Traditional Caesar salad prepared tableside
Pancetta, egg yolk, parmesan, cream sauce
Housemade potato gnocchi in spicy tomato sauce, paired with spinach and ricotta ravioli topped with a fontina, parmesan, gorgonzola, goat cheese cream sauce
Amateur Italian restaurant. Servers did not know who was covering our table multiple times. Caesar salad was not prepared tableside as advertised. Pasta was basic. Not the intimate, delicious experience I expected.
Excellent, fast service. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The food was all delicious, especially the ravioli (from the pasta duo) and the pollo Marsala. Courses were well-paced, and portions were just the right size to be able to have 4 courses without feeling overly stuffed.
excellent food and the chef was willing to accommodate a special request
We had clients in town and had a very nice meal. One guest is actually visiting from Italy and had some comments of his own, but that's to be expected. He was pleased to find real Italian wine on the menu from his region. Just a touch pricey.
This is a 5 star Resteraunt !! I am shocked at the over all quality and food quality! Unbelievable experience!
Went there for a birthday dinner but we were sat infront of the kitchen despite the many open tables. It was too loud where we were and the kitchen kept crashing dishes or glasses together and it was disruptive and hard to hear our waiter
Very nice atmosphere. All staff very attentive and friendly.
I booked 1 day prior to evening, we were seated right buy the bathrooms and the kitchen. I was expecting better even though I didn’t ask to move. We ordered drinks 3 margaritas and 1 martini the appetizers came before the drinks. The service left a lot to be desired.
The food however was excellent. I would probably book somewhere else before going back.
The food was amazing. I had the Veal Parmigiana and my daughter had the Spaghetti Carbonara. Both were superb, my daughter said it was the best carbonara she has ever had.
Dessert was a super-intense warm chocolate fudge - truly delicious.
Great food and service!
The food was amazing ! Service was too notch! it was in a old historic building also, very cool!
Everything was again amazing. The service is excellent. The rich sauce with the Salmon outstanding,
Overall, another great experience. The kitchen was a little slow this evening, but the staff did everything to make it right. (Thus the 4 stars… other than the kitchen delays, which we’ve never had before, the service was 5 star)… The Tuta Grande was fantastic. The spinach ricotta ravioli was simply outstanding! The salmon and prawns which my spouse had was also an outstanding choice. This is a great restaurant right near the heart of SLC.
It was a great dinner at a restaurant that my daughter had wanted to go to for about a year. Great ambiance and the wait staff was great as well. I will definitely go back.
Margarita was our server and not only was she incredible, we’re pretty sure it’s the most delicious meal we have ever eaten. We shared an appetizer, pasta duo, salad, risotto, entree and tiramisu dessert - sampling every section of the menu and everything was flawless and flavorful. It feels like you’re whisked away to Italy in the middle of downtown Salt Lake City. The pricing is higher but it’s totally worth it for the quality of food and service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
First time there. The appetizers were fantastic. The food for all 6 of us was very very good. The deserts were excellent. Service was very good too. We will return for sure.
We used to go to this restaurant quite regularly but haven’t gone for a few years. We were really disappointed. The food was so mediocre. Our neighbor ordered the veal and it was tough and overcooked. I had the seafood in the spicy marinara dish that was $44 and they forgot to put the shrimp in the dish si they bring it separately on a plate! My wife had a chicken dish that was really dry and overcooked. The service was very average. They weren’t even that busy. We won’t be going back. Over priced in mediocre
I’ve been here before and had a good experience. This time was quite bad. We were forgotten about initially for quite a while. Service did not improve from there. Will not be returning.
Over the years my family and I have visited this restaurant many times. Although the food and prices remain quite good, the service during our meal was rather poor. Although much of the problem relates to understaffing, our server was clearly frustrated and did not do much to hide her frustrations. Not sure we will eat here again in the future.
Meal was delicious. Would have liked to not be by the kitchen.
Both the food and the service was outstanding g. We will be back
The service was fast and efficient. All courses of the food were wonderful. Our table of four had a variety of Antipastas and meal, and all were very good.
Made reservation for 39th anniversary. Service was good. Food was average. Did not find food up to what we expected from reviews. Not bad, but not what expected from reviews or menu. Also was surprised to find Halibut in my wife’s seafood dish over cooked which is unacceptable for restaurant of this caliber.
Always a wonderful experience with amazing food and service. One of the most expensive restaurants in SLC, but you must experience it when the occasion demands the best experience.
Food was very slow coming out of the kitchen. Sauce on the Salmone Mustardo separated. Lasagna so-so. Clams made one of my guests ill. Been wanting to go here for a long time. Was generally disappointing.
Great service with attention to detail. Wide selection of Italian dishes served in an authentic manner.
The food was incredible! My super picky ten year old ate almost her whole meal which says something. Our server Margarita was wonderful, very attentive and polite. I highly recommend this place for a fancy and elegant but not over the top dining experience. We will definitely be going there again.
Food and service were exceptional, as always. Highly recommend.
We celebrated our anniversary here and the whole experience was excellent. The food, wine, and service was incredible and we look forward to returning again soon.
Second time I’ve eaten here and it was just as excellent as the first time. Best food in SLC! ❤️
One of our favorite restaurants downtown SLC. Great atmosphere and consistently well prepared food. Molto bene.
The food and cocktails are always exceptional. The only disappointment was that the restaurant was understaffed for our visit. It took more than an hour for the one waiter working the restaurant to reach us and take our drink and food selection orders.
the best risotto and caesar salad I have ever had, and i have had a lot! great job all around. i will definitely be back when i return to SLC!!!
Everything was absolutely amazing and always is here. Knowledgeable staff, kind, and attentive. One of Utah’s best for Italian food.
Excellent service and atmosphere! Everyone was amazing! The food was very good, but it could have a little more flavor.
Service was extremely slow. We sat for nearly half hour before anyone even brought us water or a menu. Probably short staffed. Food was great as usual.
After being seated, it took a while for us to get a server. From there, our server would disappear. I had to ask the buss person to find our server. The food was good. We had the lasagna and the seafood tomato sauce with halibut. The ambiance was nice.
Food was good but not great so it is slightly overpriced.
This is a nice place to eat! The staff is enjoyable, the food delicious, and the ambiance upscale. I have eaten here twice now and each time the guests I brought to dinner had nothing but wonderful things to say. Cheers!
