Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar - Orlando Ratings and Reviews
Went to Cuba LIbre recently with friends. It is difficult to find a more beautiful restaurant, but atmosphere must be matched by quality, and the quality did not disappoint. Delicious food and excellent service. I had the pork chop that contained the pork belly section....incredibly tasty with a delicious sauce. All of us at the table were thrilled with our choices. The service was also stellar. We loved Cuba LIbre and look forward to our next visit.
The food was excellently prepared; great service and fantastic drinks. The ambiance was also incredible. The only downside to this restaurant is the insane prices. While my food was good from app to dessert my check was nearly $90 (after tip) for one diner who only had 2 drinks, split an app and a dessert.
Loved absolutely everything about this restaurant. Went early evening so it wasn't too packed. It was perfect. Only downside was I called ahead for my boyfriends birthday and I wanted them to surprise him with a dessert. The lady over the phone said she made a note and our server would know about it. And at the end, nothing was done. But that's okay. Still had a wonderful time
Amazing experience. Our group grew in numbers from when we made the reservation, the staff was more than accommodating, thank you, Taylor. Got there in time to enjoy happy hour at the bar, with $5.00 drink specials and appetizers, thanks to our bartender, Alejandro. Party of 10 seated and served impeccably by our server, Joshua. Wonderful experience, thanks to an amazing staff, delicious food & some libations!
Terrible experience, first our waiter and was way over the top hyper and sweating. As he was serving a martini he was shaking and ended up spilling it into a colleagues bag. He took food before it was finished and didn’t have the courtesy to ask if we were done. The pitcher of pineapple mojitos were horrible, tasted like syrup, with no rum detected. The grey goose lemon drop did not taste like Grey Goose, so not sure what they were serving. Drinks over the top expensive for poor quality. Go next door to Capital Grill for a superior cocktail at a better price!! Will not go back nor can recommend at any level; no redeeming value.
The food was excellent, our waiter was honest about which options he thought were good or bad and the service was attentive without being intrusive. My only problem was just how noisy it was, and whereas I understand a busy restaurant can be quite loud, I felt I was competing with not only other diners conversation but very loud music as well. I didn't have a bad time, but I would have preferred not having to repeat myself and constantly ask my friends to repeat themselves when conversing.
Food was delicious but service was horrible. Not sure if the waiter was new or not but we had to ask twice for everything. He said he was bringing the bread but never did so we had to ask someone else. My husband asked for salt and pepper which wasn't brought until we asked a second time. The manager had to get involved after our entrees didn't appear for over 30 minutes while the table next to ours was seated after us but were finished their meal and gone by time we got ours. At the end of the meal we declined dessert and coffee but the waiter said it was on the house because of the delays so my husband ordered decaf. Instead of bringing it with cream and sugar on the tray he had to ask for it. Then the waiter brought it without a stirrer so we had to ask for a spoon which took 5 minutes. Good grief! After all that they removed the charge for the appetizers. There were other issues as well but I'm tired of typing. They got 2 stars instead of only 1 because the food was really good.
I am from NY and took my Mom for her birthday while on vacation. I loved this place and highly recommend. Food was delicious and my coconut mojito was on point. Service and waiter was super nice. You get 5 stars
PS I miss the food and drinks already
