You know those cozy little trattorias in Italy that serve great local cuisine in a lovely setting and are very fairly priced? Atlanta has its own at Crispina. A small restaurant tucked away at the end of a shopping center, Crispina has superbly prepared pasta dishes, as well as great pizza. You’ll see the full bar with lots of wine choices as you enter. A great everyday or special occasion place.
We love crispina! Go every chance we get. The staff is wonderful, the food great and the wine greater
What an excellent night out. Service was superior and the food was even better! Always love Crispina.
Had Spaghetti and pizza, not as good as on previous visits. Service and ambiance were great.
This was our first visit and we loved it. Out table was ready when we arrived, service was fantastic, the food portions were large, bar prices were good. We will definitely be returning. I saw so many other dishes that I want to try.
Nice Italian restaurant in the neighborhood and great pizza and pasta dishes!!
As always the food was good and we enjoyed our dinner and experience.
Excellent dining spot, pop in for a hand-made pizza, or go more upscale with fresh Italian pasta and salad. Their food is so tasty and prepared daily. A place that's easy o return to again and again.
Oh my gosh our meals were all delicious I ordered my own this time. My husband and I usually share my meal & he orders something else. But I knew I was busy and I’ve just had knee surgery and I’m not exactly cooking so I wanted my own meal, so I could eat the other half the next day. I only ate 1/2, I just found it three days later it never made it upstairs to the refrigerator I’ve been so disappointed because i was so looking forward to it the next day. Their food is so delicious that I think about it until the next time we return. I highly recommend you making reservations they are busy all the time because the food is so good
Excellent service and very good food. The service is great, in large part because the open kitchen is close to the dining room. We enjoyed this, although some might not. However, noise level was surprisingly low despite the restaurant being crowded on a Sunday night.
The personal size margherita pizza, good as an appetizer, was perfectly Neapolitan. (The owner is from Napoli). Calamari fritti was tasty without any "chewy" pieces, accompanied by a nice red arrabiata sauce on the side.
The minestrone, not easy to find these days, was very good. The steak Florentine and typical chicken parimgiano (which I rarely order but came recommended by the waiter) were excellent. The pasta sides were surprisingly nearly al dente - unusual for pasta sides which tend to be over cooked.
Highly recommended good value casual traditional Italian trattoria.
We've been to Crispina many times and always have great service and pretty good food. On our most recent visit, both of our pasta dinners were well undercooked. I KNOW al dente pasta...this was just undercooked, so we were a little disappointed. We will dine again as we really love the pizza and next time, after one bite if the pasta is undercooked, I'll ask for it to be remade.
Went there for lunch for 3 coworkers birthdays. The food was fresh and authentic. Everyone loved their meal. We will be back!
Always a great meal. Service was excellent on our visit! Highly recommend. I enjoy the veal scallopini.
Wonderful good and great wine list. We'll definitely be back!
We had a group of 12 just before a show at the Cobb Performing Arts Center and the service was quick and courteous.
We chose Crispina for an authentic Italian dinner before seeing Il Volo in concert, wanting to have a total Italian experience for the night. Crispina totally delivered!! Atmosphere was very nice, staff was very friendly and professional, and the food was AMAZING! We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this restaurant! It was so good, I had my leftover spaghetti and meatballs for breakfast the next day! Thank you Crispina for making our night one to remember!
Love this place. Excellent food and service.
What a great dinner each and every time!!
Our second time around, and we still loved it. Excellent food, great service.
Amazing fire wood grilled pizza
Very small restaurant so we could hear the Kitchen staff being rude to the wait staff and using inappropriate language in Spanish from our table
Amazing service and amazing food
Crispina's was a great find! The restaurant is very attractive. Our party of five was seated after only a few minutes wait time. The service was attentive (especially to my dairy allergy) and all of us thought the food was delicious. Two of the women in our group ordered two different individual pizzas; one would have been enough for the two of them had they known, especially with salad and appetizer. (If you like your salmon less than fully cooked you should probably mention that.) We are from out of town but would definitely recommend this place for date night, family dinner, or gathering with friends.
Love Crispina!! Excellent locally owned restaurant. Best bread outside NY. Fresh made pasta. Best cappuccino ever!!
Amazing all time favorite
Most recent trip was for dinner on Valentine's prior to attending the ballet. Food was of good quality. Seating was a little cramped with tables positioned very closely together. Overall a lovely evening though.
Great food with excellent service. The pizza is fresh and delicious. We will definitely return
The food was AMAZING! Real Italian food, made by a real Italian. The servers were pleasant and attentive.
Crispina's food was good, especially the calamari. We received great service and atmosphere.
Love the pizza!
Our first time, but we’ll be back. Very reliable if not exceptional Italian. A relatively small restaurant that feels like an authentic family place where locals know they can get good food at reasonable prices. Good wine options as well across varied price points.
Best pizza in Atlanta
Great neighborhood find!
The crowd even on a Monday with reservations speaks for the popularity of this place. It was packed on a Monday! Where else can they say that ! The food preparation & quality & service & speaks for this place. The management is welcoming & warm, the staff is attentive. It is delicious & expertly prepared every single time. If anyone writes a bad review they want something free. Because they care & they would make the dish exactly to order. If a person states they have an allergy or doesn’t care for an ingredient they make it the desired way. On the other hand try the dish the way the chef has it on the menu because that is the best way otherwise. If you want to be treated well & eat great simple casual food with your friends, neighbors, or family this is a great place but make a reservation so they can plan to accommodate you properly.
Always good food and service!
We are regulars.
Fried pizza dough is the only way to go. Love the Sophia Loren crusty pizza dough.
We love this restaurant and always eat here when we go to the Cobb Energy Center for a show. Food is very good and not outrageous. A wonderful neighborhood and family restaurant with friendly and courteous staff. Glass of wine is a bit skimpy in volume but no real complaints.
My husband loves Italian food and we are always in search of a great restaurant. The moment we stepped in we were welcomed. Our waiter was attentive. The food was awesome. We will come again
Had a very enjoyable meal with friends this evening. Food was excellent and our table was in a spot that was conducive to carrying on a conversation! Restaurant was crowded so service was somewhat staggered. Would highly recommend a visit to Crispina for a nice Italian meal!
