How can you say anything bad about dining at the edge of Oak Creek on a beautiful Sedona evening? Great place to celebrate anything. We'd certainly return again.
Finding yourself having an excellent meal next to a flowing creek with ducks nearby was superb. The sound of the flowing water, the cool breeze and the superb service made the evening outstanding and one to remember.
This restaurant is a gem situated along Oak Creek in Sedona. The sitting is incredible beautiful and serene; tucked below the red rock cliffs of Sedona and along the tree lined babbling creek. The food is superbly prepared and presented. Every detail to exceptional service has been used to ensure a exceptional dinning experience. Highly recommended.
We have had several anniversary dinners through out 56 years of marriage and this is a return to L'Auberge. We will be back.
Thank you
Very nice welcoming environment. Outstanding menu very well prepared.
I'm a world traveler! I've been to the Caribbean, Africa, Latin America, Central and Europe and this by far has been one of the most beautiful romantic places I've ever experienced! Just amazing!
We were on a deck right on the Oak Creek in the middle of the trees. The creek ran by as several different birds visited, including a Blue Heron searching for fish. The service was fantastic and the 3-Course Dinner was very good.
We had a great time and we were trearted like honored guests!
Chef's presentation of food was excellent. Fantastic to be able to choose 3 or 4 course.
Service was impeccable from complimentary valet parking through entire wait and serving staff. The food was outstanding. We've traveled all over and our meal was one of the best we've enjoyed anywhere. We highly recommend L'Auberge Restaurant.
My new favorite restaurant of all time! The food was outstanding! Our waiter was delightful! The setting was magnificent along Oak Creek.
By far the best experience I have ever enjoyed. The Fennel soup was to die for and the dessert was not of this planet. The waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful. Sitting near the stream was enchanting. Be sure not to miss this hidden gem in the hub bub of uptown Sedona.
This has to be one of the nicest restaurants I have ever been too. My son and I came here for lunch and were amazed by the food and the view of Oak Creek. I will definitely be back!
The nats were annoying by the water. The food was ok but really not that special. The setting was amazing but the rest didn't live up to expectations.
I ate at the California Auberge not sure if they are connected but that was special
Tucked along Oak Creek, the outdoor dining is the best we've experienced. Before this dinner, I would have sworn beach dining was as romantic as it gets, but L'Auberge proved me wrong. The sound of the creek, the tables tucked along the trees, the top-notch service and fabulous food made it an evening we will never forget.
It was the perfect setting for a special anniversary dinner right on the creek. Sounds of running water and romantic lighting made for a memorable evening. Not only is the food well prepared but the servings are generous including the appetizers and salads.
The best dining experience in Sedona. Do not miss this gem.
We always love our experience at l'Auberge Sedona. Would recommend any and all experiences, dining, overnight in the lodge or cabins. All fantastic!!!
During our recent vacation to Sedona, we dined at a table right along the Oak Creek at L'Auberge. The setting was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. I watched a hummingbird flitter above the water for quite some time as I scanned the menu and tried to select my courses. Our waiter was friendly and provided us with excellent service. The food was outstanding and the wine list was very good. I wouldn't have changed anything about our dining experience except for one minor thing. Towards the end of the meal as the sunlight was fading, there was an increasing number of little gnats and a few ended up floating in my wine glass before I had finished it off. I suppose this is the downside to dining beside a creek!
This place is excellent and you won't regret going. The crab crepe was delicious and bursting with crab. The duck, pork loin, and venison melt in you mouth, and the sticky toffee pudding will blow you away. Great wine selection and an amazing spot next to Oak Creek. It is expensive but you will love it. I would have done 4.5 stars if I could have, but had to knock it a little for price.
Everything in this restaurant was excellent. While on vacation we ate there 3 times. I travelled all over the world and this was one of my best dinner. This is by far better than the French Laundry or any other restaurant in New York City, The chef Rochelle Daniel is amazing. The foie gras was exceptional. I would go back to Sedona just to eat there.
My husband and I came to your restaurant during our vacation. We felt like we were in a fairytale setting, complete with a babbling brook, wildlife, beautiful landscape and food and service fit for a king and queen. It was a special night that we will always cherish.
Great outdoor Spring/Summer dining right next to beautiful Oak Creek. The wine list is spectacular, with many of our favorites. The courses were fabulous with many layers of flavor and no dissappointments throughout the meal. The service was great, with the wait staff very attentive and very knowledgable about the food and wine. We highly recommend this restaurant while dining in Sedona and a definite must for special occasions.
look forward to your Sunday champagne brunch soon. Please let us know whether it is a buffet (as it was some years ago)
We had an 8 pm reservation and came 15 minutes early. We were warmly greeted and seated immediately. We got a table for two just next to the creek (Oak Creek) and had a wonderful dining experience, with excellent food and great service.
Chef Rochelle Danielle adds an exciting touch to the dishes using fresh, local and organic ingredients. The great tasting venison we had was served with the best tasting peas reminding us of our childhood summers eating peas from the pod.
The service was outstanding and prompt. The bubbling sound of the creek a soothing background setting.
I had very high hopes for this restaurant because of reviews and their excellent wine list. The setting is enchanting - outdoor sitting by the creek. Not fit for foodie. The pork belly was so hard and dry that my knife couldn't cut through. Filet mignon (prepared in classic French tradition with pomme puree and red wine reduction sauce) was good but nothing spectacular. The cheese course came with very simple accompaniments (dried cherries, candid pecans and stale french baguette slices). The server was nice but service was less then optimal. She had very limited knowledge of wines and even when asked for the sommelier, he never came by.
Overall, it was a disappointing dinner not worth the price (we spent about $400 for two).
Expensive but a unique dining experience with excellent service and artfully prepared dishes. As it should be!
A very nice place to have a romantic dinner.
I absolutely loved my experience at this restaurant and resort. This is fine dining, so expect higher prices. In my opinion, the food and scenery are well worth the cost. This will be a repeat trip for me.
Beautiful setting! Wonderful service and the food was delicious!
This is my favorite dining expereince and every time I go there I am reminded why. L'Auberge never disappoints and always exceeds my expectation of how incredible they are in food, service and atmoshere.
We were lucky to be seated right by the creek both times we dined at L'Auberge. Our dinner was delicious, although four courses were too much for us and we wished we had gone with the three course option instead. The breakfast was very good although the pacing was a little funny. I hate to be rushed at dinner but I don't expect an ordinary breakfast to take an hour from start to finish. All of the servers we interacted with were very pleasant and clearly trained to make the customer feel special. This restaurant has the perfect ambiance for a special occasion.
Dined at this restaurant several times during a stay at the hotel it is part of named L'Auberge de Sedona. I wasn't sure what to expect based on the pictures but the atmosphere was amazing. Very romantic sitting by the creek side, listening to the running water and watching the ducks swim by. I had read others describe this place as "magical" and "like a fairy tale" and I think I'd agree after being there. My fiancee was absolutely in love with the setting.
The food was equally as good here. We enjoyed everything we had and it was served by excellent waitstaff. A nice surprise was brunch on Sunday morning. I had not known about this but it turned out to be amazing and I wish I could go back!
Everything about our dining experience was excellent
The food is very tasty, the blue cheese salad is very rich, the steak is very soft and juicy. The dessert is very sweet and have many layers of taste. We are eating next to the river and very nice and quiet environment. The service is so-so as need to wait for a while to get refill of water or hot water. Also, we have to wait for a while to order and pay for the bill. Anyway, other things are great!
Creek side setting was fantastic. Food and wine selection was very good. The duck entree was the only thing we disliked. The preparation was not what a "duck eater" would be expecting.
Couldn't ask for a better location, food or service. It was one of the best meals I ever had!!
Ask for a table by the creek for a romantic dinning experience with a great view. Be sure to book early enough to have some daylight to enjoy the view of the creek.
We went to L'Auberge Sedona last week and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The creekside dining provided a beautiful and relaxing setting. Service was impeccable. The menu had good variety and the wine list was extensive. Can't wait to return.
Ate here for Sunday brunch. We were met by the hostess who announced they were seating creek side today. You know nothing bad can begin with those words. We sat by a charming creek while we sipped unlimited champagne and ate a wide selection of brunch items. Our waiter was attentive and we never felt rushed. The parking is only valet, but its free!
We spent our 4th annervisery at L'Auberge, great time, enjoyed the view, food and wine.
