We are always looking to try new places. Reviews on open table were all favorable so we tried it.
Great service, great food, quaint interior. We will definitely go back
Very enjoyable! We were seated in an area that seemed like an extension of the restaurant in a large hallway. The lighting was very dim and we needed to use the lights on our phones to read the menu. Food was very good! Service was very good, as well. I would recommend this restaurant!
Excellent service and menu choices. Specials are always great. Dirty Myrtle fries a must try. Tavern was very busy, but the service was excellent, and our entrees came out hot. Could use a little sound dampening on the walls to cut down the noise, but otherwise a great place for a cocktail and a fine meal.
Porkchop...... Freaking awesomw
Great food. Delicious Lemon Martini.
Super happy service.
It was a fantastic experience. I will definitely be back and recommend to others.
Food was absolutely delicious and the variety is wonderful! Our server was on-point and we had a delightful family dinner with drinks!
The food and service was amazing. We will definitely be going back.
Food was fabulous! Everything was so fresh and service was great!
Best meal we had on our vacation!
I never leave reviews, but felt obligated to do so for Crooked Oak Tavern. Over Easter weekend 2021, we wanted to avoid the chaos of Barefoot Landing & Broadway at the Beach and so VERY excited that OpenTable recommended Crooked Oak Tavern. I travel a lot (or I should say, I used to travel a lot pre-covid) so eating out is a regular thing for me. This was one of the top 10 restaurants I've ever been to with my family. Wonderfully prepared food, knowledgeable staff, and a charming setting created a GREAT experience for my family and I. Highly, highly recommend anyone in the Myrtle Beach area checking out this restaurant. Worth the short drive from the beach areas (we were in North Myrtle Beach). My kudos to the owners, chefs, and staff!
The food was wonderful. Service was top notch. The owner stopped by our table and thanked us for coming to his restaurant. This was our third time. Will definitely be back.
The food was wonderful! Fun receiving fries instead of bread as a welcome! The ranch dressing is amazing! We got amazing service from Shelby! Wish it was closer to Myrtle Beach would visit more often!
Fantastic find in a small community off the beaten path of greater Myrtle Beach. Farm to table menu was strong and the prep and taste of all 4 meals we ordered were outstanding. Service by Fiona was stellar - a truly delightful young lady who took great care of our table. We will definitely return to this gem of a location. Highly recommend for many reasons - the meals were the stars of the show! Hats off to the kitchen and chef!
Had a club salad, and not being much of a 'salad person' found it to be very good!
Excellent in all aspects
Very good food. Small portions. Small dining area.
I love that it is farm to table. The food is always delicious. The blackened grouper bites were great as always, portion is kind of small, the calamari was delicious, it was even temperature hot when served which seems to be a rarity, they were perfectly cooked/tender, and a nice dipping sauce verses the typical marinara. Their dressing for the salad are homemade, I had the honey Dijon, very good. I had the Dijon crusted flounder which I love & had many times. My sister in law had the snapper special which she enjoyed, my husband and his twin brother who we were there celebrating their birthdays had the rib eye. My brother in law ordered his medium well & was happy, my husband ordered his medium & it was pretty rare, which he complained to me about but should’ve asked for to cooked more. The gave us two slices of cake for their birthdays. This is one of my favorite restaurants & will be back soon.
Food, although a little pricey for lunch was outstanding as was the service and the atmosphere!
Our waitress Fionngha was very professional and extremely knowledgeable about everything. The food was prepared perfectly and was delicious! We will be returning and are going to make this restaurant a go to place.
Best restaurant we have eaten at in a long time. There were four in our party and everyone had nothing but great things to say about the food.
The house wines were also excellent.
First Time going. Loved it!
Will br back again soon

Live in South Carolina and friends from Pennsylvania came to visit . They loved the food and the service. The waitress was awesome.
Great steaks and great service. A little pricey but will go back for special occasions.
Had a great first time visit and greeted with a great time, service.
I'd visit again, nice bourbon selection. Nice special occasion restaurant.
We were in Myrtle Beach to celebrate my birthday weekend. What a blessing to find this jewel. We had an amazing meal with over the top service. We shall return.
Fresh farm to table. HUGE menu, plus daily specials. This is my "go to" restaurant in Conway!
We had four people with four different meals, each exceptional in its own way. The ambience is more comfortable than elegant, but if you are all about the food our experience suggests you can't go wrong.
The Crooked Oak Tavern was great but "OpenTable" did not pass on that it was our anniversary.
Great food excellent service. Just moved to Conway. Glad we found Crooked Oak. They treat us like family.
Had dinner therapy for Valentine’s Day with my wife, We been there a few times and we never had a bad meal, from appetizers to dessert, and after dinner drinks.
The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere in a comfortable setting.
The wait staff is knowledgeable and helps and will answer any questions that you may have.
Will return, such a great restaurant.
Great food, friendly wait staff, great atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Went there the day before Valentines. The shrimp and crab meat appetizer was fantastic! Our meal was good. My husband ordered the ribs and I ordered the scallops. The server was excellent. Over all very nice dinner experience.
Excellent experience for our valentines dinner we will be back I want to try lunch.
Food was delicious but the noise level is really loud.
2nd time dining here and both times were amazing.
Great food in a quaint downtown setting. Definitely would go back.
You get a very warm welcome when you walk into this unpretentious restaurant in downtown Conway. It’s obvious the owners put their effort into service and quality of food.
We chose the calamari as our appetizer, but were also treated to a sample of the Dirty Myrtle Fries. Both were delicious My 16 oz. pork porterhouse dinner ( one of several specials ) was outstanding as was my wife’s sea scallop entree.
Our server, Fionnah, was a gem. Very knowledgeable regarding the menu and very personable. Chris, the owner, made a point of visiting each table and thanking folks for visiting the restaurant.
My only regret is that we waited so long to visit the restaurant. We will definitely be returning.
