Awesome food and service. Highly recommend. It’s a very cool place.
Great small town to visit. Delicious food!
Amazing and delicious!
We got tired of the 1-2 hours waits in Myrtle so we looked on Open Table and found this gem. Great service, AWESOME food, and we sat immediately. 25 min drive was well worth it to get away from the chaos and to eat a fresh, quality meal.
Our server Alicia… Was spot on very quick very attentive
There were three of us we all had three different steaks… All cooked to perfection…
All of our food and dessert were perfect
We were on vacation in North Myrtle Beach… It was well worth the drive… Next time down we will definitely visit this restaurant again
15 year wedding anniversary
Awesome. One word.
THE Best dining experience during our whole 2 week vacation. Food was amazing! Extremely fresh, from appetizers to dessert, including cocktails. Highly recommend you visit!
Amazing food, great service. Would highly recommend and will be back.
Parking is a concern with elderly or handicapped. We got lucky and found street parking out front but lack of a parking lot is an issue downtown. Otherwise we enjoyed our meal and thought it was a good value.
The Crooked Oak Tavern is easy to miss! But we did find it in time for our reservation! Upon entering we gave them our name and was seated. We loved the fact that they have such a great selection. However I am dairy and gluten free and there are not many items that are friendly for me. But all in all a great place! 5 stars all around!
Amanda thank you for bringing in your group on Saturday. Sorry if there was any miss information on our gluten free options. We can actually do over 90% of our menu gluten free. On your next visit please ask for me so we can point you in the right direction on how to prepare our meals gluten free.
Great service and mostly delicious food. I was disappointed in the rice side, it was very bland. The other parts of the meal was very tasty though.
What a great find. Definitely suggest the steak. Any of them. My wife had the rib eye and daughter had the filet. Both really good. I had the scallops over prosciutto and Gouda cheese Risotto. Delicious!!
We had the absolute best experience here! We were in from out of town and came for a nice Bachelorette dinner. Food was delicious, affordable, large portions, service was perfect. A truly fantastic experience!
Food was excellent as usual! We enjoyed our meal and will definitely return
Food and service was exceptional. Would recommend highly
Food was outstanding. Server was wonderful. Bartender was not a fan of us The honey mustard flounder was my most favorite flounder of all time and the scallops were amazing
Delicious food and a great experience to relax and enjoy time with family and friends.
Love farm to table and this place was exactly that with a terrific menu. Excellent, high quality food. No complaints. Will absolutely go back.
We brought an out of state friend with us for a celebration of his visit, all of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Being that it is a "farm to table" style restaurant, everything was fresh & very good. Our server was excellent.
Wonderful as usual! We always bring new people with us for the experience.
Food is always perfectly cooked. Wait staff amazing. So easy to reserve online.
The pimento cheese crab dip was wonderful. The shrimp and grits were delicious. My husband had a ribeye and it was good but he will try something different next time. My daughter had the kids chicken fingers and she liked those and she is very picky.
Everything was fantastic! I followed the advice of another review on here to get away from the tourist traps and this place was by far the best dinning experience by far!!
Great place in quaint, quiet town! We were staying in North Myrtle Beach, and decided to get out of the tourist traps for a night. We decided to take the 25-minute drive to Crooked Oak Tavern (Conway, SC), and we’re glad we did.
We were met with a great menu and great service in a small, old building with great character. One of the steaks we ordered was a tad undercooked as compared to how it was ordered, but that’s the only blemish on the report card.
I didn’t notice an off-street parking lot, but there was ample, free parking on the nearby streets.
We would definitely go again.
Waiter was great the rice was just lukewarm. Fish was actually tough.Coffee lukewarm prices no bargain.
Service was excellent. Some meals overpriced. Restaurant was very hot.
Personable weight staff with amazing families
Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. We made last minute reservations and don’t regret it! BBQ chicken was amazing!
Crooked Oak food and service was great as usual. We did notice the sauce on the shrimp and grits was just a bit saltier than what we have had at Crookled Oak in the past, so they may have simply had a different Chef. However, Crooked Oak still has the best shrimp and grits we have found across a number of restaurants. We also had fried green tomatoes-and the scallop appetizer- both excellent!
Had Haley which was incredible..... Also Erica recognized us from previous experiences..... She was awesome as well.. Love this place
The food was wonderful. We enjoyed our dinner
Total Bill for 2 Surf and Turf "Special" which is a Filet Mignon and an 8 oz Lobster Tail, 1 Fried scallops appetizer and 2 cokes was for whopping 250.00 dollars bill.
For those who love how a filet mignon steak should be done - mostly rare or medium, then this is the place for you. If you're like me who loves his steak to be properly well done than this is not the place for you as it will always have a good amount of redness inside the steak. I ate as much as i could then basically took the entire steak home to cook it again to my likeness because if you have them do it again they might just burn the hell out of it since it is thick. The lobster tail was perfect.
By the way the "Special" does not mean low price. The Surf and Turf Special was 102.00 each plus 1.00 for the Caesar salad that had about 5 small piece of romaine lettuce. The most extremely small Caesar salad I have ever seen in my life.
Everything was great. Thank you
This was the second time this particular group of my friends and I got together at crooked oak tavern. We coincidentally had the same waitress we had the last time we dined there her name is Josie and she is phenomenal. Request her when you go to check out the Crooked Oak Tavern experience. Oh and you won’t go wrong with some dry rub wings and Mac&Cheese balls either!
Outstanding food. Great experience away from the summer beach crowds. Will definitely return.
Awesome dinner!! Food was great, service was great! Will definitely be back!!
The food was amazing. Our waitress Patti was a blast. Overall great experience. We will be going back
