Sat at the bar, love what they’ve done to renovate the restaurant! The peach bread pudding is so amazing! Best dessert in Denver.
Great experience — cuisine and service— really well orchestrated and delightful, airy ambiance with moderate noise. Great for a business lunch!
Always a treat. Great food and value. Great wine list.
I love Cucina Calore. I have visited numerous times as it's close to home and business. The specials are always amazing!
My most frequent visit was with a group of 6 for a business dinner. The service, food and atmosphere was perfect.
Thank you for consistency in being great!
Nice evening, low key, able to carry on a conversation.
I come for the food!! I always look forward to dining here on my annual trip to Denver, 10 years running. This time I had the Caprese with burrata- divine! Great ravioli funghi, too, and an excellent wine suggestion from my waiter. The ‘urban’ decor is top notch.
Cucina Colore is a great gem in Cherry Creek North.
My family and I have truly enjoyed Cucina Colore for well over a decade. This is the first time we were charged $2.00 to split a salad onto two plates and the sangria that was $8.00 for many years is now up to $11.00 for the exact same drink. We go to Cucina Colore every few months and the food is delicious, but these extra charges may make us think twice before we go again. I wonder if their expansion caused the prices to go up. It’s just disappointing to a long time customer.
We absolutely loved this restaurant. It was recommended prior to coming to dinner and lived up to its reputation. Food presentation was beautiful. Service outstanding!
We Come here a lot. After expressing to the waitress for drinks or week, it continued. The five of us were very disappointed because we were all in agreement
Delicious food and great gluten free pasta!
Carpaccio was a amazing and the drinks were very tasty! Highly recommend.
Once again a very good meal at CUCINA Colore. Very nice choices on the menu and a very predictable “go to” restaurant in Cherry Creek.
took my wife there for her eighty fifth birthday, and had a wonderful experience. our waiter, john, was great, very personable and knew the menu. he certainly added to our delightful evening. food was great, except the calamari, which is fantastic, is too much for two old people, but we gave it the old college try. the only negative was the noisy table with two little children, but that can't be controlled. we definitely will return.
I visited Cucina Colore a few years ago and thought it was just OK. The reviews are pretty good and I thought I’d try it again. My server was very attentive. The food was very average - nothing special. Very ordinary Caesar salad. Below average veal piccata. I tried tiramisu fir dessert and it was blah. Also a Cosmo on arrival was not great. I really wanted to like this dinner but was disappointed
We have been going to Cucina since the first week they opened MANY YEARS AGO!
We have seen a lot of changes believe me!
Different managers, wait staff etc, but it is still number uno on our dining list!
Mangiamo a Cucina Colore stasera!
Scallops were overlooked and chewy. Did not appreciate 20 per cent gratuity being added to bill.
I found Cucina Colore to be very disappointing. We booked lunch (to celebrate my wife's birthday) but when we arrived the young lady who greeted us wasn't interested/listening, so despite saying we were waiting for another person (there were 2 of us) she still tried to seat us at a booth for 2. When we sat down, the service was very good. We ordered the Calamari to start and had some bread - both were which were very good. The waiter did seem awfully keen to remove items on the table though despite the fact we were still eating them. The main course arrived and it was that that was really disappointing. 2 Of us had the Penne with Italian sausage, broccolini, garlic, tomato, asiago cheese and chili flakes. The tomatoes were whole plum tomatoes and there were 6 of them - way too many and overpowering for the size of the plate. The broccolini was the wrong choice as it was 95% stalk and very little head. They forgot the chili flakes so I asked for some to put on myself. Basically it was a fairly average Penne and sausage that was no better than any other restaurant/bar. To be fair, my wife enjoyed her conchiglie. We ordered a desert of Chocolate Lava cake to share but again, the waiter seemed overly keen to remove this and prompted my mother in law to eat the last piece so he could clear the plate. For the price and quality, I certainly would not recommend Cucina Colore as I do not believe you get anything like value for money.
We eat here frequently and always enjoy our meal. We like the comfortable, relaxed atmosphere, great service, and food choices. Some of our favorite menu items include the Calamari appetizer, the Bolognese, and the Pastaless Lasagna. And don’t forget the bread pudding! The Arnold Palmer has a lightly sweet, floral taste and they have a great selection of wine, too. Suitable for dining alone, with friends, or children. We love sitting on the patio and there is free parking!
Typically, I really like Cucina Colore. My lunch there last week was not a good experience. Our waitress was not attentive, she brought the wrong check at the end of the meal and charged us for the incorrect meal!
The pizza, usually delicious, was soggy, the salad, mediocre. Just a off day all the way around.
Re-review- just a wonderful place for a weekend lunch after shopping in Cherry Ceeek North or Cherry Creek Mall. Smaller so reservations are a good idea but we were able to be seated very quickly. Nice bar area if you have to wait and a nice patio on 3rd Aveneue and also in the side street if al fresco is appealing. Menu for lunch has salads which are really delicious, sandwiches with good Italian meats (Muffeletta) on ciabatta or focaccia and nice pasta dishes too. Everything is tasty but pasta is especially good. Portions are not gigantic but nice sized. Service is very thoughtful and not intrusive. Ladies restroom is bad though. Clean but no ventilation. They do need to improve that issue.
Unusually flavorful food, nice menu, quick and pleasant service. A winner in the neighborhood.
Brought friends from Oregon to Cucina Colore for dinner. They both enjoyed their entrees and wine choices. My wife swears by the fettucine Bolognese so she ordered it and loved it as always. Says it's the best FB in town.
I ordered the special, a rather unusual one, a chicken lasagna with alfredo sauce. I did eat it all, so I can't say I didn't like it, but I was kind of surprised at the toughness of the chicken meat. It tasted like it had been grilled or something and grilled too long. As a result it was pretty chewy stuff. But like I said, I ate it all.
We've been to Cucina Colore many times and expect to keep going many more times. Highly recommended.
Had birthday dinner; Service oriented approach would have been to offer a dessert Complementary,or a candle in the desert we ordered
We went primarily for the peach bread pudding which was AWESOME; however, we were pleased with the menu options, the food was great, service attentive and our final bill was reasonable. Highly recommend.
Having moved away from CO and back for a long weekend, we decided to visit one of our former favorites from living in Cherry Creek. Cucina Colore did not let us down. The food options and wine selection were wonderful - and the service was exceptional. Both Lizzie and Kyle were engaged, personable and on top of things.
Since they have added their bar area to the restaurant, probably a bit more enjoyable and functional. Love the booths and the outside tables. Food is a bit pricey but really worth it every now and then. Parking is not too hard on the weekends And a bit more challenging during the week at prime dinner time.
Took the kids and we all loved the food and had a nice dinner together!
Lovely resturant, enjoyed the experience and the management there was outstanding. Food came out in a timely manner and taste to perfection.
Wonderful food and service. Would recommend highly
Lovely well prepared meal served with grace and the utmost concern for our comfort. The food is generously portioned, fresh and delicious. The restaurant itself is nicely appointed with wide comfortable booth and a lovely shady patio if you want to sit outside. We started with the Brussels sprout appetizer which was a share sized bowl of crispy sprout leaves and pancetta with a Dijon mustard sauce drizzled on top and the Caprese salad with a reduced balsamic and olive oil dressing. The house made mozzarella was rich and delicious. For entrees we had a pizza with shrimp in a scampi sauce that had just the right amount of garlic and a thin crust cooked in the wood fired oven. I had a yummy salad with wood grilled chicken breast that was juicy and smokey and lightly dressed with a vinaigrette and a sprinkle of ricotta ensalata. The only disappointment was the Muffaletta sandwich which had a lot of bread for the amount of meat, rendering it slightly dry. A dip into the flavorful olive oil dipping sauce for the house made faccacia remedies that issue. The meat in the sandwich was too delicious to be hidden in so much bread. For dessert, light as air tiramisu finished off a great meal. It was nice and quiet in the restaurant and we could actually hear each other- a rarity in Denver restaurants these days. Free parking behind the restaurant was much appreciated in crazy Cherry Creek North.
One of the best restaurants n Denver! The salmon is terrific
The restaurant is very well appointed. Wait staff are friendly. Special dietary accommodations are awful. Finally, got the main dish correct after the third try. The request was simple, not at all complicated, simply a matter of leaving out allergens/sensitive ingredients. The waiter complained about the kitchen not listening to him and even knowing this delivered the main course with the wrong ingredients. We have eaten at CC a number of times over the years and this issue recurs intermittently.
My friend and I had a great meal at Cucina Colore. We both had a glass of sangria and the pasta less lasagna. Very good dish! One of my favorite restaurants in the area.
A different take on Italian. Fettucine with Veal bolognese and Linguini with Salmon were both outstanding.
No option for 4+--it is consistently good. I eat there all the time, and I am never disappointed.
Had some friends in town, tried to get reservations at another restaurant, but none available. Saw this restaurant on this website, the menu and reviews looked good, so I gave it a try. I'm glad I did. Our waiter (Nathan) was attentive, but not intrusive, the food was amazing. Goat cheese, and bruscetta appetizers, the wild mushroom ravioli were simply put off the charts. I will be back.
Delightful ambiance. Good menu choices. The wait staff was courteous, prompt, and attentive without being obtrusive. We were allowed to linger and continue chatting after our meal which was especially nice since we all live pretty far from one another and dont get a chance to see each other very often.
I really enjoy it here. The pasta less lasagna and tiramisu are the best!
... The tiramisu really is amazing 💕
Our waiter John was excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Never got my points for a 1000 point table, and they never had our reservation???
