Great restaurant! Service and food were ok outstanding. The staff is hard working and very professional. I even saw the manager pitch in by clearing tables and running drinks. The busy restaurant speaks to its popularity for food. I recommend and will also return to try other menu options!
Met up with another couple for dinner. I had the shrimp dish which was very good. Hubby had the seafood paella which he ate in a flash. Mango margarita was very good. Disappointed they didn’t have strawberry. We shared the dessert sample. I had the rice pudding which was okay...I’m partial to my own.
Waitress and service was spot on.
Had a great meal! Wonderful food!
Rib Appetizers awesome
Had coconut balls
Small meatballs and anot her chicken appetizer all fantastic#
We left room for the rice pudding with coconut macaroons.
we had a great waitress. she was outstanding, very friendly. we stayed for dancing and we had fun. l luv this restaurant. our server was the best and it was my friend bday.
The two of us loved the Passionfruit and Coconut Mojitos! The menu offered many choices and the food and desserts were absolutely delicious.
Our waiter forgot to bring me my soda I ordered. I had to ask him 3 times before he brought it. He also didn’t bring us our bread with mango butter. We had to literally ask him 4 times before he brought it. He flat out ignored us. It was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had! We went for my birthday and I let them know in advance and they did nothing. Food was okay. Kind of cold probably because our waiter was terrible.
We had ordered the chef’s tasting and every dish was so flavorful. The service was fantastic, we were never left waiting for a drink and the food came out and in good time. They had forgotten to bring us our bread and butter so I politely mentioned it just so we could get some and they wound up comping us for our 2 monitors. Will definitely be going back.
Was in Philly for the evening and wanted to try a highly rated restaurant near our hotel—after reading reviews on approximately 10, we decided on Cuba Libre, and so glad we did! We chose the Chef’s Table menu (a sampling of 5 courses.) because we hadn’t eaten much Cuban food. Wow!! All the flavors were amazing!!! And it was fun trying all the different menu items. We chose a Vino Verde which paired well with all our courses. Our server, Amanda, was friendly and attentive. Will definitely revisit restaurant next time I’m in Philadelphia.
The food was very good as were the mojitos. I felt that the portions were way too large. The pineapple guacamole was delicious especially with the outstanding plantain chips.
We always enjoy our Cuba Libre experience. This time I took my daughter for her birthday and she had a great time. Our server was very friendly and attentive.
It was awesome!
They had this amazing pre-fixed menu, where you get to taste everything on the menu in bite sized portions. I was in love with it all. I love that the restaurant represents the Cuban Culture, really made me feel like I was in Cuba
Nice vibes. Food is good but a little pricey.
Always fun. Good food, drinks and music. Aaron our quasi-waiter was scrumptious. Smooches!
Excellent meal with a very pleasant knowledgeable server.
A great Cuban restaurant. I always come here when I'm in Philly. Great ambiance, rum cocktail menu, food; casual and relaxing. Bar seating for drinks or food is a good option for one person. Fair prices, great service.
Lovely ? Food was perfect !
They had a big event which took over all of the first floor. They put us upstairs where there was no ambiance. The service was excellent but the food, which all (appetizers, entrees, etc) all arrived at the same time and was cold.
Well courteous staff and help in dining area. All on menu are reasonable priced as well as the drinks.
Muy mala la comida la seguridad unos atrevidos el costo de la comida es un disparate con lo que sirven
The food was amazing. The ambience was great. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends. Close walk to Penn's Landing.
The food is excellent, well prepared and seasoned. The servers were very helpful. I can’t wait to go back in June when the windows are open and it’s margarita weather. The mohitos are as good as in Cuba
Never had a bad day at Cuba Libre 💯
The staff is amazing as well as every other aspect of the dining experience. I am a former employee of the Philly location and I still go to Cuba almost every time I go downtown from the burbs.
Six friends for lunch. We had a wonderful time and the waiter took good care of us. I enjoyed the Brunch Paella.
Great food, service was great. We had a stroller with us so we liked how they had an area in the back where they stored it while we dined. Also like that they have a coat check. Highly recommend.
So happy that we drove into the city and went here. The food was simply amazing. Beautifully plated. Authentic Cuban cusinue. Employees were great and made recommendations. We will return.
Always the best!
Wonderful time until the end of our meal when a party of 14 was seated next to us. We couldn’t even communicate with each other! Thank Goodness we were eating our dessert when they moved in. The dinner and the dessert were wonderful and we ran out as soon as we could!
I was visiting Philadelphia for a conference and having dinner with a long-time friend who was also at the conference. Separately, we both received recommendations for Cuba Libre. We weren't disappointed! It was a delicious meal, the service was terrific, and we were able to linger over dessert without feeling rushed.
The food here was fantastic!! My boyfriend and I had never been there before and the atmosphere was great!! The mojitos were fabulous and the food offerings are a great selection of foods.
Great food and vibe
Loved it!! Will be back again.
Food was mediocre. Not bad, but niothing great either. Had the red snapper... chewy, no flavor.
Very good food, fast service, nice servers.
All four of us enjoyed our pre- theater meal. Crab guac was delicious and the large size was big enough for sharing as starter. Portions generous and tasty.
My favorite place to eat when in philly! Always delicious food and amazing service! My favorite mojito is the passion fruit! Yummm!
Saturday night dining at 8 pm with 5,6 year old kids running around?? I don’t think so.
Food, just everage.Don’t order ceviche,it’s basicslly 5 thin slices of tuna with bitter marinate on top..Flank steak over cooked. The baby octopus, rubbery. The meatballs in tomato sauce??hello..??overpowered with too much dried oregano-not tasty at all.The mojitos are served in plastic cups, they are not what I had in Cuba!!!The employees don’t care about customers, starting with stuck up bartender, air headed waitress, and many bassboys wearing dirty shirts.Around 10 pm this place is a mess, they kicking everybody out to turn it into a Latin night club.Sorry but I didn’t even had a chance to order a birthday dessert for my husband,we were served a check around 9:50pm.
Definitely this place it’s not what it used to be years ago.
What a shame!!!
The food and service was outstanding! I would truly recommend Cuba Libre to everyone and looking forward to returning for lunch.
This place was just okay. Service was terrible. Apps and dinner came at same time. Food was okay but not 25 a plate good. I will never come back here.
Great place! Felt like I was in Havana. ( and I’ve really been to Havana).
Noise level just right.
Highly recommend
Love Cuban food and this is the best we have had in Pa and NJ.! The restaurant is beautiful and looks like you are in a Cuban Street....the service and staff was very good.....the food was perfectly seasoned and the taste was excellent .....the desserts and specialty coffees were the best!
