It was a business lunch. Everything was fine.
Sister visiting from out of town. Restaurant staff could not have been friendlier. Food was great. Glad I picked the place for lunch!
Enjoyed Mother’s Day at Cucina with my family. Great food, amazing wine and super service.
Food is Great, atmosphere wonderful and the people are fablous! I highly recommend!
Wonderful staff and delicious menu! The food is always wonderful with a lot of healthy options which is so appreciated.
Food and service were exceptional. Party of 4. All enjoyed the meal!
Food was great! I have not been there for quite a while and wonder why, now that I had such a great meal. Wayne was our server and very vibrant and fun.
We will be back!
Simply put, you can't go wrong. This restaurant is consistently good.
This was our first visit to Cucina, and in fact our first visit to Cherry Creek in a very long time (we live in Estes Park). I chose this restaurant because of its location and the contents of the menu listed on their website. My wife and I were meeting an old friend and we were shown to a nice quiet booth where we could enjoy our conversation over lunch. The waitress told us that this was her first day on the job although one would never have guessed. She was excellent. gently guiding my wife through the pizza choices until she arrived at the right one. All of the staff members we encountered were very pleasant and helpful, The soup of the day was superb, as were the turkey sandwiches both our friend and I ordered. This proved to be a delightful place for lunch and we will no doubt return the next time we are in the vicinity.
I've eaten here many times before and the quality of the food and service has been diminishing over time. My pasta was undercooked and the sauce was broken and flavorless. The other diners all remarked about their disappointment with the food. The bread/oil was sadly, the highlight. Our server seemed more interested in chatting with his coworkers than taking care of our table. Cherry Creek is full of great places for lunch so we'll probably start going elsewhere.
We had a wonderful and very enjoyable dinner with friends. Service was quick, polite, and attentive without being bothersome. The fettuccini was great as was the lava cake for desert. We will definitely be back.
Excellent as always, this one of my very favorite restaurants. Dining on the patio is always more quiet. Indoors can get loud.
Always a reliable, nice place to dine. Great outdoor patio.
Birthday dinner was perfect
Disappointing experience overall. Not having wines listed on the wine menu, getting one of the orders incorrect, and bringing our food out at different times aside from the inaccuracy was unfortunate. Offered to bring more salads while we waited for the second meal, yet charged us for the first one. Seemed like a real lack of focus...
Good old neighborhood standby. Good food good service. Will be back
No attention was given to the fact I had requested a booth for a special occasion. Thus we did not have one.
Food was great.
Service was good, a little slow at times but was given a comp dessert.
This restaurant is always so dependable for quality and ambiance. Plus they have free parking in the back. It's my go to place.
Consistently great meals and love their customer service!
food delicious; wait staff wonderful and the wine devine
Great food and service
Cucina never disappoints. We all have our favorites--starting with the delicious bread and dipping oil. I love the conchiglie with sun-dried tomatoes and pecorino cream, and the caesar is delish. The Margherita pizza is a crowd-pleaser, though all are good. In sum, it's one of our go-to's.
I never in a million years thought I could be compelled to write a review such as this but our recent experience at Cucina Colore calls for it. We live in the neighborhood and USED to frequent this place. It was not uncommon for us to visit on a Sunday night and have a longer than average wait for service. This time was no different. As irritating as that was, we were patient, knowing it is not easy to find restaurant staff in Denver lately. What was not acceptable under any circumstances, was our waiter's reaction to our elderly Mother. In her 80's, she can repeat herself and be very direct at times. We manage her and always speak up to wait staff so they know to work through us where her requests and comments are concerned. After the long wait for service and after watching other tables not have such a long wait for service, she spoke up by telling the waiter he was not being a very good waiter to our table - in those words. Although she was telling the truth, we didn't want any type of confrontation and told him to disregard her comments. He reacted by becoming visibly upset and continuing to blow us off for the next ~half hour. When he finally came back to the table, our Mother touched his arm to ask him a question and his reaction was "Please don't touch me." Truly - the most uncomfortable, WORST restaurant experience EVER,EVER,EVER. We totally understand it is challenging to wait on some patrons - our Mother being one of those - but an upscale establishment in this price point should be well equipped to deal with any customer DIPLOMATICALLY & PROFESSIONALLY. For what you are spending at this place, this type of experience is mind blowing. To his credit, the manager on duty offered us a $50 gift card toward our next meal, which we in turn gave away. There is no possibility we will ever go back.
My husband and I are still talking about the bread served before our meal — SO GOOD! We don’t usually eat bread, but we didn’t hold back for this meal...and ordered more bread!! The service was wonderful — attentive & polite — and the restaurant overall is great. Unfortunately for me, my pasta was undercooked and the shrimp was over cooked...yet I devoured it all anyway because the flavors were amazing. I think the portions could be a bit bigger, but I’d definitely come back for more!
Drinks came late so restaurant gave free drinks and desert. Very apologetic and did what was right. Will go back again.
We had a really great experience at this restaurant and the special was great.
We went for a quick lunch on a weekday while we were in the area and had a couple of their pizzas. It was fine and we would consider returning if we were in the area but, otherwise, we wouldn't make a special trip. Our server was disinterested at best. Parking was great.
Love Cucina Calore. Excellent service, lovely ambiance, great food and accommodating to use healthier ingredients.
We had an excellent experience and I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant! The food was terrific and the service was impeccable. We were celebrating a 21st birthday and it couldn't have been more perfect!! As a side note, they were extremely careful about a life-threatening nut allergy, which we greatly appreciated.
Very good food, and friendly staff
The Service ... the food
...and the ambience was so wonderful. Extremely nice and cozy spot for date a night.
Always lovely, easy parking in the back in the heart of Cherry Creek. Servers are friendly, food is good and not too expensive.
This used to be a first rate, top notch Cherry Creek staple. This review reflects how far this restaurant has fallen. Fortunately the kitchen has retained some of the old quality when preparing good food. While our server was extremely friendly it is apparent that there is no longer any training at CC. What was a very refined approach has been replaced with little attention to detail. My dining companion was at one point actually creeped out by the person who delivered the entrees. It appears as though there is no management as employees from front and back of house stand around in view of customers conversing with eachother, ambivalent to the needs of those paying for drinks and food. This will be my last time at Cucina Colore until they surely close their doors, and are replaced with a higher quality and more deserving establishment. So very sad.
Great salads at lunch. The staff know when to be at your table and when to let you conduct business. GREATLY appreciate that!
The food was tasty with generous portions, the server was relaxed but attentive, and for a busy Saturday night the noise level was surprisingly moderate. We'll return.
After I called and told the restaurant my friend had a peanut allergy Ryan, one of the partners, made sure we got a seasoned server and ensured our food was properly handled. Not only that but the food was absolutely outstanding and the wine selection excellent. I would absolutely return and recommend to anyone!
Great as always. Ravioli and Fetuccini Bolognese both excellent. Our New Zealand friends were impressed!
Superb food and experience. The Sangria was exceptional.
I always fall back on this for the ease of parking, the consistent service and a good menu. Would LOVE to see new menu items!!
Overall not bad. Fettuccini bolognese was great. Had an issue with six of us and not all of our entrees coming out at same time. Last one was a full ten minutes behind. Waiter joked their wait staff couldn’t carry more than one plate at a time. What??
