Cucina & Co. - Rockefeller Center
It was great place to meet frineds at lunch. The service is fast, the good was great. Nothing beats the location. If you love the city vibe this is it.
The salad with shrimp was delicious!
The cheeseburger pattie was dry
Lunch time spot quick food service and lunch food
The hostess was a bit overwhelmed, which is understandable given the fact that it’s the holidays and there’s probably more people than normal in the restaurant. But our server, David M, was PHENOMENAL! He was quick and thoughtful, an all around amazing server. Thank you for making our experience amazing!!
place is good but only that
I was thankful we made a reservation as there was a line when we arrived. We were seated within a few minutes. Tables were close together and the atmosphere was buzzing with activity, lots of noise, but not so loud that you couldn't hear each other talking. Service was excellent, food was great, pricey but to be expected for the location. Restaurant was set in what felt like a mall. Lower level of Rockefeller Center. Across the "mall" was open seating for people to watch the skaters.
Table was ready when we got there. Service took a long time. Server was pleasant but was either too busy or inattentive. Food was low quality for the price. 20.00 for small bowl pasta kids meal is ridiculous. Pasta dish tasted like ragu and penne. Just so so. Would book elsewhere next time.
I made reservations for after the show at RCMH. We were seated fairly quickly but our table was outside the main dining area in the concourse. It was very busy and noisy. On a positive note, the food was very good and prepared quickly. There was a price fix menu ($36 for app, entree & dessert). Overall a good value for NYC in a touristy section.
Girls Xmas Gift weekend ❤️
Worked out GREAT for our family after the Rockettes. Perfect for kids and adults. Our waitress was VERY good. Wanted to be by “the tree” so location was very good.
Very attentive and polite waitstaff. Just OK food. I get it that they are just churning it out to the masses. It is easy to get in and out, even on a crowded day.
Cucina & Co. is always a part of our holiday experience in NYC. Great for families with young children.
Reasonably priced compared to the other restaurants around. It's in the underground concourse at Rockefeller center so can be a little noisy, especially around the holidays. The food was delicious. The white cranberry cosmo cocktail was so delicious we both ended up ordering another.
Service was great. We were a very large party with several kids. They were prepared and patient throughout. Good selections for the kids and great salad and apps for the adults.
We booked for Christmas dinner and we were very disappointed. The turkey dinner meal was served with vegetables that were gone bad - we alerted the waitress and she brought some other vegetable. We were not given new dinner plates and the spoilt vegetables remained there whilst we tried to navigate around it to get to the turkey. The manager did not come to see us or apologize or as a courtesy not charge us and our Christmas dinner was ruined.
It was Christmas so we expected the restaurant to be busy. We were seated right away. Waiter did not get our order 100% right but we worked around it. Waited probably 30 minutes to get our credit card back when we paid our bill. Our waiter disappeared for over 30 minutes. Really got worried about where it was during that time. The other table next two us with two young boys waited about 39 minutes or so before someone even came to their table.
Lovely very busy. Pleasant staff. Good food
We are a Family of five who had Christmas lunch there (3 adults and 2 kids aged 12 and 14). The service was excellent and food was very tasty. We recommend it for Christmas lunch for your family
Muy buen restaurante excelente ubicación, servicio y calidad de gran nivel!!
Food was great, good service. One thing only, couldn’t split the check. But we ended up paying with 2 credit cards.
Great place to take a break from sight seeing. Nice casual lunch .... not too fancy, definitely an upgrade from the food court . Great option when taking your teenagers to the city for a family outing over holiday break.
Perfect lunch spot in Rockefeller center. Location location location
We needed 2 more seats and they gladly accomodated US
The food was very good and the staff very welcoming. THEY make lovely cocktails and the menu choices were excellent. A lovely holiday destination.
Waited in line and Informed hostess of our reservation (arrived before our actual reservation time) Hostess never came back to us to say anything Watched as "walk ins" were able to get tables After about another 10 minutes asked the SAME hostess "whats going on with our reservation? She said "Oh what was the name again? Told her AGAIN and after a few more minutes she said they had a table ready. Now prior to this we could clearly see that they had plenty of empty tables and were seating "walk ins". I dont think having a reservation made any difference and found it pretty much to be first come first serve which is not only a bad reflection on Cucina & Co but also on the Open Table Reservation Service.Once we finally got seated the Service and food was very good.Just a bad experience with the Hostess and reservation system
Great location, Excellent staff, exactly as advertised. Perfect visit. We went before the Christmas show at Radio City. The perfect location to get a meal before the show.
It was noisy, crowded and extremely rushed. Brought out main dish we had just started our salad appetizers. Not recommended at all.
Seated and never served.
Same with table next to us.
Food was horrible waiter ignored us!!!! Forgot our appetizers
While everything was good (even the Caesar salad, which at most restaurants is boring and overdressed - this one was crisp with a lovely lemony dressing), the standout was the apple pie. The food we had everywhere in NYC was outstanding, no matter what type of establishment we visited, but the apple pie here was truly outstanding. Full of chunky apples, not too sweet, a perfect crust, and whipped cream topping it off. Yum!
Mains of roasted chicken were also delicious, and very good service. The menu is simple but good, just like the food.
Very enjoyable meal & experience. Staff was very friendly and service was prompt.
The only reason I would not recommend this restaurant was because of the bathroom. There is only one stall for a huge amount of customers. We had to wait 10 minutes and the bathroom itself was not clean.
The waiter visited the table for us to order after a very long time and on top of that, he brought the wrong dish. The wait for the food and check was dragged on and a dinner that could have lasted 40 minutes was an hour and a half long because service was extremely slow.
Stopped while viewing the holiday sights. Had a great Salmon dinner with dessert and a bottle of wine. The service was great as well and we were not rushed. We'll visit again in the future.
Seating was quick for pur reserved group of 10. Food was average... pasta was undercooked, a little ligjt on shrimp and sausage in the pasta dishes, and some of the food came out cold.
Service was OK... tough to get drinks refills. Busy holiday season, but they seemed a little under-staffed.
Bathrooms were odd... only one seat in both the mens and womens bathrooms...way too small for a restaurant that size.
right in the main concourse of Rockefeller center, it is convenient to get to. however, we had a 5:00pm reservation and were told it would be an additional 25 min wait. It went down from there as we waited almost 20 minutes for our server to acknowledge us and a total of almost 35 min before we even had water on the table. To me, that just is not acceptable. (especially when a group who was seated after us had bar drinks before us) The food was an appropriate portion, with a nice presentation and really good flavor, (burgers, onion soup, salads) so the problem isn't with the kitchen, its all about the service and management. If you do go.... try the winter sangria.. YUM
We had a reservation and arrived a little early, table was not ready. We then went back at reservation time and table was still not ready for about 10 minutes. We were then seated in the hallway outside of the actual restaurant and were uncomfortably surrounded by people waiting for their table and it was very cold there. I asked the Maitre 'd to please move us and her reply was that it would be another 20 minutes becaue there were no tables. We were pretty starving so we ordered. We kept seeing other people getting seated in the restaurant so, at this point a girl was standing right at the head of our table with her American Girl doll staring at us, I asked for the manager. He came over and I told him how uncomfortable this arrangement was and he found a table for us. It seems that the waiter did not get that memo because we waited for just about a half hour for the food to come. No bread or drink refills to be had. The food was okay but not worth the price for sure. I would not go back there or recommend anyone else do so either. Maybe it's different at non-holiday days but this has been my experience. One last note, there is only 1 not so clean bathroom for women and there was a huge line. This ruined our day because we wasted so much time just trying to have lunch. :(
Despite the large crowd, the staff truly went out of their way to make certain our food experience was pleasant. We look forward to returning.
Great restaurant, they accommodated a party of 12 with no problem
