    Dining atmosphere and service was excellent. Food was somewhat of a disappointment. The filet mignon was average, no where near what we have had at other fine dining in the area. The arctic char was a better dish, but still not as good as what we have experienced at other establishments. The dessert was definitely the highlight of the meal - peanut butter s’mores was a great choice.

    The menu has been the same for so long and it is limited. Everything else is spectacular. The prices are getting up there but still represent a fair value given the service levels and ambience.

    Very sophisticated looking warm root salad and a very disappointing taste, good mushroom soup, literally on the bottom of huge plate, just a few spoonfuls. Really bad monkfish, nearly raw, stinking, with just a tiny bit of purée. Nothing to mask or balance the taste of fish. Short ribs bourguignon was nice. Overall it was a very uneven experience, in spite of a good service and beautiful appearance of the restaurant.

    Our server, Mark, was terrific! Give Mark a GOLD STAR. We had escargot followed by halibut with apple shrudel for the dessert. It could not have been better. Hats off to the chefs.

    This experience was far superior to last visit on June 11. The soup special was great I always like the escargot and the sweetbreads were delicious. The service was good and the ambience is always outstanding with low noise level.

    We went based on the reviews and were very unsatisfied with the food. We have been to many higher end restaurants and this by far was the worst food. Restaurant was spacious and staff was great.

    Celebrated mom's 93rd b'day and great choice. Quiet, smaller tables where you can hear each other, food prepared perfectly, and service was attentive without being overbearing. The root salad was a foodie delight with presentation and flavors that were quite unique. Duck was flavorful, halibut tasty and filet done perfectly. Smallish portions, but almost a gastro feel to the presentations. Only oppressive part was the wine list which isn't approachable and led us to glasses of wine. Deserts were small yet well prepared and tasty. All in, good for a unique tasting experience. Waiter was terrific.

    Wow! When we made the reservation to go to Cru we had no idea really what we were expecting. We had never been there, and only went because of a desire to try something different. From the moment we pulled into the parking lot to the greeting as we entered the wonderful experience of all the servers, dining at Cru was remarkable and memorable experience! All aspects have been there wasn’t just about grabbing a quick bite to eat. The ambience and elegance matched preparations of the food. We were especially grateful for Rebecca and Michael, who offered such kindness and service. They Were so much appreciated! Although the pricing is much higher than we normally pay, it was wonderful to be there! Thank you for such care and expertise. It was a great evening.

    I’ve had the opportunity to visit this establishment twice during my stay in the the Cleveland area. The food is amazing! I had the halibut, sea bass and lobster crab cake. I’m from Maryland and the crab cake could definitely compete. Great customer service and ambiance! Jeremy was a great and personable host!
