About this restaurant

  • Good for special occasions
  • Fancy
  • Romantic
Poised high above the Dallas skyline atop Reunion Tower, Crown Block offers a culinary experience to surpass that of the typical steakhouse, complemented by an approachable, stylish environment in celebration of all things grilled, seared and roasted. A fine balance between steak, seafood and plant-based cuisine, featuring ingredients from regional farms, ranches and the Gulf of Mexico. The Rare Steak program embraces a range of offerings that includes Prime Beef, Texas Wagyu, and Japanese A5 Wagyu and is complimented by a sushi and chilled seafood display, a dessert bar with pastry chefs in action, as well as signature craft cocktails and an extensive wine list.

Wine and dine on another level with breathtaking views of the city. This isn’t just a steakhouse, this rises above them all.

Dress code is not enforced. Disappointing experience, I will not be returning.

The food was absolutely gorgeous. We had the burger, the lamb and pasta. All were cooked to perfection and the free dessert for the birthday boy was a welcome surprise. My favorite thing of all was the cheesy buns and cheese dip. Burssel sprouts were delicious too. It's a pity the restaurant doesn't rotate any more, but the views of Dallas at sunset were spectacular.

Music very loud unable to hear waiter or family. Good took an extremely long time to come out. Asked for a nice view and was sat in front the kitchen where wait staff were in and out. But seemed to forget to ask if we needed refills or anything since we waited so long for food. Couldn’t make a reservation for 6 so I had to choose 5 people but then they sat us at a table for 6 people but by then I had to tell my son he couldn’t come because the reservation only gave us the option for 5. It was super hot in there I had to pull out my fan.

Not for us. All very mediocre. Nice views but shame it doesn't revolve anymore. Tables and chairs were an uncomfortable height match. My husband was far too low to the height of the table. Our server was very nice in fairness but others were not overly inviting & the food was very average. Not complaining per-say but feedback would be that we wouldn't rush to return, sadly.

A very fun location worth visiting for the views, the food, and the attentiveness of the staff. We were impresses with the quality of the food and attention to detail in the presentation and cooking of the dishes. The food preparation was creative, and the tastes were honed to perfection. The staff was very good at paying attention to your table and recommending dishes to eat. There is a mandatory 18% tip that you can increase if you wish. There is little room to walk around, but I recommend you tour the restaurant to see all the sights -it's worth it. The dessert menu was very good and seemingly prepared on premises. The prices are reasonable for the type of food, location, and service. Expect around $100 per person without alcohol. A strong recommend.

We celebrated our 10 years anniversary and it was a fantastic time. Can’t wait to come back! Everything was inviting. The service was great, complimentary VIP parking was great, food was great! I personally had the bacon wrapped petit filet with mashed potatoes and carrots.

One of my party members received a redfin dish that was severely undercooked and had to be sent back to the kitchen because it was completely inedible. Another member of my party ordered one side and received a completely different one. The amount paid for the meal was far above the quality of the food we received. Otherwise the ambience, visuals, and service were good.
