Our modern Italian menu is inspired by local and seasonal ingredients to create unique and memorable dishes. In addition to crudo, we have a variety of handmade cooked dishes and wood fire grilled meats. Crudo Ratings and Reviews
Crudo offers an ala carte menu but the server Highly Recommended the tasting menu. In retrospect, we may have been better off ordering ala carte since the desserts were not the star of the show.
Some of our favorites were the crispy pig ears as a appetizer, pork belly with creamy polenta (the polenta was a big hit) and pasta with chicken.
The berry crostada for a dessert was a miss as the pastry was hard and cold. The tiramisu was good, but shouldn't be called a tiramisu as it was a lemon/whipped cream dessert served in a jar. Tiramisu means "pick me up" and has espresso coffee in it. This was not that. Wine recommendations from the waiter were good. Overall a nice, albeit, expensive experience.
Crudo has the most original do it yourself tasting menu that I've ever encountered. All dishes are creative, original and delicious. The best way to enjoy Crudo is to arrive hungry with a group of 4 and order everything on the menu. Or leave out the salad and dessert to ensure you have room for their signature risotto and, if you're lucky, lamb belly. Be sure to order each of the available crudo dishes - this is not sushi but sushi lovers will love it just as much.
Our first time there. Exceptional! The food was outstanding. Noteworthy were the Ahi, Buratta, Fingerlings, and Tortellini Pie. Lemonchello Tiramisu for desert. The cocktails we had were unique and delicious. Our Server, Tiffany was sweet and pleasant. She was knowledgeable and obviously a pro. It was a perfect night and we would recommend to anyone who appreciates great food and service. Prices were right in line too. Jack
Amazing birthday celebration here, we had drinks in the bar area and the bartenders were fantastic - the bourbon list was the best I have seen in this town! The wait staff in the dining room were experienced and smooth, tried some small plates and loved the honeyed ricotta with Noble bread, also shared a few items off the tasting menu and though I was too full for the chocolate ricotta cake my date received for his birthday, I enjoyed watching him polish it off...the staff here made a birthday dinner feel so special. We will definitely be back.
A stand-up out in Scottsdale. Recommended by Canadian friends with broad tastes. Everything on the menu was delightful (try the pig's ears for an unusual treat), but the stand out was our server Amanda; high energy, great wine suggestion and someone who truly enjoys what she does. We'd go back!
We enjoyed sitting on the patio where it was a little quieter than inside. Both of us chose the 3-course prix fixe menu, ordering six different things to share since this was our first time at Crudo. I ordered the burrata - excellent and plenty to share; the tortellini pie - incredibly rich; and the flourless chocolate ricotta cake with salted caramel sauce and ice cream - decadent and delicious. My husband started with albacore crudo in an orange and dill sauce - he loved it; rye gnocchi with rapini - very tasty, earthy, maybe a little too salty; and the brisket - tender and flavorful with fingering potatoes and grilled radicchio in a salty-sweet sauce that included anchovies and balsamic vinegar.
Service was well- timed, attentive but not obtrusive. Dinner for two with one cocktail and tip came to just over $100, so more of a special occasion place. We would recommend it and will return.
Crudo is a terrific spot that combines the Italian version of sushi with more standard Italian fare. You can do smaller plates of all menu items in combinations of 3, 4 and 5 for $10 a pop. The crudo dishes are small but the pasta and secondi dishes are quite sizable. I am big eater but couldn't finish my secondi after having two crudo and one pasta dish. Service is great, the small bar atmosphere is fun and the food is good. It's in the back of the strip mall on 36th and Indian School but has a fresh, clean Arcadia interior. You will enjoy!
Crudo is all about creativity. The chef combines all kinds of unusual ingredients to create unique, captivating dishes. Eating here is like a journey to an unknown land. Yet you will be constantly amazed and impressed. If you're looking for familiar comfort food, there are plenty of other options. But if you're looking for a dining experience that will surprise and delight you, head for Crudo.
We finally got to Crudo after having to cancel two previous reservations, and we're so glad to have finally made it! Our server was efficient and very personable, which added to the experience. The food was inventive, quirky, and downright delicious. The noise level was energetic without being obnoxious. We will definitely be back!
Loved the Restaurant! The menu was creative and unusual and the wait staff was knowledgeable and attentive. You take away memories of wonderful tastes. The warm smoked olives were a terrific appetizer along with the delicious pig ears! The bar has unusual but tastu specialty drinks. We will definitely return.
This was our third time dining at Crudo. The first two times we absolutely loved everything. This time, we had a great experience but felt that the waiter was annoyed that we kept asking what everything on the menu was. It really would be helpful for the menu to explain all the unusual items so that we didn't have to ask 20 questions to get an idea of what to order. We actually resorted to Googling things to get the definition. All three of my dishes were outstanding, but my daughter ordered the shrimp, which were not cleaned or pealed, had heads still on and tasted so smokey like they were tossed in a fire. Several of the dishes has strong notes of smokiness, a bit too much and in too many things. My husband also liked 2 out of three dishes. I love trying new foods and it's always a fun adventure at Crudo, but it needs to be a little easier to understand the menu items - even for foodies!
This was my 3rd time dining at Crudo and I'm sorry to say that I was very disappointed with our dishes. The worst was the Kauai shrimp, served With the shell on--trying to remove the shell was next to impossible and I ended up wearing shrimp juice. Other dishes were "off" as well and this was their "best of the best" week. This is no longer one of my favorite restaurants in town.
Love this place, lately the food hasn't measured up to expectations set by many previous visits though. The service continues to be outstanding, all the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. We are frequent diners and they make us feel at home. They've gotten rid of several of our favorite dishes and the ones we still enjoy just haven't been as good lately. We will likely give it a month or two and try again.
The food was incredible. The service was good. It is a pricey place but the quality of the food is excellent. The place is so cute and homey but the music is blaring. I almost walked out right after we sat down, and I had really been looking forward to the evening as we don't go to Crudo often because of the cost.
We took out of town guests who also are foodies. They were blown away. Wish I knew our server's name. She was excellent. We went on a Saturday night. Ordered our cocktails and crudos together. Our first course showed up several minutes before our cocktails. We were told the bar was backed up. The abalone crudo was disappointing, but the crudo with truffle oil was heavenly. Rissotto with squid ink was delicious, and the market fish was equally as good.
Thank you Cullen for upholding great standards and continuing to prepare incredible food.
The food is always a unique combination of ingredients and the taste is phenomenal. This time, we had the polenta special (every Wednesday, I think), and it was an incredible value. We got a bottle of wine with it, and more than enough for two and the bottle of wine was just $40.
Creative menu, nice presentation and efficient service. The more straight forward dishes were best - burrata and ahi were delicious. My husband's ordered the gargatta pasta which was delicious as was the short rib. We did not have desert. As sides we had the pig's ears - tasty but too rich for one person - probably meant for group sharing. The beets with goat cheese was very good. I enjoy trying lots of different foods so the menu offering was very suitable - a little something for everyone. I think overall it was good and worth a try- the execution of the dishes I ordered was a just bit off.
Tortellini Pie and Pork Belly entrees were excellent. The market fish (albacore) was not a strong showing. Odd texture because it was only seared but then covered in a Mediterranean style sauce with tomatoes, garlic and capers. Good flavor, but maybe not the best execution. Excellent cocktails prepared by bartender Kyle.
This is a great place for foodies with the 3, 4, or 5 course options. I've had the burrata dish twice which I think is the best thing on the menu. Also, the crudo is excellent. This time, I got the gnudi which was actually burned and my wine was served too warm (Crudo should seriously invest in a red wine cooler, I left this feedback last time on my Yelp review). Overall though, this place is a wonderful find and I highly recommend it for any date night or even a night out with friends. I want to try the happy hour because the bar looks like it has a good vibe.
As a vegan I was somewhat shocked at the menu when I saw baked pigs head and fried pigs ears. But our waitress was really awesome. She spoke to the chef who then prepared one of the best vegan meals I've had in a restaurant. It was a meal above and beyond expectations. And I have to say Amanda, our waitress, was truly one of the best waitresses I've ever had.
Kudos to Crudo!
We had a large group (13) of mixed foodie levels. The Pig's Ears were delicious, two cheese courses were Gouda (not literally), two entrees as good as I remembered, dessert fantastic, and the drinks were on point.
Our server was fantastic and oh-so-knowledgeable (dang you for talking my unadventurous girlfriend out of the chicken hearts...I was REALLY looking forward to seeing her face when she ate one).
Our evening did not start well. We had a reservation for 8 pm. We were not seated until almost 9. Management and staff made up
For it in spades. Complimentary champagne and apps. The food was simply incredible on all levels. Most of us did three courses and then we all shared. Excellent wine list. This is a must try inPhoenix
My husband and I went to Crudo to celebrate our anniversary and we were blown away! The service was outstanding - helped us get through the menu and figure out what to order for both food and drinks. We sat in the bar side, as the restaurant felt a bit quiet and sterile, and loved the atmosphere on the bar side.
5 out of 5!
This restaurant surpassed my expectations and was better than the recommendations I received. My gf and I ordered 13 total items and were impressed with most of them. The cocktails were also very well made and put together. I'm a huge "true" foodie and have dined in multiple, multiple fine dinning restaurants and this place is up there with the best of them. The service started off a little slow but ended up being just as good as the meals.
I'll definitely be back!!
