    It was our first visit … upon entering instead of smelling the mouth-watering aromas of Italian cuisine we had anticipated, we could only smell a sewer-like smell. The interior of the building looked run-down, shabby, & unclean. We requested to eat outside on the porch which was lovely. The entrees we ordered were not what we expected. The seasoning was overpowering & the presentation was not optimal. We ate very little of the entrees as the heat of the spices was overpowering. The service was EXCELLENT! Wait staff was attentive & courteous. Wine list extensive & flavorful. The salad prior to the meal & desert afterward were both outstanding. They did adjust our tab due to being unable to eat the entrees that were extremely hot & spicy which was gracious. I will give them a second chance & select a different entree.

    Brought family here for anniversary dinner and Father’s Day. Everything was perfect for us and even our 18 month old was treated like royalty. Food was exceptional especially the scallops and limoncello cake! We will be back next time we are at Amelia!

    Chicken park was oddly made of what seemed to be large cut up pieces rather than a filet. Chicken Carbonara was quite good.

    This was our first time dining here, we came to celebrate our anniversary. Everything about our dinner made our anniversary very special. Our waitress Eve was wonderful, the food and wine was excellent!! We will definitely be back!

    Fantastic seafood cioppino and Caesar salad. Friendly, attentive and professional staff. Great charming ambience. Highly recommend for authentic Italian food, especially seafood.

    We had an amazing meal at Cucina. Our server Kathy was so knowledgeable about every dish and so pleasant. The service was amazing. The food was excellent. We shared a small portion of the vodka sauce with sausage and we could not finish it. We wanted to because it was amazing but we had two entrees coming. My husband had the scallops and they were perfectly seared and delicious. I had the osso boco which was fall off the bone delicious which was accompanied with creamy polenta. Best polenta I ever had. I wish I lived here it would be a weekly visit for us, Thank you again Kathy for making our experience so memorable

    Cucina South was sheer perfection! We requested outdoor seating and enjoyed our meal on their lovely front porch. Service was flawless. Reece was always there when we needed anything, but without once interrupting our conversation. The food. Just wow. We’ve been to Italy many times and their penne took me right back there.

    Excellent Italian. Service a bit slow, but I think they were short staffed so I can’t knock them there. We enjoyed a family meal. The food was outstanding.

    Katie was great, service was great. Ambiance lacking…dark, tired decor. We can’t understand the great reviews on the food. Pasta was overdone and sticking together. Far too much marinara on one dish. The only place on the island that the shrimp was not fresh…also very salty and not sweet as we have experienced everywhere here. Caprese salad had sliced mozzarella not Buffalo mozzarella. Very disappointing. The restaurant does not deserve the higher ratings in our opinion

    Authentic freshly prepared delicious Italian dinner . My husband and I both had specials , He Mahi Mahi and I Veal Parmesan , Both delicious . From the bread and oil when seated , Creamy polenta then ending with the Chef's homemade almond cake . The entire staff that all worked together were very friendly and pleasant .     I chose this location for a date after a recommendation from a colleague who dines here semi-regularly. We started with salads, a Caesar and Butter Lettuce. Both were portioned well and fresh. I had the Osso Buca, while my date had the Linguine and Clams. All of our food was delicious. An excellent dining experience, from the food to the service. Next time we’ll have to save time for dessert!

    Our server Cathy was attentive and friendly. The ambiance was very nice. I had the Osso buco and my wife had seared scallops, we both absolutely loved our meals. Cucina is definitely going to be a date night favorite. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    Some of the dishes had the protein over cooked. The sausage was almost crispy and dried out to which the flavors were gone. The shrimp was also overcooked but not as bad. On the positive side the flavors of the dishes were spot on. Once the get the timing down it has great potential. Good sauces with flavors to match. Need a cook that would do the plan justice.
