Six of went for Restaurant Week. We expected a creative, classy dining experience and great wine pairings and a great location.

We were seated between the kitchen and a window facing the parking lot. The offering was not unique or interesting. I had the beet salad and a steak. Both very average. And the wine pairings were the least expensive wines from the regular menu.

I suppose this would be an acceptable place if you are a hotel guest, but as a destination dining experience, it is not worth the trip.

Our dining experience fair/good this time. My husband and I stay at this hotel once per year for several years now. We’ve dined at Crown Landing many times and have always had excellent service and food however this time disappointed. Although the food was wonderful as always the waiter and hostess were not friendly at all but rather rude. When we asked how the noise was outside (because earlier that morning we had breakfast there and it was so loud we couldn’t enjoy a conversation from the wedding taking place and the loud music) she said “I can’t control the events outside” . The snarky remark stunned me along with the annoyed look on her face. I simply asked what the noise level was like to decide whether or not to sit inside or outside and that was all. Our waiter was unfriendly and we felt rushed out. Disappointed

Both are dishes were excellent (and we're very picky!), cocktails and desserts, all great. Server was professional, friendly and attentive. Prices very reasonable considering the location and food quality. Great spot!

This lovely hotel seaside restaurant has the friendliest and competent wait staff I've ever met...even with children! The food is consistently good. The menu doesn't change so if you've been a couple of times you might have used up all your favorites. Great breakfasts and kids meals.

Not a good restaurant if you are vegetarian or gluten free, no good selections. Was looking forward to sitting outside but disappointed as they placed the restaurant on the opposite side of the sunset and ocean. Would have been better to eat at the out door bar with better view. Very overpriced for what it is.

I really wanted to like Crown Landing. We were guests of the hotel and had been very disappointed by the food throughout our stay. We were hoping our final dinner would be more memorable. First, the service was wonderful. Our server was warm, personable and attentive. The drinks and food were subpar. We ordered the Cesar salad with shrimp, crab cake, octopus and kids grilled salmon. The drinks arrived and were very odd. The bread came next and it was stale. Our entrees arrived and they were again very odd. The salad was inedible it was so salty and the supposed six minute egg was just a cold hard boiled egg. The Parmesan frico was stale and chewy and the shrimp were not pealed properly. The crab cake came with the strangest accompaniments and while it tasted fine, was not something we would order again. Overall the atmosphere & service don’t make the food enjoyable enough for a second visit.

I thought this place is fancy and nice but the ambience is OK. It has a bay view but facing the row of house across the hotel.
The food is good. French toast is quite hearty and tasty. But the parking fee is outrageous $12 / hour. By time we leave we paid $21. This is not the parking fee for this kind of restaurant. Maybe Coronado hotel or Torrey Pines Lodge.

We have been going to Loews Coronado Bay Resort for Mother’s Day Brunches for 17 years.
This year it was horrible. The food choices were quite limited, much less than in the past. Then they ran out of food. When were there they ran out of: bacon, fruit, potatoes, and chocolate covered strawberries. The line for the omelettes was over 20mins. At 20mins my husband who had diabetes had to eat something so he had some shrimp.

For three people we paid $245.00 for slices of watermelon, bad cupcakes, and. Little else else. We were never offered tea or coffee at the end of our meal but an 18% service charge was added to our bill.
This was a buffet!!!!!! Why did we pay someone 18%????
We did get shrimp and smoked salmon. But so not worth $245.00.

We got a parking validation but then when we go to the parking kiosk they said the validation did not cover the full cost of parking,
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!
Are you going out of business? Is this why you kept prices high but then went cheap on the food.
As I said we have been coming here for years. We even had a family wedding at this hotel.
WE WILL NEVER COME BACK.
This brunch was unacceptable.

We enjoyed a lovely Easter Brunch at Crown Landing. The food was tasty, there was a good assortment, and the omelet bar was great. We were surprised to find that our mimosas were not included in the price of the brunch nor was parking (though it was discounted)

Best meal of my life. Executive chef Chris makes otherworldly food worthy of a Michelin star! It was my birthday and the attentive staff made every attempt possible to make my visit memorable. From the opening appetizers of oysters to the grand finale steak - everything was cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend the rum punch as a drink accompaniment and received at the end a rhubarb cheesonceecake for dessert which I could say would be the best I ever had. Thank you Crown Landing for a in a lifetime experience! Will be back very soon!

Although not dressed for a walk this is a great place to take a walk around the Marina either before or after dinning. Our waiter Fernando was superb. The view of the sunset was rich and all encompassing. The Valentines' Special was very delicate and tasty! Since I wasn't drinking alcohol that night I might suggest a special non alcoholic bubbly concoction to offer in place of the special drink on the menu . In fact I should've asked as I am sure they would have accommodated it. Thank you for a wonderful venue to celebrate our 25 years of being each others Valentine!

Made this reservation based on the reviews written on Open Table.

This was our family dinner out for NYE. With our kids having various dietary restrictions and food allergies I reviewed the menu and website beforehand to be sure this would be a good fit for our dinner.

When we arrived, we were seated promptly and presented with a menu. Unfortunately, the menu was a pre-set/pre-fixe
menu as the only option for dinner.

Based on the menu presented with no other options we could not stay and have. It would have been nice to know in advance this would be the case for this evening. We definitely would not have made the reservation.

As a resolution to our failed dining plans, the hostess suggested dining at the buffet at the upstairs restaurant. We asked her if we needed reservations? She said “no, you do not need reservations.” So up we went. When we got there we were turned away and told they were only seating guests with reservations. Only after 9 pm would they start taking walk ins. So, this whole pre-planned dining experience did not work out for our family. We were left having to find other arrangements for dinner at 7:15 on NYE.

Additionally, I would say based on my impression of this place, this restaurant has more of a hotel coffee shop feel then a nice restaurant for upscale dining.

David the GM was fantastic, accommodating our 30+ adults and 40 soccer players. The food was great. The view of the boats lit-up in their Christmas glory was a beautiful site; not a bad seat in the house. Also important to note they have 2 private rooms. The Bartender adjacent to the restaurant was amazing, hidden behind the cafe, drinks were perfectly mixed and prepared with real ingredients, stop in for a chat before you dine.
