Always great service reasonable prices and great specials too
Great ambiance. Food has declined in quality and taste. The meatballs were awful and spongy when they used to be fantastic and tasted homemade. Pastas were drowning in sauce and not nearly as flavorful as they used to be. Very disappointed as this was one of my favorites and has sadly gone downhill.
Advertised gluten free pizza and corkage free Wednesday’s ... no gluten free pizza and $15 corkage!! Worst waitress and manager and PIZZA!!
My family went for my sister’s birthday. We remember the food being great a few years ago but it was completely disappointing this time. Everything we ordered was bad. The calamari had no salt and was extremely chewy. The caprese salad was served in a big dirty dish with chopped up steak tomatoes with a few lumps of mozzarella. The italian wedding soup was salty and just horrible tasting and our waiter served it lukewarm and spilling onto a plate. The lasagna was all sauce and no pasta. I ordered meatballs and they were extremely tough and tasted stale. Unfortunately, we will never go there again and can’t honestly recommend it to anyone.
The food was really good! Our waiter wasn’t around much and made us late for an event we were trying to get to. Luckily the bartender helped us pay the check quickly. I don’t think all service is bad, we just good a waiter who wasn’t around.
We held a birthday party for 20 people. They were wonderful. Friendly, accommodating, efficient. Everyone ordered different entrees and they were all delicious. They brought plenty of bread and let us do multiple checks. Highly recommend and will be going back again and again.
Thanksgiving dinner
Consistently excellent in all aspects!
Had a graduation celebration. Good food. Good service. Met expectations. No "wow", but, no disappointment, either.
Perfect place to spend Easter dinner! Great food and service!
Everything was awesome! Delicious food and amazing service! My birthday dinner was perfect!
Food and service were both excellent! We will definately be back soon. Took the in-laws while they were in town and they loved it too.
We were seated immediately at 6:20. The waitress was very friendly and we had drinks with in a reasonable time. We had two small children with us who were very hungry . Unfortunately it took until after 7:40 to receive our meals . We did have salad but kids didn't eat. Children were so tired they feel asleep before eating much. The waitress seemed very frazzled and really was trying to please. food was Ok. I had veal scaloppine which was dry and the pasta didn't have much sauce. I would say that it was just OK.
My friends and I come here several times a year and hold our annual Girls Xmas dinner at this spot (the last 7 years)... it's an old favorite. But this was our last time coming. The service was horrible, unapologetically so. The server left us in the middle of taking our orders to attend to "an emergency." The only emergency we saw was her getting a glass of wine for another table. This happened a couple times were we were left in the middle of giving drink orders or meal orders without explanation. We were going to order desert but that wasn't an option, as we were handed our check and said goodbye to hastily. We decided we would not come back here again and find a new place to dine for our special nights out.
A very nice neighborhood Italian restaurant, with a large menu, good food and excellent service.
Our go to Italian restaurant. We eat there 3-5 times a month.
Good food as always. Very nice staff.
Large portions, friendly staff, great pasta and pizza
WE HAD A GROUP OF 20 TO CELEBRATE OUR DAUGHTER'S 21ST BIRTHDAY. THEY TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING. HAD NO PROBLEM WITH 1 CHECK FOR FOOD AND CASH AND CARRY FOR ALCOHOL. THE FOOD WAS GREAT AND PORTIONS LARGE. WE WOULD DINE HERE AGAIN AND RECOMMEND FOR 2 TO 20.
Great little spot with excellent service. We went on Thursday when all martinis are $5. Such a deal! You can create your own pasta dish picking from sauces and protein choices.
Had the best waiter ever, Buddy! He was attentive even with a large group of 12 like ours! Food was delicious and hearty servings with enough for left overs! Thank you you such a great evening!
Very good experience from our arrival, reception and dining. They called to confirm our reservation, our table was ready, waiter was attentive and not pushy and the restaurant team worked in a efficient way.
I'm really glad I had my 20th Birthday dinner here. I enjoyed the beautiful lights and decor. The food was amazing!
We had a group of 6 and enjoyed good Italian meals, freshly prepared and served in good style. Portions were enormous. Wine was good.
I came here for dinner when I asked my fiancé to marry me and we always came back when I asked her parents for there ok to marry her. It was a great experience and I would definitely come back again, the food, the drinks, the wine, the waiters, and the overall customer service was great. Not to mention, this place is 100% better than Olive garden.
We came here as a large group to carb-load before a running relay. And it did not disappoint. The lasagna was wonderful, very reasonably priced, and came with salad. And our server was very good as well. Not anything out of the ordinary for an italian restaurant; but was very good if that is what you are in the mood for. Plus, it was easy to revise the time on my reservation, which I appreciated!
I like this restaurant. I like the ambiance. Wednesday night is 1/2 price wine night or no cork-age so a bunch of us gals use this night to BYOB and have a fun time catching up in a nice setting that's not too loud and the servers don't pressure you to move on (we usually keep a table for 2 hours). The caprese salad is delish and large enough to be shared as an appetizer for 4 + people or eaten as an entree. The other 4 diners at my table didn't rave about their food but seemed satisfied. My "eggplant parmigiana" was terrible. Over cooked,breaded-crunchy eggplant cutlets over overcooked fettuccine. Yuck Yuck - don't order this please. You will not get what you were expecting when you think of eggplant parm. All being said I will definitely give it one more try in hopes that the chefs were just having a bad night.
Had a less than great experience. They messed up my pasta order and I just ended up returing it and sharing my husbands pizza. His pizza was so so....this place is usually amazing. Maybe an off day? We will give it another try but a little disappointed.
It was wonderful all the way. Food was so delicious and the wine excellent! The ambience was wonderful.
Everything was great we look forward to coming back.
Good service. Friendly staff, did not rush us at all
Try the Chicken Parm with white sauce. Soooooooooooooo Good..........
This is a really casual open plan restaurant. The have a decent but not elaborate wine list by the glass. The server was attentive.
The best part was the food which is fresh, flavorful and abundant.
I've been here numerous times and I highly recommend it of your in the mood for some classically good Italian food. Meatballs and bread is amazing. They also have a unique twist on the caprese salad, which is a must order...recommend sharing it with one other person though.
Made a reservation for 12 about 4 hours prior to arriving. Had no problem accommodating us.
Food was great and service was as well. Very enjoyable and we will definitely return.
We always came here when the place first opened with the roman family, you have kept up the recipes very well! It's a comfy hip place for our family gatherings! Love gluten free free options! Shelia is very sweet!
Cute restaurant with a fun vibe!
Our family has for the last seven years traditionally celebrated a family member's birthday with a Duffy boat cruise on the harbor followed by an early dinner. Our choice for the most part has been to go to Roman Cucina, which has changed names to Cucina Roma. The restaurant's food, service, and ambience are great-- we've never been disappointed - and we were happy to see that the change in name and presumably management didn't change any of the above. Great place for a couple to dine or a group-- either way you can't miss!
Cucina Roma is a great little gem. The food was excellent (I had the shrimp & langostino) and so was the service. Prices were very reasonable. I'd definitely come back.
Even better service with the new ownership, same great menu, we are never disappointed!
