Soup tasted like can soup. The cod had way too much batter on it. The waiter ignored me when I was trying to pay the tab. Some else had to ring out my tab.
Average food, service left a little to be desired. Had to ask for someone to take our order. Food was decent, I would not go for dinner, but it's a worthy lunch spot.
The beet salad was very good as was the new england clam chowder. Service was personable. Highly recommend the best salad.
Good value for the money, good service, great location in the heart of Rockefeller center and the food tastes good as does the coffee.
Food ok. Pricey. Tables way to close together. Chairs kept hitting tables next to us.
Was ok apart from pasta was just warm and not hot
As it was Xmas day the whole place was really busy, despite this the staff were attentive & the food was served quickly & tasted great.
The seating is very tight so no conversation is private. I think the waitresses/waiters have too many tables to worry about.
First time there and we went on Christmas. Everything was great. From accommodating our seating preference, to the great, fast service and delicious food. Perfect day all around.
We booked a Christmas lunch here, I wanted to ensure we had reservations somewhere given the level of business in the city and the limited options. We were certainly right in the thick of the action as Rock Center was packed (my first Christmas in NYC). The food was OK, they had their regular menu but also a set Christmas menu, but I actually thought the service was very friendly especially given the number of people in the restaurant. Nice experience!
Aside from the 1 hour wait even though we had a reservation, the restaurant was fantastic. Great food and great service.
The service is very good, it is a great option between fast food and a fancy restaurant. The location is perfect. It can be a little noisy but nothing that makes you uncomfortable. I would definitely go back.
Good food, good service, and a great price for NYC. Love this place.
After a show
Pretty good overall. Food and service were good but that's as far as I'd go. Extremely busy which is fair enough but you could see the service manager was keen to get us moved on.
Nice alternative to other touristy restaurants in Rockerfeller center during the Christmas holidays. The staff was very attentive and accommodating.
It is quite busy on a Saturday in nyc during the winter holiday season but they seated us when we arrived without trouble. The food came in a timely manner. I ordered the Bolognese pasta and my friend had the rotisserie chicken. Both were exactly as we expected. Warm and tasty.
Food was good. The timing was off with the entre' coming out less than 5 minutes after our soup. Then when we were ready for the entre' it took quite a while to bring them out. The servers were at the table multiple times and did not clear the dishes until absolutely necessary. The experience was just ok.
Busy day at Rock Center. Great location, reflected in prices. Took an extended length of time to receive food after ordering. Also, it seemed like the menu was reduced as compared with what is shown online.
I was looking for a kid friendly place close to the Tree, and this was it. But the food was not great for the price, which the reviews all stated. My burger was undercooked but the waiter was nice about it and took it back to be cooked further. It’s a very busy place, more of a cafe than a restaurant experience.
The food took a very long time to come out and then my steak was way undercooked. The entire table was done with their meal (and dessert) by the time I got the same steak just cooked longer (and still not right).
Great all around.
Service and server were good but food was terrible.
Where to start... well, I guess first that this is NOT a "Mediterranean" restaurant. A diner is what it comes closest to, and that's saying a lot because in a diner at least you have a good variety. The menu was limited, the food was absolutely awful greasy fried food, the staff messed up our reservation (thank god we showed up early), and the service left something to be desired. We sat swatting fruit flies while waiting for our waitress (who was polite, despite messing up our drink order and taking over 20 minutes to come back after we asked for 5 minutes to look at the menu). The smell of fryer grease PERMEATED the entire room (and yes, you will smell like grease when you leave). The price of the food is only justified by the fact that you are in the city and in the Rockefeller building, otherwise, I'd laugh at someone asking us to pay $130 for 2 plates of diner food (seriously, a panini and fish n chips), 2 mediocre soups, and 2 glasses of wine that tasted like bananas.
To top it off, we split the check and just today it turns out that the polite waitress charged one of our cards for the meal in its entirety rather than split it as we requested. Now I have to deal with a transfer fee and the hassle of getting money to the person who ended up with the entire charge on her card (thankful that she has means, otherwise, a mistake like that can end up costing someone overdraft fees).
Unfortunately, this place most likely survives as a tourist trap, getting people in there who are at the Roc Center and have no idea what they are in for. My suggestion, if you don't want your evening ruined DO NOT eat here. It was a truly disgusting experience - I do have a picture of the paper folder they brought our check in (it was wet, soaked in food from God knows what, and falling to pieces), can't seem to load it but happy to share it with mgmnt if they care to see.
We came here because Cucina & Co had a good rating and it was in a perfect location. It also supported an Online reservation of 10. The wait time wasn't too bad. The Food was great and it was only the service that was lacking. It took multiple queries before receiving items ordered. I am not sure if it was because of being short handed but seemed that way. Other than that we had a good time and would recommend.
I made a reservation here after going to see the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall.
The service was just okay. The poor waiter was overwhelmed with the amount of customers and
lack of servers. The food was just okay too! $18.00 for a hamburger and $20.00 for a kids meal.
I guess given the location you get what you paid for. If you don't mind children, crowds and noise this is a place for you.
My daughter, son in law, 2 small grandchildren and I went to Cucina and Co after The Radio City Christmas Show. It was the perfect location. It is a bit noisy, but perfect for us, as it is very kid friendly. The food was excellent and very fresh and hot. Our server was great.
It was worth the trip to Cucina! Perfect for our family of 4, while visiting NYC. Thanks, Cucina for making our evening special!
Thank you for making our Thanksgiving meal great. We enjoyed everything. Great restaurant & very nice people who work there.
Ate here with a friend for lunch on the Friday before Labor Day. The restaurant was not very crowded which was fine with us. Our server was very attentive and the Cobb Salad was good, but a little pricey.
Too crowded poor service and quite warm temperature wise. Food was good tho
Good place to grab a decent lunch when in Rock Center. The service is good and the food is as well.
We have been here several times for casual business lunches. It is an affordable place within Rock Center to have lunch. The salads are pretty good and the service is efficient. They also have very good coffee and fresh baked goods.
Good overall. No complaints. Convenient location for a casual business meeting.
Good spot - Convenient and affordable sit-down and take-out restaurant. Good food overall. Reasonable price. Convenient location.
3 of us went to Cucina for lunch before our co-worker leaves for his retirement. We enjoyed the pasta, Salmon and Kale salad. All was delicious!! Since we only had 1 hour, we had perfect time. It was busy there but the noise was not too loud so we are able to have good conversations. We will be back again soon.
The prices were more expensive then I thought it should be. Food was OK but didn't think it was worth the money. Although it's kid friendly I didn't think 3 chicken fingers and fries with a drink and dessert should be $20.
Our waitress was so friendly and considerate. Couldn't do enough for our family if 14.
My wife and I had dinner here with my friend and his wife on December 26th to celebrate
Christmas and the New Year.
We all picked from the price fix menu.
They enjoyed the food.
The restaurant was very understanding , taking us 1/2 hour before our reservation, due to
my friend having some problems and need to eat soon then later
Our family had a good meal and the staff was friendly though a bit on the slow side. The bathroom situation is terrible. One toilet, no urinals. It was 5 person wait just to wash my hands before my meal. Overall experience considering the holiday season was satisfactory.
I reserved a table for Christmas Day and had the turkey dinner from the fixed price menu. The food portion was good, but the salmon my father had was a smaller portion. He wished he had gotten the turkey also. The price was high for the cafeteria quality of the food.
