This was a good meal but not a great one. At least, for the money spent -might come back.
The servers seemed overwhelmed by the amount of customers. Our breakfast took too way long to serve, and my entree was incorrect, but I wasn’t willing to wait for it to be re-made. Our server had a very positive attitude, but was not good at follow up. Too many tables to serve?
We visited for our anniversary and we we're so pleased with the entire evening. The food the service and the view we're all exceptional. We're came back for breakfast and had the same experience. Thank you for a wonderful time!
Worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Seriously, F this place. My boyfriend and I had Valentine’s dinner reservations at 8. We waited for 30 minutes to even have a waiter attend to us. Once we ordered, 2 hours passed, we still did not receive our food or even drinks. After watching countless tables arrive after and leave before us, we left. I’ve never had this level of disrespect before, profiling at its finest.
Service was painfully slow. Food was not as good as I thought.
What a horrible, horrible Valentines Day. We arrive expecting to choose from the menu listed on Open Table, instead the old bait and switch was on to a very subpar menu for “the special occasion .” Of course on Valentines Days you cant just leave and go to another restaurant because everything is booked. NEVER AGAIN WILL I CHANCE GOING TO THIS RESTAURANT!
It must have been an off day for staffing because we were totally overlooked. Hostess seated us and after a long wait came to take our order herself. No follow up. Took very long time. Like we were invisible. Same getting the check. We finally had to find her and ask for it. We told her we felt forgotten. We have never had such negligent service here. It’s usually outstanding. The food was fabulous though. We will try it again because this seemed so out of character.
We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here — which yielded a beautiful and delicious chocolate mousse cake courtesy of the restaurant. I enjoyed the seared scallops and ordered Brussels sprouts along with, both delicious. My wife enjoyed house-made bucatini in tomato/lobster sauce, also delicious. The clam chowder — white, with a hint of jalapeño — had a pleasant bite we both enjoyed. Our server, Ki (so.?), was appropriately attentive without being obtrusive, providing excellent service. Go there!
Very friendly and attentive service. We ended up late for the breakfast service but were accommodated beautifully as they left the buffet and made to order omelette station open for our party. Highly recommend!
We expected the fine dinning the resort had been famous for in the past. It had been awhile since we had been to the resort so the Christmas Dinner was to be a trip down memory lane. Unfortunately it turned out to be an expensive so, so hotel restaurant and the one we remember had been closed. Too bad because the restaurant they closed was far superior to the one they decided to keep.
Not worth the value for a brunch at a luxury property. The food quality was poor (selection too) and the service was average at best. I was expecting more for a Christmas day brunch. Would absolutely not go back.
Great food and service for Xmas day brunch. Good selection of various sides, salads and mains and wonderful house made desserts. We’ll be back.
Excellent service, great setting, delicious food. Highly recommend the Crown Landing at Loews.
My husband and I dined for our anniversary dinner and also breakfast the next morning. We enjoyed the service and the food was amazing! Everything was great! Food was delicious and waiters was always checking in to make sure we were good.
Our server was amazing attentive and friendly. The food was incredible.
What an awesome Thanksgiving buffet! The food was delicious and the presentation of many of the items (salads, desserts) was wonderful.
The seafood display was our favorite but we savored many of the other items too and left stuffed. We hadn’t been in to the Crown Landing since it was remodeled and we were somewhat disappointed. The noise level was high and unfortunately we were sitting across from the family with a very young child who kept squealing. It was disruptive during our entire meal. Too bad parents don’t consider those around them at times. Disruptive kids should be taken outside.
Thanksgiving dinner and first visit to Coronado Island with my mother. It was a fantastic dinner—the variety of dishes within the holiday theme was well done!
Wonderful staff, food and service. Would highly recommend!
Had an amazing time with my new neighbor creating new friendships in Coronado Cats at Loews.
Veronica(our waitstaff)was very friendly and everything was just an enjoying experience dining at the Crown Landing. We are a returning diners:-)
Food was good, clam chowder in particular. Service was good but not great. What ruined the ambiance was the horrible loud music.
Such a beautiful brunch! The servers were very attentive with our mimosas. The buffet was on the smaller side, but the options were wonderful and sufficient. The view from the patio was absolutely gorgeous and relaxing.
I took my granddaughter here for her birthday. The price was very reasonable for such amazing service, delicious food, gorgeous views, and refreshing craft cocktails!!
We will return again and again!
We booked our reservation through open table - the app prompts you to fill in your preferences, special occasions, etc which is very helpful. It was our anniversary so we marked that, requested to sit inside in a booth. When we arrived we let the hostess know we had a reservation. She asked us if we wanted to sit inside our outside.... we again requested inside. She took us past 2 booths and tried to sit us at a table. We asked if we could sit at a booth and she said all the booths were currently taken. We asked if we could sit at one of the 2 booths we passed on the way to this table. She said "you can if you want".... so we did. We placed our drink order and waited for 30 minutes before leaving because we never got drinks. It was a pretty big let down.
Exceeded our expectations for a resort hotel restaurant.
We were disappointed that the hotel moved the restaurant by the marina view from the upper floor view of the bay. The food was very delicious, but a limited menu. Service was wonderful! We opted for outside dining and it was nice.
Went for Brunch buffet. The food was very good. Omelette station had a lot of choices.
The food was delicious! The tuna poke was the best I have had!!
I think we had everything on the menu.
Service was excellent never had to ask for anything.
The view is beautiful.
Can't wait to go back!!

We stayed ta the Lowe's for a long weekend and ate here every morning for breakfast and for a few dinners. The staff was eager to please and very kind, but they were often overwhelmed and we were left waiting, or items didn't arrive or when they arrived they arrived wrong. The food was NOT good at all. But we didn't have a choice as it was nuts in Coronado and with little kids it was really hard to leave.
Surprisingly good food and service for a resort restaurant. We are used to being disappointed when staying in for a resort meal (high $$$ + mediocre food), but Crown Landing was a notable exception. Appetizers (cauliflower, Brussels sprouts) were very tasty, but a little rich. Scallop entree hit it out of the park. Excellent meal for the price.
Waiter tries to upsell bottled water at first interaction. That set the tone. Not great accommodations for gluten free or other food intolerances. Food tended to be oversalted especially the chicken.
Beautiful views. Halibut a bit dry. Raw Clams flavorless. Oysters fantastic! Shrimp and poke also very good. Parking crazy expensive but I guess you pay for the privacy quiet and view. Was worth it for mom.
Nice view, good food and great service!
Food was great. Service was perfect. Noise level....was a bit high on the patio, with a very loud baby very unhappy. Price is a bit high, but in line with a higher end hotel. Have dined here a few times and have additional reservations for a few days from now, after our wedding.good and close if you're staying at the hotel.
Based upon the pictures on the Loews website we made a reservation for the night we arrived. The food was good but priced higher than we had expected. The restaurant itself is very different from what we expected based upon the photos. Smaller, not quite as sweeping and quiet at 8:00pm.
Okay-Kien was absolutely amazing! He was incredibly accommodating, pleasant and prompt with our food order. I was impressed with the kid buffet(my kid flipped). The views and service was stellar!!!
We will be back!
It was a phenomenal brunch for Mother's Day. Exceptional service by Andrea our waitress, as the food and presentation overall, was amazing.
Great atmosphere good food
Food was good. Service was slow and the hostess had a difficult time trying to accommodate us. It was an okay experience.
Dear LesA, Thank you very much for 5-Star rating. We apologize for the slow service you received, your detailed review will indeed help our team improve those areas. We hope to see you again. Kindest Regards David Thurgood Director of Outlets
Easter brunch was delicious, very affordable and an experience I will repeat for many years to come. I cannot say enough about the great experience my family had.
