   The restaurant didn’t have our reservation but were able to seat us. You were out of the BLT salad that our server had recommended but the Burrata was outstanding as a replacement.

   The only person in our group who said their food was good, was the bolognese. Everyone who had scallops and shrimp had their seafood painfully over cooked. We still had a nice time talking to each other though.

   Greeted immediately upon entering. Atmosphere was relaxing. Given a tour of the wine cellar. Dave was our waiter and very knowledgeable about the menu and different wines. Food was excellent as well.

   My wife and I had the ribeye and it was fantastic. Our server Joshua was on top of everything without being intrusive. Excellent service. The steak and gnocchi were really very good and the steak was huge. The asparagus was amazing. I have never had asparagus cooked as well as this was. Love going to the Cru. It truly is a notch above.

   We had a lovely evening. Reminded us of being in Italy. Quinn our waiter was very knowledgeable and efficient. Cru honored my request to be by the fireplace and also served complimentary gelatto (the best!) for my birthday. Food was great.

   Even though he was the only waiter working the night we dined at CRU, Joshua was attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The meal was prepared perfectly and the lobster bisque soup was incredible. Although we miss the original CRU menu from years ago, having an Italian option while we stay at Grand View Lodge is great and there's just enough variety on the menu to please everyone. We've come to expect nothing but the best when dining at any of the Grand View Lodge restaurants and CRU met those expectations. As seen elsewhere, prices on the menu have climbed, but the quality of the food makes the extra expense worth it for a special night.

   The soup was Luke warm. The lasagna was burnt, dry and overcooked. The steak was too charred. I can make better mussels at home. Overall, I was underwhelmed. For the price I’d expect higher quality food. At least something more special than what I can cook for supper! The waitstaff was good tho.

    Fantastic wine dinner, great menu, only complaint is that servers didn’t replace silverware that was used after each course. I hate putting a dirty knife on the table and using it again.

    From the wine cellar tour (and taste!) to the featured drink and food specials to the excellent recommendations from Quinn, our server, our dinner at Cru was fantastic. Friends new and old gathered, shared delicious plates, and created great memories!

    Food was delicious! They start with a wine tour in the wine room and complementary tasting! Then serve a complimentary bruschetta. Quinn our server was attentive and knowledgeable. He did an amazing job despite being short staffed and handling a number of tables including a party of 12! Recommend the fettuccine Alfredo, chicken Milanese, choppino and oso bucco. The ribeye was a bit disappointing- over cooked and lacked flavor. Wish they had their lemoncello too but they did not. Overall, a repeat fabulous time here and would definitely recommend it!

    My husband had the Branzino and was impressed! The rest of the food was mediocre. The eggplant caprese had no flavor. The fried eggplant actually tasted like a veggie burger which does not lend it self to tasting fresh, as caprese should. The calamari was extremely chewy, very bland and was over breaded. My entree was the scallops (which could be improved by serving 3 larger scallops) instead it was 5 small, very chewy, overcooked scallops with undercooked risotto. Overall very bland. It’s a bummer because it’s a lovely space and located at a wonderful resort.

    Celebrated a birthday. So excited Cru had reopened. Love the quiet environment for dinner with great wine selection. Had after dinner drink at the bar following. Friendly conversation with other guests and bar tender. We always have dinner at Cru when staying at Grandview.

    Went to Cru on a Friday night . We went early before it became crowded and had a wonderful time. The food was great, the service exceptional and the soft jazzy music playing in the background made the entire evening seem special. We would recommend Cru to anyone but it is somewhat expensive; but you get what you pay for.

    Menu lacked some creativity. Eggplant caprese appetizer had good eggplant and greens but tomato was bland. Steak was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Pasta with choice of sauce a simple choice but no creative combination of meats and seafood options.

    The food was not great. It was overpriced. My friend ordered the chicken Milanese, which was served with greens. The sauce was not flavorful and it was overpriced. The menu selection was not good either. Disappointing.
