Food was great! The atmosphere is very weird. You are just about sitting in the kitchen while in the dining room. Our table was also right next to the server station and pass. So we had all the employees just standing there watching us eat. I’ll still go back because of the food. Might try and eat outside next visit though.

Tried this because we were in the area and felt the 4.5+ rating was accurate! Would have loved to sit on the patio with the nice evening but inside atmosphere (even though we were sitting by the kitchen/ servers area) was still enjoyable. Food was delicious and server was attentive and pleasant. Would definitely go back and will recommend to friend when they're in the area.

We ordered our pizza as an appetizer and it was great. However, as soo as the pizza was served, out entrees arrived stone cold. So, the timing was off as weel as the quality of the food. Also, it seems that the veal might be deep fired....not how it is normally served.

Late night food was awesome in every way. We all ordered different dishes and were all very tasty. Veal Adriano, seared scallops, pasta fagioli, papparelle pompei. Fabulous. A bottle of Barolo topped it off.

I am a great fan of Crispina! We go there at least once a month when we are in town. Tuesday night, things were a little off. The food was very good, but they were out of my favorite beer and my veal was dry but still tasty. I believe our waiter was new, I had to keep asking him to remove completed items from the table. This was just a one-off evening. All the other times, it has been great! We look forward to our next time.

The veal dish I ordered was over cooked, dry and lacking in flavor and the accompanying spaghetti was undercooked with a bland sauce . Disappointingly, the dish was poorly prepared. I won’t be rushing back.

I took my mom here for Mother’s Day. We requested a both in our reservation but there were no booths available, so they sat us next to the kitchen. My mom was crowded by servers the whole time we were there.

We love this place we try to meet here at least twice a month for a nice lunch. Food is always top quality great selection big portions. We have gotten to know a couple of the servers which makes it extra special. Look forward to our next visit.

it was very good meal and reasonable. Very good waiter, but he disappeared after the main meal, and have to wait to get the refill on the wine and the dessert. But on the whole, was able to finish the dinner before the show.

I have been twice.First time I had a pizza the crust was soggy and soft barely held the fixings in place. Second time was yesterday and the Calamari appetizer for $16 was meager at best with actual Calamari too much fluff, lettuce and everything but Calamari I told the server and nothing was done. My gnocchi meal was drenched in sauce and very little of what was supposed to be in it, i.e. shrimp, zucchini. I will not be returning!!!

Crispina is a good neighborhood restaurant. With a little more effort in food and beverage quality, and service, it could be great. For example, servers consistently bring the main course before starters are finished. That said, I did enjoy both courses — they were hearty and robust, and the staff are friendly and caring.
