atmosphere is nice and the service was very good. The corkage fee is too high, $35/bottle. All in all, an OK experience but there are other places you can go for similar to better food for a lessor price tag.
SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT! FOOD A LITTLE SALTY BUT VERY NICE, COZY AND QUIET SETTING; WILL RETURN FOR SURE!
Took my kids here to celebrate a volleyball tournament. We all enjoyed our food immensely. Thank you.
Delicious food, attentive and competent service, lovely evening ambience. Can’t wait to return.
Harrison our waiter was outstanding on making sure everything was to our satisfaction.
Food choices on their prix fix e menu that night was delicious We were so happy we chose Cucina Venti and look forward to returning another time.
I wish I could get the recipe for the Brussels sprouts served with the chicken Marsala. They were the best I’ve ever had. The whole entree was amazing!
Great food, loved the decor and ambiance. Great and attentive servers. Food arrived promptly and hot.
Weak drinks. Prices are quite high. Regardless, it’s one of our favorite restaurants.
Our server was amazing unfortunately I didn't get his name very detail oriented!
This was a wonderful lunch spot for a celebratory work lunch. we all ordered great food and had a lovely time. I ordered the Seafood Paella and it OMG good. So was all the other goodies people ordered. The service was great and we wanted for nothing. This was our third visit as a team and we are always excited to go back, since there is something for everyone.
Service was attentive, but not intrusive. Main courses were very tasty. Beet salad was a bit skimpy on the beets. Nice breads.
Excellent food and service
Too much fat in my short ribs entree. Wine selection is good but way overpriced.
Parking was always a problem every time we had dinner here. This time an event at the museum across the street caused their attendees to take up spots at the restaurant parking area.
We had a lovely dinner before a movie on Saturday night. Loved the atmosphere and the food was delicious. We ordered two different pasta's and had a hard time deciding who had the best dish! Our wait person let us sample a bottle of wine to make sure is was dry enough for us. It was, and we enjoyed it very much. Next time, we'll skip the movie, go later and linger over our dinner. This restaurant is a bit on the pricey side but it is a gem.
I love this place. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.
Great experience, great service, great food! The wine list is a bit over priced but they ha e some wonderful choices!
Loved our pre-theater dinner. Delightful ambiance. Service, cuisine excellent. Found the prices and corkage a bit over the top. All-in-all a great Italian dinner experience.
The menu is pricey. The food is good but not $40+ per person. Least expensive glass of wine is $14, and not worthy of price. It used to be a reasonably priced restaurant to go before the movies, no longer.
Our waiter must have been new,,,Service was slow and spotty, though we were one of 4 tables seated....food was good, but not hot enough,,,,
Service is always very slow but they forgot my meal and once it came it was not what I ordered
A favorite post-theater location with good Italian choices. Nice, attentive service and ambiance.
They have never disappointed. This meal, the sea bass was amazing. The sear on it was perfect. Highly recommended.
It was wonderful! Best food best people! Nice for dates! Candle on the table cozy place.
I always enjoy Cucina Venti and took friends who remembered it from a previous visit several years ago. They, too, enjoyed it. It was festively decorated for the holidays, and we enjoyed our meal very much.
Everything was fine but they were out of one entree and one dessert!! Busy night
Had a wonderful business lunch here. Food was phenomenal and the client was very happy. We were able to easily conduct our business conversation as well. Thanks so much!
Beautiful evening with great food! Love this place!
Food was great. Order the house red, at $9 per glass, it was a good value. Noise level was high; not so high that you couldn't talk, but close.
We arrived at 8:50 PM for a 9:00 PM reservation via Open Table that was accepted. Sadly, the manager greeted us and although there were 15 diners still present, he said the kitchen was closed and there was nothing he could do. He was pretty rude and dismissive, never an apology and when we pointed out it was before closing, there were still diners present and they had accepted Open Table reservation, he said that was Open Table's problem. Then they marked my reservation as though I had not shown up. Ouch.
I have been to Cucinba Venti many times in the past ten years or so and have always had a good meal. Pastas and appetizers especially are excellent. I was a bit taken aback this time by the prices, which seemed higher than I remember, hence my "fair" rating on "Value." $114 for lunch (2 pastas and four glasses of wine) is more of a special occasion than an regular thing.
First of all the place is super intimate and had amazing ambiance. So pretty and warm! The service was great - our food came out super speedy. It was fresh and really tasty. Would eat here again.
Nice Italian Restauraut! Parking no so good. Will go again sometimes for casual eating.
