It was good
Perfect nice place to eat before a Shoreline event
The food and drinks were delicious! The atmosphere was elegant and delightful- impeccable taste. All servers were very courteous and professional. There may have been a missing bartender and/or server or cook, as things seemed a little delayed at times. It was not really a problem, as we enjoyed being there and we were in no hurry. That just means the people there working did a fabulous job working extra efficiently.
I want to emphasize the quality of the food. The bread, the salad, and every item on my plate with seared scallops were amazing! iBravo!
A very nice hidden Italian gem in Mountain View. This place is better than most places in South Bay in terms of authenticity and quality of food. Service with a smile and prompt attention was plentiful. We are regulars here and would highly recommend the innovative cuisine, fresh food and great service. I'd suggest a more extensive wine list (Both by bottle and glass). All in all a great place.
It was very nice.
Delightful experience. Excellent food, service, ambience. We had a group of 8, too large for the dining room, and would have accepted two tables for 4, but the eager wait staff arranged a large table in the patio area that was perfect in every way. Everyone enjoyed their dishes, and the service was helpful and prompt.
I've dined at Cucina Venti numerous times for business lunches, however, this was a first time to enjoy dinner. The wait staff was very attentive even though the dining room was full. The seating was comfortable, lively ambiance, but not too loud for conversation. The specialty cocktails were very good and the menu robust and everything we shared was good.
Fantastic food. John provide top notch service. Try the Manhattan.
Cucina Venti is one our favorite dining spots. The servers are all so friendly and personable. Plus, the food is fantastic!
Very disappointed where my wife and I were seated next the side door where everyone were coming in and out. Very noisy and you should had sat us in the parking lot. Between the fair service and food, not sure we're coming back.
Enjoyed a nice evening on the patio and the paella was delicious!
First time to this restaurant and we were very pleased with everything!
Excellent food - fresh fish - delightful salad. Great for Pear Theatre or Shoreline Movie goers.
Reservations at 11:30am on a Friday for two people to celebrate birthday. We were the first inside table to be seated. Asked if could sit on a bigger table, told no and was seated on a small table for two between two other small tables. Left at 1:30pm and only one other table inside had guests in the entire restaurant the whole time we were there. Waiter was terrible, acted like we were a burden, had to wave him down for everything. There were guests seated outside and he would pass our table every time he came in and out—but wouldn’t acknowledge us. Terrible service. Won’t come back and will not recommend. We liked the location and were hoping we found a new regular spot to meet for work lunches. Disappointing.
Great food and service. We were there for father's day lunch. Sat on the patio which was very nice. Everything was really wonderful. Melon prosciutto app, apple and green salad, and grilled salmon entree. Affogato for dessert. All heaven.
Great experience, excellent food. A very pleasant, unhurried dinner. We'll be back.
Great Italian Food consistently. Thank you.
If you are near Moffet Field or at the Computer Museum or the moves on Shoreline, don't miss this place.
This was third time we've eaten here, but first time we've eaten on the back patio. Very nice and quiet on that Saturday night. Very enjoyable.
Its convenient for pre-show at Shoreline. Flatbreads are good, salads are too, entree's just ok
It was absolutely fantastic! We had a great time. Our favorite was the sausage and honey flatbread. It is a must have!
The service was also very good. I just think it’s a little pricey, but we had a wonderful time, so not complaining!
Our food was great and our server Cassandra was outstanding.
We ordered appetizers that were delicious and our main meals were also great. I ordered the Branzino and my wife the scallops. The mains were really big and we were only able to get thru a small portion of our meals. We asked for our meals to be boxed, and to our dismay when we opened the box the next day for a quiet left overs dinner there was only a small piece of fish. There were no scallops etc. Disappointing as we were looking forward to our take away. FYI our bill was + $300
We called the restaurant the next day and the lady asked if we wanted to report the server to the Manager. Our server was great and not the one who cleared our plates and took the instructions to box the food.
There did not seem to be an apology forthcoming which I find rather disappointing.
Cucina Venti is one of our favorite restaurants. The servers always remember us and inquire about how we're doing, even if they're not our server, they'll still stop by and ask how we are. This time we had a new server who was very gracious. She suggested the branzino, which lived up to her recommendation. The food was delicious, the service was efficient and pleasant.
Loved this restaurant, so tasty and amazing attentive service!
Food was ok. Our server was good...albeit not a lot of attention to detail or our needs. We had to flag down for water and drinks. Tables were really close than what used to be before so instead of listening to each other, we were hearing our next door noisy table 😟
Overall the food was ok but has been better before. Will have to think before we come back for Italian...against other options
Everything was awesome. Had such a nice anniversary dinner. Our server John was very attentive but didn’t hover 😃
I have been to Cucina Venti a handful of times and it's always been great! Tuesday night was exceptional The service was outstanding, the food was impossibly good, and the wine was some of the best I've ever had!
Love this place! The food is creative and outstanding, the atmosphere warm and inviting more like being in someone's living room than a restaurant and everyone from the maitre de to the waitstaff were friendly , excellent and professional. Truly a gem tucked away in Mountain View and right near Century 16 if you are going to a movie!
This was our second visit in 3 weeks. The first visit was good, just had a new waiter. Expected better this time and was greatly disappointed. Called ahead to arrange a table we wanted to sit at and were told no way. When we arrived we sat next to that table( empty) and when that party arrived they didn’t want to sit there and were told they had no choice either. The host, Connor, was less than accommodating, common at places that have adequate business. They seem to cater to bigger parties and couples get way less attention. They seemed to have completely different staff than the previous visit. The bigger tables in the center are way too close together and the staff repeatedly bumped into us trying to squeeze in between their table and ours. It took 15 minutes to get someone to our table, then 35 minutes to get our salads, the place was only about 60% full, so no excuse for that slow of service. I really don’t like to give any kind of negative review but I felt that I should in this I instance. I won’t be returning even though the food was good, it takes more than that to have a great restaurant.
Fancy drinks including cold smoke. Not a great selection of draft beers. Waitress was friendly and helpful in food selections.
Great choice before a show at The Pear. We had a group of 7 and needed 3 receipts....at first waiter said he couldn't do it because they were too busy and it would take too long....but he came through in the end, which made paying so much easier and his tip bigger!
When we arrived, several team members exclaimed "Ahh i love this place" due to the ambiance. The waiter was excellent at helping us with several vegan requests, and one gluten free. The service and food were outstanding. We could talk and it was not too loud, always a good thing for a team gathering. I really recommend this place. Close to work. A little slice of Italy!
Great food and service. Very affordable and nice ambiance. Definitely going there again
While our server seemed very young, he was well trained and did an excellent job.
The food was excellent. We had Fettucinni Alfredo with duck confit ( shredded duck dark meat) -very tasty. The something-or-other bolognese (pasta in a red sauce with meat) was excellent, as was the spinach salad, which came with a lightly creamed raspberry vinaigrette.
My only complaint is with the prices. While most of the pasta dishes were just under $20, my wife's alfredo was $25. The least expensive glass of wine was $14. With a bottle of Pellgrino, one glass of wine (not one each) and no dessert, our bill came to $90. Ouch.
I loved it so much I went back again the next night! Really cosy space that could easily be located in Italy somewhere (reminded me of a restaurant I used to visit a lot in Sicily but could also be in Tuscany, Umbria, Veneto). Service was attentive but not over-bearing and the food was really excellent. The cheese board appetiser was really nicely laid out, with loads of variety including cheeses and fruit/bread etc, but the portions were perfectly sized rather than being over-filling. The sausage and chicken paella is outstanding. The second night I learned my lesson and only ate the paella as it is filling in a really satisfying way. However, if it hadn't been so late and the kitchen was closing, I might have been tempted to go back around the Tiramisu from the previous night, which was also silky and delicious. Only thing to watch for is that they close relatively early but other than that, I loved it.
Great food and atmosphere, a very traditional Italian meal!
I've been dining here for about 10 years back when it was called Pizzeria Venti. It is my office staff's favorite place to go when I take them out to lunch. For lunch, I recommend the steak sandwich, and for dinner, I recommend the beet salad and the spaghetti con vongole. High quality food, impeccable service and reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
Excellent service, cuisine was outstanding, great wine and drink service and options, terrific venue for business or pleasure dining
Very nice surprise - a very good restaurant in a strip center. Waiter was a bit annoying but the food was top notch. We each had a salad. I loved my mango salad and my Mediterranean Sea Bass. The mixture the fish came on was cold which was a bit of a surprise. It included ordinary black olives; they should have been kalamata.
Love this place! Delicious food, great service, beautiful ambience. Highly recommend!
Lovely spot in the middle of Mountain View. Great food and might I add - lovely restroom! WoW! :)
