Would not recommend if you want good customer service!! We made a reservation for 8:30( may21) we called twice before that reservation time to say we were running late, so our reservation ended up being for 9, And both times the gentleman on the phone said no problem and see you when you get here. We arrive at 9 for our reservation, tables all out front, business hours says 10:30, and the gentleman at the door said sorry our kitchen is closed and it didn’t matter we had a reservation!! They didn’t know we were parked right in front of their business so when we left we were still out front and they sat a large party (8-10) after telling us they were closed but sat them right out front. That’s just awful business practice like Seriously who does that and thinks they are doing right by their patrons!!! We didn’t fight it because clearly we don’t want to eat where we are not wanted and went to a fabulous restaurant around the corner that hit all the marks!! Quality, amazing ambience, excellent food, drinks and excellent customer service and so happy to have us!!! Bosscat kitchen & Libations!! Seriously skip this wack restaurant Cru, who only cares about themselves and has absolute zero hospitality skills and go to BOSSCAT, you’ll be so happy you did!!!

Disappointing Mother’s Day Brunch Experience I wanted to share some feedback regarding our Mother’s Day brunch experience at Cru. I attended with my wife, mother, and two children, and we were fully aware of the $56 per person prix fixe menu ahead of time. Unfortunately, the experience fell well below expectations. Despite the restaurant not being at full capacity and having the advantage of a limited, pre-set menu, the service was incredibly slow—worse than what you’d expect during peak hours at a fully booked restaurant with a full menu. The delays made the meal frustrating and detracted from what should have been a special occasion. To make matters worse, the quality of the food simply didn’t justify the price. I don’t mind paying a premium for a great dining experience, but in this case, both the service and the food failed to meet even basic standards for the price point. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.

We were dining at Cru before a concert, so timing and efficiency were key. That being said, our table was marked as reserved, we were promptly seated, our server was friendly an efficient and our food and wine arrived quickly. We loved our wind flights and the explanation card that came with each one of them was perfect! We ordered a Caesar salad to share, and without being asked, the server intuitively split it into two single servings. The pizza was on point! Hot and gooey with perfectly charred crust. It was a relaxing, delicious preconcert experience!

First five wines we ordered were out of stock. Food was good. Service was ok until they threw away one of our group’s take home meal. Acoustics aren’t great if a guest anywhere inside is being even slightly ‘loud’. Overall just ok.

Service was pretty slow and inattentive. 10 minutes to take our order. 30 minutes after that starters came out and 30 minutes after that entrees. The restaurant wasn't even half full. Food was quite salty.

One of our favorite spot for good food, great wine, and ambiance in The Woodlands. We love their pizza but can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

We’ve enjoyed Cru many times in the past but this last visit was a bit disappointing. We ordered the 4 cheese tray and 28.00 for 4 tiny 1 ounce wedges with some soft overripe grapes it was just not worth it. We also ordered dumplings and at 13.00 for 4 tiny dumplings it was a joke. The wine selection is great but don’t bother with the appetizers, they’re not worth the price. They’re going to have to step up their game with portions and next time we’ll be going to Sixty Vines as their appetizers are much better and portions more generous.
