Always amazing food and service.
The best part of our dinning experience was having Cookie as our server! She was energetic, knew lots about the menu and specials, cared about our experience and just made the whole night fabulous for us. There was entertainment on the cabana side, and we were able to get a couple of seats at a high top to enjoy it. Thank You Cookie!
Good food, nice atmosphere, drinks way over priced
Service was excellent. Piano music was a nice addition to dinner. Food was outstanding. We'll definitely be back. Bar side was packed and lively by the time we left. Next time we'll try the bar side a bit later.
Fun night - entertainment was good. Food ok - didn’t care for the cigar smell that was coming through walls
My fish was cooked perfectly and my kids loved the veal.
Contemporary.cold feeling, drinks are half the cost of entre, noise level high, expect more for Italian upscale resturant
Fabulous food... everything surpassed expectations. We had Veal Scallopini Sorrentino and Snapper that were both outstanding and perfectly prepared. Franco Corso, the singer was extremely good and obviously had several serious fans in the audience. We heard several selections from Phantom of the Opera. While we usually would not dine with entertainment this fit the scene and was a bonus not distraction.
Some of the food was warm and not hot. Service very very slow. Saturday night wasn’t a good experience.
Food was just ok. Calamari tasted frozen. I don’t like just the rings. I had a dinner special the fish was cooked perfect the shrimp were tough as leather. The dessert tiramisu was average. The waiter never asked if we needed another drink. Asked how everything was before we tried the food. When I told him the shrimp were over done and didn’t like the calamari he didn’t act like he cared.
Love the music at bar great fun
Great Italian food. Very good service. A lively bar with live music. One of favorite restaurants in the area
Fantastic vibe and incredible food and service. Expensive.
The food was excellent! Absolutely delicious. We will definitely go back. The piano was a bit loud for conversation but the music was very nice. The service was good and the owner was present in the dining room keeping an eye on things!
Conveniently located and beautifully decorated. Service was very good but cuisine was underwhelming.
Located in a large strip mall in North Palm Beach is this fairly new upscale Italian restaurant called Cucina Cubano. I had the pleasure of meeting with an individual who was overseeing the construction of this new restaurant sometime in the late Fall last year. I was hoping to be there for their grand opening in early January, but it wasn't until last night that I had an opportunity to dine in the piano room.
If you want to enjoy the late night live entertainment, you should request your reservations in the piano room. The piano room has a fairly large oval bar in the center of the dining room. There is also an outdoor section adjacent to the piano room which is divided by floor to ceiling glass that enables one to view and hear the entertainment. The ambiance has a contemporary appearance touch with an upscale trendy white cloth dining area.
We were a party of seven seated in the far back of the piano room. Our service was excellent and all of our chosen entrées were all very good. I had the Veal Sorrentino which I enjoyed very much.
The restaurant was exploding with lively customers that were all ready to dance and be entertained. And entertained they were. I decided to start off things by dancing with one of our party to the first of many songs by the entertainer. I believe we really woke up the crowd. It is a small dance floor which I believe should be expanded as customers leave their tables.
This was a great restaurant for the quality of their food service and entertainment. I had an opportunity to meet the owner, Aldo Conigliaro, and complimented him on creating a fabulous upscale restaurant that provided authentic Italian meals and wonderful entertainment all at very fair prices.
I ordered the Veal Francese, and it was good. However, it came served, as did most of the other dishes on the menu, with MASHED POTATOES. In an Italian restaurant? I would have much preferred to have my dish come with pasta, not mashed potatoes.
Worse, after receiving our credit card statement, we discovered our table's bill was charged to our credit card account 4 times! This totaled over $400 in charges for food we did not pay for. Calls to the restaurant have not been returned. We are now working with American Express to have the overages reversed. This process may take a few months, when the restaurant could just immediately credit the overages if they had chosen to respond to our calls.
Food was mediocre
Food was exceptional. Service was terribly slow. Then after slow service they took our waiter to tend the bar. This caused slow service to go to terrible. We were not notified. The manager tried to work the servers 5 tables, he is not a server. Dessert was served twice without spoons and the coffee. No mention of my friends 50th anniversary. All in all terrible which is a shame with the quality of food. Maybe the owner who is walking around should have tended bar.
Very good, lovely ambiance, would highly recommend for visitors when the come.
Wonderful in every way
The ravioli appetizer was excellent, but the sole franchise entree was mediocre. The food was priced too high for what it is, so I would not recommend it for dinner. On the other hand, the bar is beautiful and has a wonderful happy hour menu, so go for drinks, small plates at the bar and the ambiance.
We found that food and very were very good. The prices were excessive for the food. I didn't really care for the piano playing due to the sound level.
New name for space occupied previously an excellent local restaurant. Seems good as rated by us.
First let me say this place is amazing! I’ve gone to Cucina Cabana 4 times now since its opening January of 2018. Every visit was an amazing experience. The entertainment on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, by Ray Chang is engaging and fun! He’s absolutely wonderful. The food is delicious, well portioned and well priced. The service (waitstaff, busboys and servers) are fast, friendly and hardworking. A special shout out to the host Stephanie. She’s very sweet and accommodating. The owner has also been there each night I’ve gone and introduces himself and makes sure everyone is enjoying themselves and their dinners. Cucina Cabana has become our favorite hot spot.
We went for the entertainment, which is great! The food is good, service is good...so all in all, a really nice experience.
Great food, attentive wait staff-fun environment
Exquisite cuisine, great service & piano music made for a wonderful experience! Our first time to dine here but it certainly won’t be our last! Looking forward our next visit!
We thought this was a "new" italian restaurant. It is exactly the same as the one that closed a year ago -Borolo's. Same menu, mostly same waiters and staff.
Food is crappy - entertainment was worse than a cruise ship!
Hostess (blonde lady, mid 60's) is still as nasty as she was when she worked for the former restaurant. 2 tops are TINY! No larger than a bistro table.
Will definitely not be back.
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely return!
It’s season so reservations are a must.
Decor is fresh. Entertainment with piano player and music gets people singing and dancing. Food is good. Service was slow, but it was packed on a Saturday night. We’ll go back.
Awful service. Pedestrian food. Dramatically overpriced. This restaurant would close within a month if it were not located in a tourist town where there’s a dearth of quality restaurants. Simply, the totality of our dining experience was lackluster. We ordered a steak that was priced as if we were dining in Boston or New York and it arrived over-cooked and tough as rubber. Another diner in our party received the wrong entree. Our server did nothing to remedy either issue upon being Informed of each . Moreover, no server came by mid service to inquire if we wanted another drink with our dinner. We spoke to the manager on the way out to voice our displeasure concerning the entire experience. He was gracious and requested our contact information so he could make good. Predictably, we never heard from him or the owner after that evening. Admittedly, the restaurant was crowded the night we dined, but an alleged high end restaurant knows how to adequately staff and manage service during busy and down times.
Great food, ambiance and staff... unfortunately the wait for the food was unusually long.
Food was tasteful and plentiful
WAitress was great
Our second time here and we will be going back again
Upon arrival I gave our name party of 4 and was told that my party of 4 had to sit at the bar regardless that I made the reservations 3 weeks ago for a table for 4 in the Cabana Room. I was quite upset and they said there was nothing they could do or we could sit in the back. We didn't go there to sit in the back. I'm sure they screwed up but didn't want to admit it. I have never had a problem booking a table through open table in the past. If they don't want to deal with open table then they should exclude themselves and just let people Call to reserve.
Food good, but not as good as last visit. Bronzini was so-so.
This place just reopened with new owner and redecorated. Menu all new and interesting fare with obvious Italian flare. Portions are generous and delicious! Fish is purchased across the street at the Fish store so you can be sure its fine.
Wine list needs work but they are working on it. Highly recommend!
Great food and awesome deserts. Server was very helpful and patiently answered all of our question. His suggestions were great. Thanks and kudos to all.
We were so excited to see our friend Ray Chang performing there. The food and atmosphere was phenomenal. All the servers and wait-staff are amazing. Quick, courteous and sweet. The food was so delicious! A recommended place indeed.
