Always the best!
Wonderful time until the end of our meal when a party of 14 was seated next to us. We couldn’t even communicate with each other! Thank Goodness we were eating our dessert when they moved in. The dinner and the dessert were wonderful and we ran out as soon as we could!
I was visiting Philadelphia for a conference and having dinner with a long-time friend who was also at the conference. Separately, we both received recommendations for Cuba Libre. We weren't disappointed! It was a delicious meal, the service was terrific, and we were able to linger over dessert without feeling rushed.
The food here was fantastic!! My boyfriend and I had never been there before and the atmosphere was great!! The mojitos were fabulous and the food offerings are a great selection of foods.
Great food and vibe
Loved it!! Will be back again.
Food was mediocre. Not bad, but niothing great either. Had the red snapper... chewy, no flavor.
Very good food, fast service, nice servers.
All four of us enjoyed our pre- theater meal. Crab guac was delicious and the large size was big enough for sharing as starter. Portions generous and tasty.
My favorite place to eat when in philly! Always delicious food and amazing service! My favorite mojito is the passion fruit! Yummm!
Saturday night dining at 8 pm with 5,6 year old kids running around?? I don’t think so.
Food, just everage.Don’t order ceviche,it’s basicslly 5 thin slices of tuna with bitter marinate on top..Flank steak over cooked. The baby octopus, rubbery. The meatballs in tomato sauce??hello..??overpowered with too much dried oregano-not tasty at all.The mojitos are served in plastic cups, they are not what I had in Cuba!!!The employees don’t care about customers, starting with stuck up bartender, air headed waitress, and many bassboys wearing dirty shirts.Around 10 pm this place is a mess, they kicking everybody out to turn it into a Latin night club.Sorry but I didn’t even had a chance to order a birthday dessert for my husband,we were served a check around 9:50pm.
Definitely this place it’s not what it used to be years ago.
What a shame!!!
The food and service was outstanding! I would truly recommend Cuba Libre to everyone and looking forward to returning for lunch.
This place was just okay. Service was terrible. Apps and dinner came at same time. Food was okay but not 25 a plate good. I will never come back here.
Great place! Felt like I was in Havana. ( and I’ve really been to Havana).
Noise level just right.
Love Cuban food and this is the best we have had in Pa and NJ.! The restaurant is beautiful and looks like you are in a Cuban Street....the service and staff was very good.....the food was perfectly seasoned and the taste was excellent .....the desserts and specialty coffees were the best!
Amazing food and services.
We been there several times. On this trip, we gathered for brunch to celebrate two birthdays.
The seating was fair. Next time we'll request a table in the central area. The one by the planter in the main room, by the fire exit, wasn't a plus. We've sat there before, and despite having other tables open, they were not available. Will only return if seating is 4+ or 5.
Food was really good. Got the Chefs tasting menu and was very full at the end! Will definitely return.
I took my wife here for a pre Arden show. She had no complaints. That was huge. Food was great and our server excellent and very helpful when ordering. We did not have a knowledge of Cuban cuisine so having the help was really important.Nice vibe and atmosphere in the room and very tasty though not very buzz worthy mojitos. Would highly recommend.
Food, atmosphere and my waitress was great . The hostess and our placement for seating very poor. They sat us next emergency exit and hostess kept using the door leaving us cold all the time
Rainy day, so it was slow, but we were able to enjoy faster service and a delicious meal w/ out any hiccups.
We went for our anniversary and as usual enjoyed the food, drinks and service.
Great! Our service was amazing.
Our waiter was great, drinks were incredible and the food was so tasty! Will be going back again for sure. Great experience
I like it :)
Valentine’s Day great service
food always fantastic. service excellent. recommend the empanadas and plantains
It was nice. The food Nd vibe was great. Good music. Alil dark but overall great
We went for a Valentines brunch. Just the right amount food, pleased with our server's willingness to work around our gluten issues. Cuba Libre never disappoints.
Went on Saturday night. Be prepared to spend $18 on parking. Drinks were good and about 10-12 each.
The Cuban sandwich was good. My girlfriend got some tapas dishes. Those were not great. Plus they were all fried. She was very disappointed. Also, the chips and 3 dips had soo few chips that barely used half the dip, then charged 3 bucks more for 4 more CHIPS.
Our table was also next to 2 bathrooms and the kitchen on the first floor. I overheard some people who worked there talking about our tables who said they shouldn't be there. No kidding we watched everyone who went to the bathroom. Very romantic view....Lol. I get it was busy but don't add tables outside the bathroom to compensate.
Loved it. Excellent value service and food. Highly recommend Cuba Libre
Very cool atmosphere. Tropical feeling. Food is delicious. Mojitos are insanely delicious. Absolutely worth a try.
Cool vibe, environment, very good food, drinks, and great waitress!
The food was excellent and the cocktails superb. I had the Ropa Vieja and my son had the Seafood Paella and both were wonderful choices and delicious!!!
A birthday celebration for our children. We have been here at least 10 times in the past and this was our child’s choice. Food is consistently good. It was really quiet on a Tuesday so this was a nice choice for us. Tried a mango margarita this trip and it was delicious. Had almost every appetizer, one entree, one seafood soup and the banana bread for 4 people.we ordered too much food but the variety was great.
Prices are a little high for the amount of food. Crab guac was good, but for $17, should have been twice as much crab. Latin pastry assortment was very small for the price. Slider should have 2 sliders for the price and 5 fries is just rediculous.
Great as always!
Excellent and authentic cuisine! Great mojitos and a fun vibe!
Overall, very good this time whereas my experience is usually excellent. There were a few service foibles, but they were quickly rectified. The staff is attentive, the food is always excellent.
I am a longtime customer of this restaurant, but after the experience I had last Sunday, I will no longer be recommending it to friends and family, as I have in the past. I also doubt I will ever be returning for the brunch service, due to the decline in service and value. I have absolutely no complaints about the bartender (who was very friendly and helpful) or the food (which was as delicious as always). However, the service was consistently poor, in a restaurant where I have never encountered a single problem before. From the moment we sat down (6 people for brunch), we waited for everything. It took over 25 minutes to even be greeted by our server, and that only occurred because I complained to the hostess (who was also very polite and accommodating). When the server came over, he did not apologize, and simply took our drink order. It took an additional 20 minutes just for water and only one of the coffees ordered. A different member of my party complained about the lack of drinks, order taking, and communication, and while we got the coffee and drinks, it was an additional wait for no reason. When our first round of food came, one of the party did not receive any food. We attempted to flag down our server, but couldn't, and it took 30 minutes after that to get any response from anyone. He got his food, eventually, but the fact that it took over 40 minutes and no explanation was offered is inexcusable. At the end of the meal (which took over three hours due to all the waiting), no compensation or apology was ever offered by the restaurant. We paid our bill because we are all former service industry employees, but none of us are anywhere near satisfied with the experience.
