   My daughter and I came here for breakfast and lunch. Lunch was great! The service was good and the food came out and delicious. Then we came for breakfast. There was only one waitress so the service was not good at all. She apologized at the end, but it was a long wait for not great food. I had an English muffin that I asked for well toasted and it was barely toasted at all. It was completely white with a slight brown on one of the edges, but she never came back for me to tell her and to get it fixed. My daughter had the açaí bowl which was smaller portion then expected, but it was fine. I would recommend because it is a very nice restaurant in general and if there was more then one waitress, maybe the experience would have been better.

   Food was terrible.. ordered 1/2 dozen oysters that were CUT in 1/2- I have never seen this before. My wife ordered buttermilk fried chicken sandwich for $17 which overlooked to the point it had no taste and hard as a rock ... I ordered buttermilk fried chicken platter for $32 and the chicken again was murdered/burned/over cooked. I have no problem with paying top dollar for food at resorts like this however when the food is absolutely terrible it unacceptable.. The kitchen staff is careless when they serve food that is obviously not prepared correctly.

   Beautiful views and nice place for a drink, but the food, at best, is medicorce and the Chef has absolutely no flexibility. Requested that the wild salmon be blackened (which is no problem at any other good restaurant), but was advised could not deviate from the menu. This is not the first time this has been experienced by myself and many others. While the resort brings in many conferences, and thus guests that frequent their only tavern (bar), its priority is serving alcohol, surely, not the quality of its food. Many regulars opt for the local restaurants which have excellent food, prices, and service. BTW - it's rarely I give a negative review.

   Food was amazing. Service was great. Kid friendly. Ate here most of the nights we stayed at the lodge. You won’t be disappointed!!!

    The Crystal Tavern is in a beautiful location and setting of the restaurant is lovely but the bar area located right next to the restaurant was very loud. The noise was made worse by a wedding the spilled out of the reception area and into the tavern. The service was prompt and the waiter was professional. I ordered a sidecar, which was excellent. We ordered several appetizers the Lamb Carpaccio was excellent. The other items were problematic. The Poutine consisted of under cooked soggy french fries topped with way, way over cooked, likely leftover lamb. The charcuterie contained really fatty ham of some sort and some very dried out blood sausage and only two pieces of cheese and a half a slice of toast. The Rhubarb Crumble had very little rhubarb and the oat topping was hard and dry. They were out of the unsweetened cocoa.
