Dropped in around 5pm as a party of two and made our way to the rooftop for drinks. Ordered a French 75 and Old Fashioned. The young male bartender made the French and a young, short female made the Old Fashioned. He poured the brut so fast, it bubbled over so much he poured some of it out and sat it on the counter. The glass was messy and half full. I asked was the brut going to replenished and he got smart with me and said he didn't poured it too fast. If you drink French 75's, you know it includes lemon juice which is acidic. Combined with brut when poured too fast it will just rush to the top. We went downstairs and sat in the area with the sofa. Mo was our server and he was AMAZING! He took excellent care of us. We ordered a bottle of brut, another old fashioned, oysters and a salad. We stayed for the live music and it was a satisfying experience! Again, this review and 5 stars is for the service we received from Mo and the team downstairs beginning at 6pm on June 14th.

The good: food quality and drinks. The bad: dj BLASTING music ridiculously loud that you can’t heart person next to you. Forgot one of our party’s food TWICE (when we checked in after 40 minutes, they said they would rectify it but didn’t), said they’d waive food cost after it was 90 minutes late and then didn’t until one person forced the issue.

Never going back. Made a dinner reservation for 7pm…sat juts to be told we needed to go to the bar for service. 90% of the food items we ordered they were out of. Then to be told I can substitute a spirit on a cocktail was absolutely ridiculous. After waiting 15 min for the drinks we did order, we cancelled and left. Worst experience ever

We had a reservation for two - booth, standard seating - at 6 pm. The hostess told me that all they had was a high-top. Furthermore, at a high-top we wouldn't get a server to take our order - we've have to go to the bar to order food. I told her my reservation specified standard seating. However, she said that the reservation didn't specify the type - which is false. I can't say if the staff is incompetent or simply dishonest. I don't believe the service at Crimson Whiskey Bar is in line with other restaurants similarly priced. I suspect they too heavily on its proximity to the 7th Street entertainment district, perhaps using the ample availability of customers as justification to abuse the OpenTable service.

Service was not great. They are a restaurant near the arena, so they should be aware that they will have a rush before a show. They need more options for food since they ran out of the burger by 6:00.

Great drinks. Very helpful staff to help navigate through the whiskey list. Good selection of small and large plate bar food and the food was served fresh and hot. Very conveniently located across the street from Capital One Arena so this will be a good pre-game stop.

I like ordering from the bar for food, and the service is fast. Perfect place before the CAPS game. Our bartender was friendly and made great drinks. We even chatted with security like we were regulars. We will be back

They did not have servers. We had to go to bar and order drinks and food. But they still added 20% on our bill. Ridiculous!
