Very cool place with authentic Cuban food. The atmosphere was friendly and the service was prompt. Seems a bit expensive for what it is, especially the drinks. That said, we will go back.

Being from Miami, I’ve been trying to find the same taste in Cuban food and this spot comes very close to it. Great job!

Our waiter was nice and pleasant and made an effort. Although simple requests like regular butter for the bread problematic. Someone in our party disliked the Rob garlic in the butter and requested standard butter. It never arrived. They were also out of our first two choices of red wine. Three of us ordered flank steak or Cuban style steak. All was very difficult to chew. The visual ambience was nice but temperature a bit warm and poorly ventilated. The table was not adequate in size so it was difficult to find room for our entrée and side items.

I ate dinner at 1958 Cuba last week and was eager to try them for lunch. I had a Cuban bowl with steak, black beans and maduros. Delicious. My dining companion had a tropical salad with chicken. It was giant and she said it was terrific. Our server Arturo could not have been nicer. Before we left they shared a flyer that promoted Mojito Mondays and Martini Wednesdays, 1/2 price all day for both. I am confident I will be making 1958 Cuba a regular dining destination.

Food was amazing, the staff was very friendly and efficient. Owner came around to greet everyone. A great way to celebrate Mother's Day.
