The service was amazing! Waitress was super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, but a little bit overpriced. Regardless, if you are willing to spend a little extra, this is restaurant is a great experience.

Absolutely recommend brunch!! Prices are comparable to many other brunch spots around Cincinnati. The $18 mimosa madness was amazing and the juice options were wonderful for someone, like myself, that doesn’t enjoy orange juice. Food was incredibly good as well and the breakfast potatoes were SO crunchy! Our server Jill was so wonderful and very knowledgeable about the menu. Seriously she was the best server, didn’t check on us a weird amount and was always around when we were ready for her! GREAT job Jill!! The only thing that wasn’t 100% satisfactory is their reservation process and seating. First of all, their outdoor seating is lackluster. A few uncomfortable picnic tables out front and it appeared like there were a few 2 seaters on the side. It was not that great of an outdoor atmosphere. As someone who has worked in the service industry, I totally understand that last minute cancellations or changes are annoying and can effect the flow of seating and service. HOWEVER.. their rule that any changes would result in $20 charge per change within a 24hour notice was worrisome. Especially since upon making the reservation 3 weeks early, I only had two choices for seating; outdoor or bar seats. It wasn’t until DAY OF that it was nearly 10 degrees cooler than expected. But I was far too worried they were going to charge me a ridiculous amount if I requested they seat us inside. The outdoor seating was COMPLETELY shaded, so when making brunch reservations in the future, anytime prior to 1pm will be more comfortable inside. That didn’t ruin the experience, just made me aware that when I come back (because I will be back) that I’ll likely sit inside 😊. Thank you CRG!!

Wife and I Came here before seeing a show at the Taft theatre. Very safe, easy, close, walk between the 2. Ordered the wings, burger, 2 draft beers, an espresso and an espresso martini. Everything was delicious

Wish we tried it sooner!! We loved everything we tasted. Outdoor dining was quaint and nice for Sunday brunch. Server had great recommendations and prices seem reasonable given the quality and freshness. Can’t wait to try lunch or dinner.

Second time eating at this establishment. Will be back again for sure. The food was delicious with a variety to choose from with a lot of fantastic options. Drink selection was on point. Server was very friendly helpful and on time every time. Our food came out at a great pace and allowed copious amounts of time to enjoy the food. We still were early getting to the play even with dessert. Cannot say enough.

I hadn't been to CRG for quite a while, they did not disappoint. It's always reassuring, at least to me, to see one of the owners on site and actually working, setting up an cleaning tables, greeting guests. Food was excellent from the everything knots to the Sunday pasta special and their house red wine. A friend had their burger with an ample serving of excellent, well cooked fries.

Crown Republic is always good. We tried a couple of new items this visit and they didn’t disappoint. The kale and celery caesar salad was delicious but the onion soup dumplings is a must try dish! To top it off the drinks are good too!!!!

I have been wanting to go there for quite a while after I read the review in Cincinnati Magazine. It exceeded my expectations. The red sauce was wonderful. Everything we ate was top notch. I can't wait to go back again.

Food was just ok. Banana Bread had soft inside but the outside was almost charred. We asked if we could get an order that wasn’t so “well done” or if it was always burnt and we were told yes it’s always served this way and if we got another order it would be served that way as well. You could literally hear it tap the plate. The think bacon was also over cooked but still slightly edible. The smoked wings were decent. Probably wouldn’t visit again for the food but seemed like a cool place if you just want to have mimosas and chill.

Crown republic is always reliable for good entrees, appetizers, and drinks. The service was great on our recent visit. We had the Pappardelle and the salmon this time, and both were great.

The food is amazing, but the service leaves something to be desired. The food here is always great and it comes out of the kitchen very quickly. However, since the restaurant recently added an automatic 20% service charge on brunch, the service has really fallen to the wayside. You are lucky if your cup of coffee is every refilled or if you see your waiter or waitress to check in on your meal.

We had a very enjoyable experience here on a busy Saturday night with the Reds in town. The menu is so unique, but well thought out and extremely well executed. Our teenage daughters were able to find things on the menu that they would enjoy and we were very pleased with the Squid Ink Spaghetti and the Salmon. Do yourself a favor and try the General Tso Cauliflower! My only drawback is the music was pretty loud, a bit unnecessary.

We had yet another great meal! Christian was our waiter and was very attentive and pleasant. Anthony, the owner came to our table and we chatted for a bit. We made reservations for next Saturday at Rosie’s. Can’t wait for our experience there!!

We visited this place for my Mom’s Birthday and it was all our first time visiting. I must say it didn’t DISAPPOINT! Everything was AMAZING. The food omg sooo good. We all loved the fact that you can see the kitchen. The ambience was great. Service was A-1! Very friendly and helpful. We all can’t wait to go back!!
