Consistently great meals and love their customer service!
food delicious; wait staff wonderful and the wine devine
Great food and service
Cucina never disappoints. We all have our favorites--starting with the delicious bread and dipping oil. I love the conchiglie with sun-dried tomatoes and pecorino cream, and the caesar is delish. The Margherita pizza is a crowd-pleaser, though all are good. In sum, it's one of our go-to's.
My husband and I are still talking about the bread served before our meal — SO GOOD! We don’t usually eat bread, but we didn’t hold back for this meal...and ordered more bread!! The service was wonderful — attentive & polite — and the restaurant overall is great. Unfortunately for me, my pasta was undercooked and the shrimp was over cooked...yet I devoured it all anyway because the flavors were amazing. I think the portions could be a bit bigger, but I’d definitely come back for more!
Drinks came late so restaurant gave free drinks and desert. Very apologetic and did what was right. Will go back again.
We had a really great experience at this restaurant and the special was great.
We went for a quick lunch on a weekday while we were in the area and had a couple of their pizzas. It was fine and we would consider returning if we were in the area but, otherwise, we wouldn't make a special trip. Our server was disinterested at best. Parking was great.
Love Cucina Calore. Excellent service, lovely ambiance, great food and accommodating to use healthier ingredients.
We had an excellent experience and I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant! The food was terrific and the service was impeccable. We were celebrating a 21st birthday and it couldn't have been more perfect!! As a side note, they were extremely careful about a life-threatening nut allergy, which we greatly appreciated.
Very good food, and friendly staff
The Service ... the food
...and the ambience was so wonderful. Extremely nice and cozy spot for date a night.
Always lovely, easy parking in the back in the heart of Cherry Creek. Servers are friendly, food is good and not too expensive.
This used to be a first rate, top notch Cherry Creek staple. This review reflects how far this restaurant has fallen. Fortunately the kitchen has retained some of the old quality when preparing good food. While our server was extremely friendly it is apparent that there is no longer any training at CC. What was a very refined approach has been replaced with little attention to detail. My dining companion was at one point actually creeped out by the person who delivered the entrees. It appears as though there is no management as employees from front and back of house stand around in view of customers conversing with eachother, ambivalent to the needs of those paying for drinks and food. This will be my last time at Cucina Colore until they surely close their doors, and are replaced with a higher quality and more deserving establishment. So very sad.
Great salads at lunch. The staff know when to be at your table and when to let you conduct business. GREATLY appreciate that!
The food was tasty with generous portions, the server was relaxed but attentive, and for a busy Saturday night the noise level was surprisingly moderate. We'll return.
After I called and told the restaurant my friend had a peanut allergy Ryan, one of the partners, made sure we got a seasoned server and ensured our food was properly handled. Not only that but the food was absolutely outstanding and the wine selection excellent. I would absolutely return and recommend to anyone!
Great as always. Ravioli and Fetuccini Bolognese both excellent. Our New Zealand friends were impressed!
Superb food and experience. The Sangria was exceptional.
I always fall back on this for the ease of parking, the consistent service and a good menu. Would LOVE to see new menu items!!
Overall not bad. Fettuccini bolognese was great. Had an issue with six of us and not all of our entrees coming out at same time. Last one was a full ten minutes behind. Waiter joked their wait staff couldn’t carry more than one plate at a time. What??
Impressive as always. Cucina Colore is one our our favs...and "go to" restaurants when in cherry creek!
Service was slow.
The food is all wonderful, but if they have a special, take the plunge and try it - you won't be disappointed. If you do nothing else, have the peach bread pudding. It easily makes my top ten desserts of all time.
I hadn't visited Cocina Colore in about 8 months. Overall the evening was nice. I just found the menu to be a little boring. Two guests in the group ordered the nightly special and were very pleased. I like this restaurant, but maybe for lunch rather than dinner.
This was a special occasion for my daughter’s birthday, yet it was just okay. I believe it’s a restaurant’s obligation to ensure the best experience for a birthday celebration.
It would’ve been a nice touch to give a complimentary scoop of gelato. Our bill was over $250.00 and a simple acknowledgement would’ve made all the difference in the world. It simply wasn’t special enough to make it memorable.
We love Cecina Calore for it's ambiance, delicious Peach Sangria, Caprese Salad, Pizza.....The food is always good and the price reasonable. It always feels special.
I had the steak, and it was possibly the best I steak I have had in many many years.
First Time going for Restaurant week and it was amazing
BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! GREAT SERVICE, FANTASTIC FOOD. A NEW REGULAR PLACE TO GO.
Two people ordered from the restaurant week menu and I ordered off the regular menu. I ordered the scallop and shrimp pasta dish. It was $21. Every piece of seafood was over cooked. I told the waiter and he did nothing about it. We ordered the creme brûlée for dessert. It either had loads of alcohol in the mix or too much vanilla. Either way, most of our meal was left on the table. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
The waiter (Wayne, I think) was great..knowledgeable , helpful, and friendly. The food was delicious.
Usually my favorite restaurant. Restaurant week was disappointing. Would not accommodate my favorite menu item (special item).
We chose Cucina Calore since it was part of the Denver Restaurant Week selection of restaurants. This is usually a good way to find interesting new dining selections, and I have to say we were not disappointed. We will return.
An excellent Restaurant Week dinner for two old friends. Food, service, menu, everything was super. We both had veal picatta which was divine. I use a walker and we were seated in a booth, as requested, but way at the back of the restaurant. It would have been easier for me not to have so walk so far to the table.
Great Italian food and very good service. I recommend this place.
We were seated by one guy who didn’t seem knowledgeable about what he was doing. He disappeared and we waited a long time for anyone to take drink orders or greet us. We place an appetizer order and bottle of wine, and waited a very long time while the waiter tended to several other tables before putting in our order. Another wait person brought cocktails to our table which wasn’t ours. Another waiter brought appetizers to our table which weren’t ours. It was a continuous array of waiting and repairing mistakes. And the restaurant was not even one-quarter filled with customers. At our departure, the manager gave us a gift card and apologized for the service we received.
I was very unimpressed. We attended this restaurant for Denver restaurant week. The food was not really better than if we had gone to a discount Italian chain. The service was very bad - our waiter would disappear for extended periods, and did not show up promptly with anything that was ordered. I would not recommend.
Went there for restaurant week with my parents on a Sunday night. The server was attentive, offered tastes of wine when he couldn't quite describe them. The food was good, solid Italian. The desserts were the favorite parts of the meal for all of us.
Had a fabulous time and Angel, our server, was a blast! Food was delicious!
