   We were dining at Cru before a concert, so timing and efficiency were key. That being said, our table was marked as reserved, we were promptly seated, our server was friendly an efficient and our food and wine arrived quickly. We loved our wind flights and the explanation card that came with each one of them was perfect! We ordered a Caesar salad to share, and without being asked, the server intuitively split it into two single servings. The pizza was on point! Hot and gooey with perfectly charred crust. It was a relaxing, delicious preconcert experience!

   First five wines we ordered were out of stock. Food was good. Service was ok until they threw away one of our group’s take home meal. Acoustics aren’t great if a guest anywhere inside is being even slightly ‘loud’. Overall just ok.

   Service was pretty slow and inattentive. 10 minutes to take our order. 30 minutes after that starters came out and 30 minutes after that entrees. The restaurant wasn't even half full. Food was quite salty.

   One of our favorite spot for good food, great wine, and ambiance in The Woodlands. We love their pizza but can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

   We’ve enjoyed Cru many times in the past but this last visit was a bit disappointing. We ordered the 4 cheese tray and 28.00 for 4 tiny 1 ounce wedges with some soft overripe grapes it was just not worth it. We also ordered dumplings and at 13.00 for 4 tiny dumplings it was a joke. The wine selection is great but don’t bother with the appetizers, they’re not worth the price. They’re going to have to step up their game with portions and next time we’ll be going to Sixty Vines as their appetizers are much better and portions more generous.

   Overall Cru was good. The service was elegant and the ambiance was welcoming. What brought us here was the charcuterie board. And the charcuterie board was underwhelming because it wasn’t a good balance between meats and cheese. The pizza was delicious. The wines provided was great.

   I really enjoyed my time there. I took my wife on a late Valentines Day date & the service was remarkable. Would definitely go back!

    It was way too loud. Food was OK. Waitress had too many tables. I asked for my steak to be medium well or just pink in the middle and it was still pretty raw in the middle. Another irritant was and this is just a pet peeve of mine, the gratuity was added and it was just my wife and I, I get it for six or more, but for two? I usually tip more than 20% especially if the waiter is good, but when they choose to add just 20% to my bill that is what they get. I have in the past when that was done, subtracted 5% is the service was bad. Over all the place was OK, but not sure I would go there for a special day again.
